Me and my wife went here for valentine's day. We order steak and it was really great and delicious. However there was no garnishing or decorating on the plate, not even a single vegetable!

Everything we ordered was super delicious , however the plates with a piece of steak standing alone does not look good at all. You definitely expect some garnishing when you pay so much!

Party of 7 for friend's birthday. Granted they were about 30 minutes behind on seating us, the rest of the evening was flawless. Bobby ( our server) was fabulous. Food was incredible as always. Not the least expensive place to eat, but then it is well worth the splurge.

Great food and service. We had to wait past our reservation time for a table -- we weren't directed to the bar so we assumed it would be just a couple minutes, but it went past that. One steak was clearly under-cooked and had to be sent back twice -- so one of us watched the other eat and then vice versa.

Service was outstanding. It was quiet, great for date night and having conversations. Great menu with great steak options, delicious sides, and deserts! Huge wine menu, and half-priced wine by the glass on Fridays!

Dinner was great although entree cane before sides but was then corrected. We ordered dessert to go but it was forgotten but then added complementary. We were there for the Andrea Bocelli concert so we were in somewhat of a hurry. Over all it was a wonderful evening. Our server was very good but he was exceptionally busy. No fault of his own. Perhaps a lot of concert goers very early. Anyway way we had a great dinner and will return when we come to Charlotte again.

After a long trip from overseas, whereas the food wine and services was already very bad, I decided to get small plates at Del Frisco and relax a little before call it a night.
Upon being seated at a nice table. I ordered a Negroni cocktail, to start my meal, a 3.5 cl of a nice Pinot Blanc 6 oysters on the half shell, 3 stone crab claws and a pound of king crab legs.
The wine came within minutes, the Negroni never made it to my little table, finally I started sipping my wine because there was no wait staff for me in sight for “miles”. After about 15 minutes my ordered food arrived; the oysters where delicious, the stone crab claws tasted OK however the seemed to be of age or over cooked before chilling because the meat would be very hard to separate from the shells and the king crab legs (which I ordered hot) had suffered similar faith then the claws.
So my relaxed quality dinner I was looking forward too unfortunately did not happen.
Besides the waiter wanted to be on a first name basis with me and called me young man all evening long.
So I decided to calm myself with a Martel VSOP Cognac and an Espresso and just forget about the whole thing.
The Espresso was served with my “Cognac” in a cylindrical glass. I lived for 7 years in France and what was in that cylindrical glass had nothing to do with Cognac. I asked to see the Sommelier, but I was told after a few minutes that the person was no longer in the Restaurant. So I paid my bill and left - never to go back there again.
Often I have the feeling that single diners are not considered valued customers - however the restaurant in this case was not heavily booked - one would think every head counts.

the majority of the food was good. I ordered salmon and it was not good, way overcooked. Sent most of it back. My husband's steak was undercooked, he should have sent it back. Just not what we've come to expect there.

We were shown to a beautiful balcony table which allowed us to
appreciate the restaurant’s soaring architecture. The waitress was lovely and attentive. The warm sesame crusted brioche bread was delicious. However, I was disappointed that we weren’t offered a second serving of bread after we finished the first.

I ordered the 8oz filet mignon which was served with an unusual fissure down the middle of the steak caused by a tendon running through the center of the “filet.” The meat was tough and stringy with additional visible gristle running throughout the meat which made it difficult to cut even with the very sharp steak knife provided. I consider this gristle in filet mignon unacceptable as filet mignon should be uniformly tender throughout without any gristle. Seasoning was not applied uniformly to the meat so one bite was bland while another was over salted. This was the sorriest excuse for filet mignon that I have ever been served.

My husband ordered three stone crab claws as an appetizer which were tasty but messy to eat as the claws hadn’t been properly loosened from their shell as is the case at Joe’s Stone Crab in Miami.

