My daughter’s birthday was well celebrated. The drinks were excellent. The crab cake and dipping shrimp appetizers were marvelous. The steaks were extraordinary. Great spot for a special occasion.

Everything was great except for the hostess. We arrived and she had the worst attitude. Didn’t ask if I wanted to check my coat and had the worst unhappy face. She looked like she hates her job.

I made reservations about 2 months in advance for Valentine’s Day. I arrived 5 min before my time and was told to wait and will be sent a message to my phone number. I sat and waited by the bar that is directly next to the hostess desk and never got called or sent a message. At 930 my wife tells me why are we still waiting and we should ask the front desk “what is going on with our table?”. I then asked the lady who told me to wait and she says “oh I’m sorry I thought we sent you the message” then we waited another 5 min and they seated us. This was my first experience with them and it was disappointing to have to wait that long and have my wife just sit there like that hungry. I should of left and went some place else but stayed because I already payed $20 for valet and waited so long already. They never sent a manager to apologize for my wait. What’s the point of making a reservation then?? Wouldn’t come back!!!

Came down for Valentine's day it was a little too urban for my taste..I was there about three years ago really great everything... Now I'm scratching my head like what happened to the ambiance, the service everything. The in crowd has moved on.. The food was underwhelming at best... I'm over it I won't be back maybe when they first opened everyone was intrigued by the newness of it all... And have quietly when back to the old reliable such as Ruth Chris, gene and georgetti, Gibson's etc

Not sure why but there was an unusual wait time for the food, almost an hour before eating. No other complaints, will be back.

food was amazing - tomyhawk steak was out of this world// favorable.. nothing over the top- perfecto meat! love the crab cakes wow... so fresh and nice portion as well. my fav sides - lobster mac n cheese and grilled mushrooms omg . I will definitely will be back. thank you for making our night amazingly special... thank you

Always a great meal, always great service. Although not a negative but the menu has changed and my favorite appetizers was removed but it won’t stop me from dining here.

Absolutely incredible dinner and service! Husband had dry aged NY strip, and I had fillet and crab cake. Pure crab, no fillers. Fantastic! Cheesecake was like no other. Several inches high, and so light and delish. Topped with fresh strawberries. The entire experience creme de la creme!

We're regulars here, and the steaks and service can be the best in Chicago. Great sides, fantastic wine list...

One nit -- and this has happened to me more than once. Del Frisco's obviously thinks a great steak should be close to rare. Their version of "medium" is pink on the outside and red on the middle. Each time I visit, I ask for a "true medium," with nice pink (but not running blood) on the inside.

Invariably, the steak comes medium well, with just a hint of pink! Not what I want.
