Pecan Crust & Strawberry Sauce
Disappointing experience. Management MIA and not interested in returning.
Excellent waitress Rebecca. Enjoyed the great view and food. All cooked perfectly
Service, food and view amazing!
We went to this restaurant with our family. They seated us outside, which was beautiful. The difficulty started when we ordered appetizers. They brought out one person’s food and the other appetizers were about 20 min later. The entrees were mediocre at best as compared to other high-end steak houses in Boston. The meals were cold, and poorly cooked. The steaks were not seasoned well and were not cooked correctly. We got the wagyu meatballs, they had zero seasoning and were very bland. Not to mention they seated us next to a speaker with music and none of my family could hear one another. The thing that really put the nail in the coffin is I brought our 9 year old with us and they did not offer us a kids menu so we tried to get her something off the regular menu. In looking around further into our mean, there were other children eating off a kids menu and when we asked were told, oh. Sorry about that. The overall meaI took about 2 hr and 15 min which was took long. I will not be returning here as the meal was $500 for something I could have gotten at an Applebee’s.
Thomas the gm personally welcomed us and handed us a bottle of wine sent by my daughter for my birthday. We were seated earlier than our reservation and had a good table with great ocean view. We had our order for appetizers in no time. The order for our rib eye steaks came almost an hour later but tasted just excellent. So we spent the hour waiting with great conversation with my group of 8. We were given a cheesecake with a candle to blow for my birthday. Our waiter Marino was just overwhelmed with serving 5 other tables but we didn’t mind the delay because we had a great time. After dinner Thomas was kind enough to show us his wine cellar with his award winning wine. Thank you Thomas, Marino and the Del Frisco staff for making my birthday dinner memorable.
The food was delicious and our waitress was amazing. The only problem was with the side of asparagus which was not ripe but she was quick to rectify the situation by taking it off the bill and surprised us with the creamed corn which was superb.
Came for my birthday. Food wasn’t as good as expected for the price. Ruth’s Chris blows this place out of the water
We have dined at Del Friscos many times and recently (last three or so visits) have been really disappointed with the food. The tuna tartare was bland, the egg rolls were doughy and the steaks were not impressive. I took a friend there for her first time and after paying our $400 check, we went to Smith and Wollensky. I’m not sure I’d return. $400 is a lot for a meal that was not delicious or memorable. Maybe the decline is pandemic related, or a management issue, but I hope they get it resolved.
Service and attentiveness were excellent. Food arrived quickly and a miscommunication with the server was resolved quickly and appropriately. Filet medallions were excellent and cooked to order perfectly. Roasted chicken was just ok. There is an overwhelming amount of peppercorn as seasoning in both entrees and side dishes. Musiac paying outside on deck was a little loud and railing at eye level blocked the harbor view due to chairs being low. Restuarant honored our request to eat outside and recognized that it was a special occasion for us!
Our meal was fantastic. One tip...request Jasmine for your server. She will make your day better in every way.
Everything was excellent, the food, the service, the desserts. We enjoyed our time 👌
Great food and atmosphere. A bit pricey but to be expected for a quality steakhouse.
First time hear been at most DFs so was what I expected
4 out of the 5 steaks ordered were cooked to a different preference than ordered. Wait staff did a good job to attempt to fix issue but still wasn’t up to par for the price of the steak.
Food was great, ambiance was great, service was really bad. If you go just make sure you don't sit in the bar.
This restaurant is beautiful and the food is delicious! Amazing place for a date night!!!
Celebrating my wife birthday. Did was delicious
Not as special as it used to be.
Love Del Frisco’s in the south seaport - such a great vibe and energy here. One of the best wine lists in all of Boston!
Delfrisco’s has always been my favorite steak house until our last experience.
Resturant was accommodating with last minute changes to party of 8 reservations.
Beautiful view (table near water)
Server was apologetic for restaurant flaws
Staff had no issues serving cupcakes we brought from an outside bakery
Drinks took 15-20 mins to receive. I order a “Kentucky Mule” (bourbon) and received “Moscow Mule” (vodka). Instead of instantly remaking the drink. It took another 15 mins to receive correct drink- totaling 40 mins for one drink.
Bartender also did salted rims on margaritas instead of sugared. (Server blamed it “new bartenders”)
Drinks mistakes were so terrible, we decided not to order anymore alcoholic beverages.
