                                                                                                    Would recommend Deep Blue at the end of the pier as an enjoyable and rather unusual dining experience. Good choice of dishes, but limited bar selection of beers and lagers, particularly ales, other than the single IPA available. Parking, though plentiful out of season and nearby, is however relatively expensive. Social distancing measures in place are entirely appropriate and readily acceptable.

                                                                                                    We have been many times past few years always very excellent experience only downside Past two visits past few week chips are just not as hot as they used to be everything else Was fantastic staff are outstanding very helpful and polite and professional.We will always be back regularly as holds wonderful memories and good Times. Once again thank you to all your wonderful staff.

Music was quite loud when we got there but asked politely if They could turn it down and theybwillingly obliged. Been twice in last month and booked again for October. You will not be disappointed

                                                                                                    Don't be put off by the slot machines and funfair on the pier. Deep Blue is a lovely oasis in the middle of the pier. Social distancing has been established with one way markings around the restaurant and the procedures are explained to guests on arrival. Table spacing is good and, on a nice day, there are plenty of outside tables if you prefer. Menus are provided at the table and you order food and drink at the bar. You are provided with cutlery and condiments, sauces etc with your drinks. Your food order is brought to your table. The quality of the fish and chips here is outstanding and, unless you have a large appetite, the regular cod and chips is a good sized meal for most. Other food options are on offer. Drinks are reasonably priced. This is a light and airy restaurant with friendly staff who keep their distance so as to make you feel comfortable in Covid times. The toilets are regularly cleaned and have been adapted to be Covid compliant. Recommended.
