The restaurant was closed when we arrived for our reservation at 5:00pm on Sunday night for Dine Out. Completely unacceptable as Deepwater Micro Eatery is not only a restaurant participating in Dine Out (and they have both lunch and dinner menus available on the Dine Out site) but we had also made a reservation to dine with them. There was absolutely no explanation or note on the door saying why they were closed on a Sunday night. This ruined our night and was a long commute to go all the way to Deep Cove just to find the restaurant was closed. Myself and the rest of my party will not be going back. If they had to close for an emergency, then leave a note for customers to understand the situation and are not left confused, frustrated, and unhappy.

Hi Erica- Yes there was an emergency in the building and we were unexpectedly closed. We made every attempt to communicate this to all reservations. Our records indicate that we left you a voicemail at 1047am on the 19th to reschedule your party of two. In addition, there was a note left in the window next to the Closed sign and Dine Out decal and any further reservations were blocked on Opentable for that day. We apologize for the disappointment despite our efforts. ~ DW

We loved every minute. The feel, the food, the atmosphere. We sat at the bar and really enjoyed our burgers, one regular and one gluten free. The fries were great including the tiger fries and their sauces as well.

Smaller then expected but then they did say it is a micro eatery. Food and service was great. TV was a little distracting for such a small place. Other than that awesome evening.
