Angelica was great amazing server thanks
The Aged strip steak was amazing. Even with the Dine Out Boston deal the bill came to over $300 for 2 people. Wait staff was very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend the bar.
It was very good in the restaurant until I left and had to pay $50 for parking after I spent $500 for my restaurant bill. Will never go back due to $50 to park my car after spending $500 in the restaurant.Shouldn't have to pay $50 to park when eating in the restaurant.
We went out for my mother’s 50th birthday. Service was okay, a little slow and not over attentive. Dirty dishes were left on the table for an extensive amount of time, especially for fine dining. A glass was broken by a worker and ended up on one of the guests. They were apologetic, and got a new sparkling water and table cloth. But overall the meal was interrupted. They did comp a birthday dessert. We have had better experiences at Morton’s and Ocean Prime.
We have dined at Del Frisco's on many occasions, usually to celebrate a special occasion and the last two experiences have been VERY disappointing. Both taking over 2 hours and the restaurant wasn't even busy. This last one will most likely be our last at this location at least. Waiter was friendly but not attentive. It took 35 minutes for our salads to arrive and we had to ask. At this point the restaurant was not even 25% full. Then another 30 minutes for our steaks to arrive. One was overcooked (requested med/rare) came med/well. Our sides arrived when we were more than half done with our steaks (with our friend still waiting for hers). Steaks, all filet's, were OK...not melt in your mouth as expected. We weren't offered coffee with dessert and when we paid with two gift cards, one gift card balance deduction was wrong, we waited and waited for someone to return so we could tell them, finally flagged another waiter who sent a manager and he was neither apologetic or friendly about the whole thing. Then had we had to get up and bring the revised tab to a register to finally have a corrected receipt. Our whole dining experience took 2 1/2 hours.
we go here every year for my wife's birthday. from the martini before dinner to the apps, wine and dinner everything was great. the service from Fitzy was great as well. we will be back next year
Always such a great experience !! Food, service and atmosphere A++
The noise level made this a place that would be a terrible choice for someone who wanted to have a conversation at dinner. We were seated at the window (great view) but near the bar. Between loud patrons and a louder bartender we were unable to have a normal volume conversation. The steaks were excellent but the overall experience was very poor. The background music only degrade the experience further. The higher prices and noise level will keep us away in the future.
Very disappointed. We had dinner there when they first opened several years ago and everything was excellent. The second time anf third time (most recently) was the total opposite. The wine arrived after our meal and only when I asked the waiter. Asked for the steak medium, received it well done. It was so noisy, I coiuld not hear the waiter describe the specials
Nice location overlooking the harbor with very attentive staff. Pricey but a great spot for a special occasion. The food never disappoints .
As always, an outstanding experience.
The service was fantastic, but the food was a disappointment. My steak was not cooked to temp and everyone was doused in pepper so I could not taste anything but pepper.
Waited an hour and 15 minutes. Ships glass in my wine. I turned offered no apology. Steak was very fatty. Waitress did her best to make up for it. Not worth the money
Food was good and service was excellent. Despite having a reservation, we had to wait an hour to be seated! The manager didn’t even offer to buy us a drink.
We had an 8pm reservation and were seated after 9pm
We had a reservation for 7:30. We weren’t seated until 8:30. They put us by a cold window behind the bar next to a group of 14 that never were seated. It was so loud you couldn’t hear a thing. We ordered scallops wrapped in bacon for an appetizer and they were stone cold. Horrific experience.
We had a reservation for 6:45 and did not seat for 45 minutes. They asked us to wait in the bar and did not indicate how long it would take. The bar was packed and the restaurant was so loud you couldn’t hear anything. Waiter did an incredible job and food was great. We have ate at the restaurant about a dozen times prior to this and had exceptional experiences so recognize it was an event that must have caused this but don't plan to return as it should have been managed better.
We enjoyed our meal as we knew we would. We have always enjoyed dining here. We appreciated the dessert they brought us since they knew it was my boyfriend's birthday from our Open Table booking. It was quiet, but expected for a Monday night in the middle of winter. It didn't bother us one bit.
Our dinner, start to finish, was perfect! The service was outstanding and the food was delicious. We were given just the right amount of attention without it becoming annoying. Our steaks were phenomenal and we had a wonderful evening.
Fantastic food in a great setting. I highly recommend Tim, the sommelier. He was very knowledgable and personable, and his recommendation was excellent.
Service and Food were great! Was a little noisy, tough to have a conversation at the table.
