Pecan Crust & Strawberry Sauce
Awesome as usual, our waitress was terrific.
We will be back for many more lunches.
Went for birthday dinner. Service was great. Not a big fan of the rolls drizzled in whatever that was…didn’t want to start my dinner with sticky hands. Found crab cakes to be too salty. My Prime Rib Eye was not as tender as I would have expected for the money. I thought there was a dress code? Potatoes au gratin were delish…Dinner guests had a lot of hoodies and baseball caps…ugh. It would have been nice if something that is supposed to be special was really as special as expected but it wasn’t. It was nice to receive a complimentary slice of cheesecake for my birthday.
Our waiter was the best! I forgot her name but i do remember she was Russian! She made the experience awesome. Thank you for the good laughs.
Always a great meal, with great service and a wonderful view of the city.
The waitress was not helpful at all she forgot about my drink I had remind her. She did not check up on us how was everything.
We went for New Year’s Eve and it was outstanding! We were early for our reservation and sat at the bar for a drink. The bartenders were friendly and made excellent drinks. The hostess came and got us when our table was ready. The wait staff was so attentive and made us feel very welcome. The food was delicious. We would highly recommend Del Fresco’s to anyone who likes a high end dinner with a beautiful view and incredible service.
A very limited New Years Eve menu was disappointing, with options for beef and fish only - not a single option for for chicken, pork, or vegetarian. Beef and fish dishes were otherwise good. Two different specialty cocktails at $20 each were nothing to write home about, and therefore a poor value. Service was very good for such a busy holiday evening.
All depends on your server's knowledge and experience. We've been there many times and simply not consistent.... just don't know what you are going to get.
The food is spectacular! The service is wonderful. All the staff are helpful and kind. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
This is our fav place but
the waiter and food was excellent. as always the view out the window into the harbor was fabulous. our only issue was sone fellow diners need to use their “inside voices”.
Our dining experience was fine but not exceptional for the very high prices. The service was the biggest disappointment. We waited a long time throughout the evening to get attention and items ordered. The food was fine but nothing great.
Always a great an reliable place to meet with friends or business colleagues! Great service and great food!
Del Frisco's is one of my favorite, went for lunch instead of the usual dinner, unbelievable Lobster Bisque with large chunks of Lobster inside, however the "Filet Medallions were a little disappointing (very unusual for this steak house) but the value was there, did have an enjoyabloe afternoon
I know steak houses usually are not worth the price. But just a few observations. the steaks were good . But the Salmon and Halibut were salty, also the lobster bisque was salty. the coffee was served and then the dessert came 10 minutes later, just unfortunate. The banana bread pudding was cold not good. It was a Tuesday so maybe that was the problem but it should not be an excuse.
Amazing experience our server Rosa was outstanding
Steaks were horrible, seafood overcooked and everything way overpriced.
Del Frisco's is a beautifully designed restaurant with an absolutely stunning waterfront view. The ambiance is perfect for a high-end steakhouse. The drinks were delightful and the hostesses were professional.
However, for a couple spending nearly $500 on dinner, Del's misses the mark. Firstly, the steaks and seafood are standard Landry's fair. Landry's is the parent company that bought out Del's a couple years ago and has since switched the product sourcing to their national vendors. The food is just simply not the same.
Specifically, the crab legs were not as fresh as their menu price would suggest and the quality of their steaks are good, not great. There is good reason why their steaks are so aggressively seasoned after all.
Lastly, the service was disappointing. Our waitress was overwhelmed and made no attempt to hide it from the guests. Wait times for drinks were long and our questions about menu items were met with disdain. We were simply a table needing to be turned to her.
Outstanding food, service and ambiance
Steak was cool when served and not very good and for $76 should have been much better
We understand It was Christmas day, but several of our steaks were too rare when we asked for medium. Also, when I made the reservations for Christmas day (and I had to make, cancel and remake the reservation) I was never told that there was a set menu for Christmas.
We hade a great Christmas at this place. Our server Emma was wonderful with us (3 of which small kids) and we know she was handling several table. Food and drinks were delicious as well as the service. Thank you Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse - Boston for making our Christmas very pleasurable and memorable!
Everything was excellent!
Not our best experience at Del Friscos. We have a family tradition to have dinner there every year on Christmas Eve. This year the service was subpar, our table was at the very back of the restaurant and felt squeezed into a tight spot. It took 30 mins to get bread, and our waitress seemed overwhelmed. We may write this off to a labor shortage due to the pandemic, but not sure yet if we’ll continue our tradition here.
Outstanding Christmas Eve Dinner !
The entire team poo served us was incredible. We really enjoyed ourselves. The table was beautiful the view is amazing and so everyone was running around like crazy they all had smiles on their faces and did everything they could to make sure that we had a wonderful time.
