We were here to celebrate my husband running the Boston Marathon & were pleased with our experience! The service team was exceptional. The shellfish plateau is amazing. My husband was very pleased with his strip steak & creamed corn. The chilean sea bass with crab fried rice is mouthwatering. The most amazing thing for us though is the Butter Cake...can't get enough!!

Completely misses of the fine (and even not so fine) points of service, which I would expect to be routine at a place of this touted caliber. Coat check person layered one wet coat upon another, attempting to use one hanger for 3 coats (it was a quiet night, no need for this). Host stand was busy windexing something aand organizing highlighters but was gracious about accepting our reservation and escorting us to table.
As a rule, Dels inexplicably does not use trays for serving drinks, so your cocktail arrives clutched in a server's hand with as many as s/he can hold, and sloshing all over the glass. Our server, while very nice and friendly, entirely lacked in the refinement and professionalism that the environs (and price point) command.
When dinner arrived, staff insists on "serving" each diner a portion of the side dishes, which consisted more of slopping food onto, or at least near, our plates. The ensuing mess was less than appetizing.
Beginning to end, staff has a lot of work to do to provide an experience even nearing that of nearby competitiors.

I let them know when we made the reservation that we would be celebrating the anniversary. Red flower petals decorated our table, there was a happy anniversary sign on the table and we were served a complimentary glass of Prosecco. Several staff members acknowledged our anniversary. We ordered lobster cocktail and Wellfleet oysters for first course. Both were excellent. Bone in rib eye and bone in filet were the entrees. Both were highly seasoned, lean, cooked to perfection, and delicious. We added sauteed mushrooms and a mountain of thickly cut onion rings as sides. As good as the food was, our server was even better.

This is a landmark Boston restaurant and was highly recommended by local friends. It is a special place for celebratory occasions and has a lovely dining room and wonderful views of the harbor.
That being said I would point out a few things to future diners. The valet parkers were not visible as we approached the entrance so we parked in a lot close by. We had a comfortable booth table and drink orders were taken by one server...then were assigned another server so things got delayed. Wine we ordered was not available so a substitute was suggested and accepted. Brussel sprout side dish was not hot and they were not cooked through, octopus was at least warm, but barely seared. Why not rolls in a restaurant of this caliber? A seeded baguette that needs to be sliced for the table is awkward. Steak tips ordered medium well came rare but didn't bother to send back . Desserts were great. This is a pricey restaurant so expectations for service and food are high...they need to work a little harder to meet them.

We had a wonderful experience at Del Frisco’s. The sides were my favorite part. The Brussels sprouts and creamed corn were fabulous with the triple filet mignon! It was my sons birthday and they brought out multiple desserts for our table and they were delicious. We would definitely go again for a special occasion.

There's definitely some issues with the reservation system at the Seaport Del Frisco's, and the hostess was NOT friendly about it. This has happened to us in some way or another 3 times in 3 years: We get there right on time for the reservation, and there is no table ready for at least 30 minutes. This year however they went to a whole 'nother level with it. The hostess was extremely rude, and told me I called earlier that day and changed my reservation from 8:00 to 9 PM, and from six to FIFTEEN people! Luckily i used open table which kept my reservation, and had no record whatsoever of the change. She couldn't corroborate the story at all and people at the bar said it's happened to them in the past as well. Given the rudeness, lack of evidence, and historical issues, I highly suspect they did this on purpose because they overbooked and had no tables. Well, here's a tip: If you want to pull off a stunt like that, the hostess needs to be compassionate and friendly and play it off like a complete mis-understanding. A complimentary dessert also would've eliminated this spiteful review. On the bright side, we had incredible steaks, sides, and drinks. The food was fantastic and worth the price. We also had a wonderful waitress who was very responsive and even predictive of our needs. I still recommend it to others, just watch your reservations at peak times, and call a few hours in advance to confirm. Here's hoping the Back Bay location has more seating and doesn't resort to such obvious charades.

Del Frisco's New York is consistently my favorite steakhouse and it's my mission to try them all. Boston's was on par with New York food wise, but service was a bit lacking. The restaurant messed up my reservation and we ended up having to wait an hour and 15 minutes to be seated. Afterwards, they took care of us but we were frustrated about not finishing our entrees until nearly midnight. Overall, would recommend and would definitely go back.

