Deep Lagoon Seafood and Oyster House - Fort Meyers
Mark our server was outstanding. The food was hot coming out and delicious. The only problem was the noise from the kitchen. Next time we will request seating farther from the kitchen. We look forward to going to Deep Lagoon again.
Nice and great waiter Cole
Go to spot for a date night! We like to sit at the bar. Great food!
Always enjoy dinner.
James was a great, set the stage for a superb dining experience Food was better than expected. Will be back to see James and enjoy of another meal choice from the extensive menu
Excellent water front atmosphere, great food and service.
Alway's a great place to eat. Good food, great service.
The fact that Deep Lagoon has access to Raspberry Pt. Oysters, from PEI , brings me back time after time.
Broiled grouper was excellent. My server, Jodie, did an excellent job of pacing my meal. Tina Perez, floor manager, not only checked in with me to see how my meal was, but talked with me about the fine points of raising and marketing mushrooms. Very enjoyable evening.
The service was memorable. Thomas was very friendly and equally attentive. He was knowledgeable regarding the menu and made good recommendations. Everyone enjoyed their meal, and we will definitely return next time we visit the area.
Always a wonderful experience at Deep Lagoon. Great food, wine and service in an upscale casual setting.
We frequent this restaurant as we LOVE the fish.
Mark is a great waiter and makes good suggestions.
Our waiter, Abel was awesome. I dine out a lot and his openness and suggestions were "spot on". I am certainly going to ask for him when I return. This menu offers something for everyone and although I have never purchased anything from their fresh seafood market, I will! We started with the Tuna & Crab Rangoon for starters and both were incredible - the amount of crab they put in them was unexpected and the HUGE portion of Ahi was so fresh. Our waiter was so honest in stating he "loves" the Shrimp and Risotto, but because they were so busy, he suggested trying it a different time as the Chef would not have time to properly give the attention needed. So I got the stuffed Hogfish. I would have to say my green beans were a bit overcooked, but tasty just the same. The only down side to this dining establishment is it can bit a bit loud, so ask for a booth to the left, its a little better and not quite as "busy" feeling.
Food was delicious, service was spectacular. Mike was terrific!
First time there had a great server food was excellent
One of the consistently-best fine dining seafood restaurants in the region. The service is excellent, the views are beautiful,
and every dish we've had there is 5-star+.
The food and drinks were really good. Our server was very knowledgeable. Will certainly be back.
First time there and will be back often!! Great food and Cheryl (sp?) was just awesome!
The food was tasty and fresh. The shrimp basket was one of the favorite dishes, I would also recommend the Mahi Rachel dish too.
Good service too.
We did something I have never done on a vacation and ate at the same restaurant during the same trip. We ate here earlier in the week. Here are some things to consider:
-lobster cheese dip was very good the first time, not nearly as good Friday when we returned
-Grouper Thermador was great, Lobster Mac N Cheese great(sons ordered both times great pieces of Lobster in both)
-Would never order lobster bisque again - it was very spicy (and my wife like's spicy, but not a lobster bisque)
-Key Lime Pie and Upside down pineapple cake fantastic
-Drinks were better first time (much less busy, Monday night versus Friday)
-Servers were both good, first night's a little better
-Price for both dinners were almost identical, but felt much less value for what we paid our second time back
Great spot for local seafood. The had a wine special if you got two entrees, outstanding value. Enjoyed the food and wine immensely.
Some excellent hogfish I ate for the first time. Service was prompt and efficient.
Overall food was good. I had the seared tuna which was excellent. My wife had chicken Ceaser Salad with was good. I also had oysters...blue points which were very good. The key lime pie was promoted and it was ok. Overall a nice dining experience.
The food was beyond amazing. I’ve never had seafood so fresh!! Thomas went beyond his duties and really explained the menu fully and even made us his own cocktail sauce for the oysters. If my trip was longer I’d eat here at least five more times. Highly recommend!!!
Great staff. Very helpful to us “first timers”
Very nice service and our food was very good.
I will be back!
This was our second time here & we brought another couple with us.Everything was delicious -from the appetizer to the main course.
Love it here & highly recommend. Great service, decent prices & great food quality. The time from ordering until we got everything was also very fast!!
Will be back!!
Our waiter was excellent!
Also the valet person was a very pleasant young man.
The swordfish special and the hogfish were tasty. The green beans were over cooked (usually very good), and the cocktails were just fine. The waiter was a young man that did a fine job.
Great food and service. Noisy but fun! Will go back
Parking was slightly an issue
First time here. We had a hard time choosing what to eat it all looked so good. So we decided that we will have to return many times to try them all.
Great service, everything was delicious, no complaints!
Service was amazing. I think our server was Stacy
Great service, drinks were a bit strong, but food was good!
Way over priced. Sounds good but lacking flavor.
My husband’s birthday. It was a great time. Food was wonderful and our server was very friendly!
Everything was great! We will be back, as always!
Average seafood fare in comparison to our expectations. Not bad, but just not stellar. The seafood tower was not that fresh, mussels, clams and lobster were bland. Tuna, crab and oysters were good but not special.
Fresh fish entrees were good price, but again not special- supermarket quality in our opinion. An average weeknight out when we were in the mood for to die for fresh seafood.
Great great great
Food was just ok. Crab legs were small and flavorless. For the price I thought it was just ok.