Very, very pricey and hard to find anything healthy on the menu. Many choices for sides, but most had heavy sauces and cheese.
The view was great. We had a comfortable booth, but even so it was hard to hear everyone at the table due to noise level. I doubt we will return!
always my favorite go to spot - service is fantastic!
I had an amazing experience at the Boston location , the server was awesome and the manager made sure to check up on us a couple of items to make sure we were comfortable. Thank you so much Boston team for making my first experience memorable.
Took 15 mins to be seated and there were plenty of tables open. Host was rude and not attentive and said they were setting the table for over 10 minutes. They put us by the bar seats against the window. The waiter, Jack, took so long that another server came to bring us water but wouldn’t take our drink orders BC she wasn’t serving us. It took over an hour for our food to come . I was here the night before with phenomenal service by Kimberly and I live in Seaport and frequent here often. I’ve never been treated like I didn’t belong. We came from traveling and just landed so we were dressed casual, but I come here almost monthly. My second drink took so long and we wanted the check because we had finished our meals for so long and by the time I was going to cancel the order jack came by with the drink and we asked for the check. He was very polite and nice but ran through the whole menu and didn’t let us just order. He assumed we had never been there. He was absent and it was hard to check in on things and get water refills. Something was very off last night because I usually have a phenomenal experience and my boyfriend has only been here once because he prefers other steakhouses and it was embarrassing because he was upset to have spent his Saturday from traveling here.
Upon being seated we had to witness the manager arguing with staff, causing us to feel uncomfortable. Asked for steak to be cooked medium well, came out medium rare, sent I back and it came back out still undercooked. Waiter offered to send it back which I refused given my wife and daughter had finished their meals. Potato side was no stone cold and no offer to replace. They ended up taking my steak off the bill without ever mentioning it, very passive aggressive. Spoke with the manager who couldn’t have cared less, informed him we would never return and we won’t!!
Very very slow over three hours . Waited for food for over three hours . Filet had a huge piece of hard gristle. Not worth the cost
Made a reservation and was seating almost immediately after we checked in. Server was good. Got some really great drink recommendations from the bar. Dinner was good. I had the steak medallions with house mashed and green beans. My dad had a bone in rib eye with the brussel sprouts and bacon. The steak and mashed were had too much pepper on them for my taste. The medallions and rib eye were cooked perfectly and our server had asked us to cut them before he left the table. We had a wonderful view of the water and buildings from our table.
We have had many meals at Del Frisco's including the location in Vegas. The service at the beginning was just horrible. although, thru dinner it did get better. a couple of the steaks had to go back 3 times in order to get the desired temperature. The quality was sub par, very unusual for this restaurant.
Just not a good experience. very unfortunate.
My wife and I have tried many steak house, but DelFrisco's Boston is the best. From the General Manager to the wait staff all around great service. They made us feel very comfortable. Can't beat the food and drinks.
Excellent service, we walked away talking about our night.
Thanks again for a great night..
View is great and steaks Ami g other things - are excellent - wine list extensive and expensive and they try hard to provide very good service - this was our third time and I’d go back again
The foie gras and bacon for appetizer are amazing. Me and my boyfriend ordered the Wagyu which is so large and we didn’t finish. But the steak was so perfect. Just on the point👌 The place is a bit noisy but since we are not on a special occasion so it’s fine to me.
It was excellent food. It is expensive but food was good service was excellent
Great service but wasn’t impressed with the food
It truly was special night, will leave it at that. Would and will go back to Del Frisco’s, enjoyed taking my special lady there for dinner!
Amazing experience and one of the best meals I have had
We were not treated very well. The servers were impersonal and very overly-scripted. The prices are outrageous and we were rushed through our meal. The servers push the most expensive options including sparkling water rather than tap. It was an over-rated and overly expensive evening. No personal warmth.
Our server was extremely awesome, as well as the food, but the hostess was extremely rude. She treated us like an inconvenience from the get go and acted like seating us was doing her a favor.
We had an amazing dinner at Del Frisco's for our anniversary! We had fantastic cocktails at the bar before our reservation (try the plum rosé and anejo old fashioned!). Our waiter, Michael, was super attentive and had excellent recommendations for us throughout the night. It was so sweet that they helped us celebrate the occasion with rose petals on the table! The view of the water and city lights and the ambience in the restaurant were perfect.
Kendra was amazing! This was such a memorable experience, it was the best anniversary and dinner we have ever had. Thank you so much for making it a special night for us!