Went on a Saturday night for our anniversary and it was the best meal that we can remember having. But it was everything else that made the night so memorable. From the hostess wishing us Happy Anniversary when we checked in, to the placard already on our table again with well wishes, to the table they sat us at with incredible views. Our waitress, Paige was absolutely incredible. She's got a great personality and seemed to check in on us at just the right rate. She was incredibly knowledgeable of the menu and helped make the night even more memorable. And she even ended up being from the same tiny hometown in Central Ma. They put our desserts on the house and wished us well as we departed (full and happy haha). We don't have the budget (3 kids at home!) to make this a regular stop but it's absolutely now on the short list for occasion dining.
Starters:
Nueske Bacon Au-Poivre
Del's Salad (with the most amazing avocado ranch dressing)
Entrees:
12oz Filet
Bone-In Prime Ribeye
Sides: Served family style
Sauteed Wild Mushrooms and Onions
Asparagus with Roasted Almonds
Chateau Mashed Potatoes
Dessert:
Strawberry Cheesecake

Absolutely not worth the cost. The food was... fine. Everything tasted like it should, but I don't think you give out awards for that. Beer selection was pathetic, wine list was expansive, but $50 for Ravenswood is absurd.

This restaurant has a beautiful view and the food is even better. The apps are outstanding and the dry aged ribeye is probably the best steak I’ve ever had. If you enjoy wine but need advice on what to choose they have a sommelier to answer any questions and he didnt make us feel stupid because we weren’t connoisseurs. The wait staff is on top of everything from start to finish. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Service was extremely slow. Noise level was extremely loud. My husband and I couldn’t have a conversation because we couldn’t hear each other sitting across a table for two. The view, however, is great.
Both the boneless rib eye I had and the 8oz filet my husband had were extremely salty.
The only positive I have is that since we were celebrating my husband’s birthday they served us two wonderful desserts on the house.
I’m sorry to say I have dined at much better steak restaurants.

Had a reservation for 9 for a business lunch. We waited 20 minutes for waters. One person was stuck in traffic and was running late, but I had to ask 3xs for waters for the table and if we could put a drink & apps order in. It also had a cold atmosphere. The food was good, but there are so many better options out there for the price range. Our staff was so excited to go there for lunch and it just didn’t feel special.

We live in Boston's Back Bay and dine out on a regular basis. This was our first visit to Del Frisco's. It is very noisy and definitely not a relaxing dinner atmosphere. It was impossible to hear the person across the table from you. The quality of food was very disappointing from inedible over salted mashed potatoes, to barely warm rubbery chilean sea bass, to luke warm cappuccinos and room temperature "warm" bread pudding, that took another 15 minutes to be served after the cappuccinos. The filet mignon was average, but certainly not worth the $64.00 they charge for it. Will never go back!

Easter Sunday... so very busy. Reservation was for 2 pm and were not seated until 2:25.
Our server was polite and professional but the volume of guests and the frenzy that was palpable detracted from the experience. Food was as expected (we are repeat guests to the brand) but delays w certain items and timing also impacted our experience. You could tell everyone was trying to do their best but also evident was panic and (almost) controlled chaos

Was very excited to go to the location in Boston. We first discovered this restaurant in NY. Was disappointed in the quality of food at the Boston location. The $100 lobster tail was dry and tough, Prime ribeye over seasoned had to send back. Service was very slow, had to ask for bread multiple times. Took 3 hours for a table for 4. Management did take care of all our desserts and the steak without us complaining. Because of that, we will give this location another try.

Had dinner on March 30th, 2018. The service was poor, the wine and dinner were overpriced, and meal preparation was un-impressive. The scallops were pan seared with no sauce or sides. The steak was nothing special. It is a very popular place but certainly not worth the value.

Visited Del Frisco's during restaurant week with our entire family. While the view was spectacular. Everything else was mediocre right from the start. Hostess, server, dinner and drinks. I would only give it another shot for drinks and apps on the gorgeous patio over looking the harbor. Otherwise, there are plenty of other fine steakhouses in the city that are much quieter and really cater to their guests.