We asked for our Ribeye Steaks to be cooked medium well, however steaks were cooked well done (gray all the way). At least 4 steaks were ruined.
Sever simply apologized saying there was a new “cook” in the kitchen ( not what I wanted to here when I spending $70 on a piece of steak, this is Delfrisco’s not Applebee’s)
Meal took 2 hours from time order was put in to when it was brought to our table.
Again, no knock to server, it appeared every mistake was out of his control.
Del Frisco's really improved since our last visit pre-pandemic. Theresa our server was awesome!
We requested a high-top bar table and got a table with a great view. We like the bar area because its got a good vibe and energetic. Unfortunately we had a table of 10 next to us celebrating a birthday, but besides that the service, steak and meal was outstanding. The bone-in ribeye was split between my wife and myself and was cooked to the right temperature and was more than enough for the two of us.
Great view - great location - service was marginal at best - spent almost 1000.00 on dinner certainly did not feel the overall experience was worth that. Seems to appear a management issue at this location or lack of management.
Great meal as usual! Steaks were cooked to perfection and the butter cake was to die for! Excellent service provided by Olena and the del Frisco’s staff
Celebrated my husbands birthday on a hot summers night. We were disappointed to find that the outdoor seating was not open; even though we called earlier that day and they stated that it would be. The server was exceptional and they gave us an amazing view in the lounge area. The food is where I take exception to. I pointed out that my meat was overcooked and I was quickly brushed off. The quality of the food has greatly declined since our previous visit last year. We were deeply saddened about our visit because this was our go to restaurant for special occasions.
On a service related note, when a customer says their beef is over cooked please acknowledge them don’t disregard them.
This was our 2nd time eating here after pandemic. We had dry aged Ribeye and sirloin which was great. Service was a little slow and shortage if workers we understand.
Beautiful view. Would prefer outdoor seating in future.
We had to beg to sit outside on their deck. Beer came warm not in chilled glasses as promised. Food was excellent and cooked to perfection. The mashed potatoes are outstanding. The harbor view is spectacular.
The venue is superb, great vibe, excellent food and very attentive staff. Our server was Jack. Very personable and really cared about our experience. Thanks for making it special!
Food was amazing! Service was good, very friendly! Save room for the butter cake at the end!
Definitely became our favorite steak house in one night!
Waitress and manger were phenomenal. Food was amazing.
Belated birthday dinner with my family and I was underwhelmed at the lack of care or attention to the food and service that was given. Although our server attempted to apologize for the situation, it did not seem sincere, more rehearsed or general practice. The view from our table made up for the whole experience other than that, nothing worth the price. All of our food came out cold or near room temperature, expect for my second prime rib that had to be remade because it was way over cooked… when the second steak came after almost 40 mins and 90 mins in the restaurant, it was better but by then, everything else was cold and didn’t even taste appetizing. Dessert, “warm” bread pudding was barely warm, hard as if it was 2 days old and just not that good. My son had a great time so I did not complain, but figured I’d share so that the experience can be improved for others.
A good luncheon experience but lacking the details and ambiance to call it ‘fine dining’. Paying $350 for two we did not feel pampered.
Employees grooming standards and uniforms needs to be reviewed as they did not resemble what you would expect at a high end steakhouse.
Service and food was great! Our server was very attentive and kind.
slow service, cold food. not the best experience
Feeling like a steak chain. Service was rushed, bread was stale, apps just ok. Steaks were great though. Not as special as the bill would have reflected.
Arrived 10 minutes early for 7 PM res, hostess suggested sitting at bar. Bar service was excellent, as were the cocktails. Were not seated until 7:15, after checking with hostess twice. Seems that we had been forgotten about.
Waitress was a bit impatient. We said that we wanted to relax and hold off on ordering dinners until app came out, she said "No, food is taking a while to come out, so I'll be back shortly." Very off-putting.
Food was cooked perfectly, but flavors were very underwhelming. Bone-in ribeye, halibut, au gratins, brussels sprouts. Very disappointing for a $250 dinner.
Food excellent but service very slow. The air conditioner was not working properly so it was very hot and uncomfortable.
The service and food were great. The only issue we had was the air conditioning was not working and made for a very uncomfortable meal.