Christmas Eve lunch after the holiday pops with kids and grandparents. Food was delicious, service was great. They were short staffed so took a bit long to get seated despite being only ones there. Love the view from this location. Recommend for any holiday.
Celebrating my dads 60th, my MBA graduation, and my sisters admission to the MA BAR. The service was terrible and slow, the restaurant was empty so not sure why. We didn’t get some of the apps we ordered. And our steaks were over cooked and not great. Dessert was served on a plate with a bunch of candles and the server said “lots to celebrate so i threw on candles” and walked away - kind of awkward and careless when the bill was almost $2000. Incredibly disappointed.
Very bad experience. I have eaten at high end steak houses all over the US. This was the worst. 5 out of 6 steaks were wrong. The wait staff didn’t care. The sides were cold. For $1200? We expected much more. Don’t waist your time or money. McDonald’s would have been better.
I was a first timer here and I'll say that I enjoyed the experience overall. This is my girlfriend's favorite restaurant but I hadn't tried it until we went out for her birthday. The steaks are very good but I have to say, Ruth's Chris is still my favorite. The 8 oz filet was nice and soft like a filet should be but lacked more flavor. Maybe a salted buttery sauce would have added to the overall flavor profile. Still, it was enjoyable albeit bland. The VIP featured cocktail- excellent! Loved it. The shrimp cocktail was very nice as well. It was advertised as 'jumbo' I want to say, but these weren't the largest shrimp I've ever seen. A touch underwhelming. The lobster Mac & Cheese is killer. It's worth it, not that its an expensive dish or anything. Just trust me. Service here was acceptable. Our waitress was nice to speak with.
For the food, Ruth's Chris has my top spot, but Del Frisco's is worth the visit. Get the VIP and don't sleep on the Lobster Mac & Cheese!
They seated us early and 3 different waiters tried to bring us water and take drink orders. The wine came ok but extremely long waits to order, receive our food, bus the table and get our check. Our waiter clearly had other priorities than our table. For $300 for a couple there are better restaurants with better service available.
Service very slow took over 30 minutes to have our food delivered. Not what you would expect at Del Friscos. Definitely not worth the money for service that was delivered.
My steak was awful.
Always consistent, always delicious. Perfect spot for a celebratory night out with friends!!
It was my birthday and my waiter, Ryan was amazing!! He was so caring, helpful and friendly. Allowed us to take our time, got us free cakes for my birthday. He made our experience there much better!! Drinks and food were all great, price is definitely worth it.
Honestly had a bad night here. complete miss on our table. Booked reservations a Month in advance for a Christmas get together with the family. Got seated 20 minutes late which was fine. got seated in the middle of a Christmas party at the bar, while strangers are bumping into the chairs and huddled around our table. I didn't have a chair but a barstool and no one came back with a chair for me. I stood for 10 minutes. the bar stool couldn't slide under the table. I finally asked to switch to a table in the dining area. We waited another twenty minutes for this new table. Server was great. the Apps were great. The Sides were great. The dinner took an hour to come out and my steak came out raw. The server actually came over with a flashlight to inspect my steak which I thought was odd. She pointed at the end piece I cut and said that's how we cook to medium. I agreed but then showed her the actual full steak (the middle) as the end piece is normally cooked more. She agreed and took it back. My whole family ate because I figured this new steak would come out quick. 25 minutes later a new piece arrives and my family is finishing up the meals. The waiter has me cut into this new steak and the knife went right through it and it was purple. I didn't even have to say anything. The waiter knew and immediately said he doesn't know what to say. At this point I wasn't asking for another steak so I ate sides only and missed out on my family dinner. They offered to take my meal off. That does absolutely nothing as I didn't get a meal. The meal shouldn't even be on the bill in the first place to take off so I'm not sure how they thought I benefitted from that. After i said that, They took off the appetizers which was good. The apps and side were delicious. Overall just a bad experience this night. I know the food is delicious but I felt robbed and I missed dinner with my family.
It was very disappointing! We have had much better experiences there previously. Service was slow, it was incredibly loud and they appeared to be back to business as usual, as if we were not in a pandemic. There appeared to be no attempt to space tables and no limit on numbers allowed into the bar area. It was uncomfortable and unsafe.
Food and service was awesome. Kitchen was slow
Had been to del friscos a few times over the years and it was always good. A sign of the times I think with a total staff shortage on a busy Friday. Servers were beyond busy and food and wine service took forever.
Also maybe a silly thing but a steak house with steak knives that were completely dull!!!
Not a great dining experience but will give them another try.
The restaurant is too noisy for conversation at a large table. Acoustical treatment is needed. Service was less than average with long waits between table visits by our waiter.