Other dishes we ordered were excellent. The bacon appetizer was excellent. It was an extremely large entree sized portion that was fork tender and had a divine sweet and spicy glaze. My husband’s crab cake entree was light and delicious. Our side orders of mushrooms, brussel sprouts and potatoes au gratin were excellent.

Walking in we loved the ambiance. The staff was friendly and the service excellent. The food was delicious. I have celiacs disease and they were very accommodating. Lucky for our excellent waiter, Andrew, who noticed my meal did not come out Gluten Free. He fixed
that instantly. That could have been an awful situation. All in all highly recommend but you must dig deep into your pockets. EXTREMELY PRICEY.

Our issue with this restaurant is the ambiance. The minute we arrived we were assaulted with LOUD music that was totally inappropriate for this type of restaurant. To be fair, corporate apparently controls this so I don't fault the staff but it caused us to leave before we ever even ordered. We couldn't even have a conversation! When you spend hundreds of dollars to go to a restaurant like this for a nice evening out, you don't expect to feel like you're in the French Quarter at Mardi Gras! They need to decide if they're going to be a bar or a fine dining restaurant.

Also, our waiter (while nice) was relatively inattentive. He came by once, told us he had something else he had to do and would return. Ten minutes later we still hadn't seen him. Then, when we talked to him about the music situation, he said he would get the manager. We waited at least another 5 minutes and finally started to walk out. We got an explanation from him about the situation but just couldn't stay.

While I was disappointed to miss out on a nice meal at Del Frisco's, it saved us a lot of money and a horrible evening. I hope they decide to fix this issue otherwise, we won't be going back.

We where there during Queen Feast and the service we had named Kevin was rather disappointing. Yes he brought me water when I needed it but we waited on our food and waiting on him when we got done than we waiting on him again to bring dessert. While this whole time he was over two tables talking to the table of 5 than must of ordered from the full menu.
When he finally came over to our table to tell us they had ran out of cheesecake. I saw 4 pieces of cheesecake go by and a couple 3 tables back from us get a pieces 'm like okay. They did offer us the butter cake which was wonderful but he didn't bring it out another server did and he was back over there talking to that table of 5. We had to wait for him to finally come over to pack up over leftovers. He put everything in containers but in a plastic bag while I observed others get their leftovers put in a paper Del Friscos bag. Once again hmmmm.
My husband and I very disappointed in the restaurant and not sure if we will return. We have already told over 10 people about a disappointing diner. And not once asked if we were celebrating anything which we were it was my birthday. We had gone to The Melting Pot the week before and OMG had a wonderful time. Asked when we checked in if this was a special occasion and than our server Steven asked us when he came over.
I mentioned it to Kevin once or twice during dinner and he just smiled and didn't say a thing. My manager had been in there about a moth or so again and said what a wonderful place Del Friscos was I told him about what happened to me and his mouth dropped open. I hope this makes it to the manager for I'm not happy and really upset that I was retreated this way just because I asked to have the wine glasses removed.

Sincerely,

Tammy Foster

We went during restaurant week. We both had the same meal, 3 courses for $35. A great value compared to the regular priced menu. First and foremost the service was very good. First course lobster bisque. Several "chunks" of lobster but WAY too salty ( I'm not even kidding crazy salty) Second course Filet Duo, 2- 4 oz fillet s with (2) different sauces, young green beans and mashed potato. The fillets were cooked perfectly (as ordered) and the sauces were very nice as were the mashed potatoes, unfortunately the greens beans, while seasoned nicely , were basically uncooked. Now I know everyone has opinions on how cooked , cooked vegetables should be, but these were not cooked at all , so I mentioned this and they brought more...but they were the same, uncooked( even though I expressed my desire for them to be cooked more). Finally , the desert, we both got the Strawberry cheesecake and it was one of the best I've ever had...not dense like traditional cheesecake but fluffy , a cheesecake type that I've never had before but enjoyed a lot. On the way out we heard another diner talking to his server about the uncooked green beans...maybe the management or the kitchen will take note.
