Crispy roasted red potatoes served with spicy cream
Seared beautifully and served over quinoa, charred carrots, toasted seed dressing, herbs, and a dollop of greek yogurt
Prime 16oz ribeye steak, reverse seared with a crispy crust, topped with compound butter and served with roasted potatoes
Food was excellent! Can wine outstanding as my wife approved and is very picky! Brooke is an excellent server and host! One of our new favorite restaurants!
At 5:30 pm reservation they were out of so many items and no we are sorry just more matter of fact. Out of certain meals, specialty drinks etc. The AC was on full blast and the door was open and it was so chilly. Asked if they could turn it down and was just told NO even though the 6 of us had to wear our coats the entire meal and so was the others in the restaurant. So over all not great!
We were there early afternoon on a Saturday, so missed the crowd and sat outside. The food was great across the board - had garlic bread and roast potatoes for appetizers, and the chicken breast and crispy thighs for entrees (with the latter being especially good). Also was served the best cabernet I've had in a while. This is a relatively small place with a finite number of tables, but it should be standing room only based on the food.
We dined outdoor on the sidewalk which was fine, but you missed the ability to see the open kitchen and be a part of the buzz inside. Of course we ordered the delicious house baked bread - wish it had come with a serrated knife so we didn't have to manhandle it to try and divide it by 4. The warmed olives were a great appetizer and very flavorful with rosemary and feta. Two of our party had the marinated chicken breast for which they gave great reports; I tried the corn salad underneath which was crisp and delicious. I had the salmon which was a little overcooked; the carrots and couscous with coriander made up for that. Our 4th dining companion had the pork chop with what looked to be a densely packed slab of scalloped potatoes. He ate every bit. We skipped desserts and brought our own wine for a $20 corkage. Service was brisk and efficient, not overly personable. Good dinner overall and I will be back to try some of the other dishes.
Superb good and cocktails.
Great local spot with good service. Food and cocktails were tasty and unique. Definitely will be back and bring friends.
Amazing food, desserts to die for, and the best hand-crafted cocktails in the Conejo Valley! Chef Kristin always has nice surprises on the specials menu, and Paul’s cocktails are second to none.
Service quite slow, but friendly
Food and cocktails excellent
Cramped quarters & even though we were inside, it was freezing cold because the door was open.
Will look forward to new location
Superb cocktail menu, delicious food.
Everything was delicious and our party of 6 loved it. Also enjoyed meeting the chef.
One note: the menu states that a service charge is added for parties of 6 or more, but it wasn't added- make sure you check so you don't stiff the staff.
This was our first time here. We shared the Burrata appetizer. I had the flounder special and my husband had the ribs… both nice size portions and delicious. The wine was easy drinking. Our server was attentive and friendly. We will be back.
Amazing food and drinks! Best in westlake!
Food is delicious, service needs some improvement when they are busy. But overall great experience.
The food and service are exceptional.
Cozy, local restaurant. Owner and Breanna were fun, helpful and makes you feel like you’re in a cafe in Italy. Drinks were delicious. A little pricey but worth supporting a local small business. This will be a regular spot for us.
Loved, loved, loved. This is an awesome find in the Conejo Valley. Lovely interior, tasty food, good wine. And - the creme brûlée desert was TO DIE FOR. Great for a nice dinner, great for a date, great for company. Would give six stars if possible.
Don't think, just go
Drinks are delicious
food is melt in your mouth yummy!!
This was our first time. The food was excellent and the service was great.
Everything we were served from the amazing craft cocktails to the warmed green olives with rosemary, the beet salad and perfectly cooked rib eye with roasted potatoes were absolutely delicious!!! We cant wait to come back for another fantastic meal.
Delicious food and drinks! Great service, nice outdoor seating.
Food and drink, whether wine or cocktails, are always fantastic. Ribs are phenomenal. Keep your eyes on the specials, too. Pork Chop is always a hit out of the park.
Food was outstanding.
Amazing food and service! The wine and cocktails are fantastic too. Always a great time at this little gem.
One of our best dining experiences. It's a modest place tucked away, but if you're in the mood for ribeye, this is definitely the place for the best. Service was impeccable and friendly. Lemonade was also stellar. Highly recommended.
Pleasantly surprised. While the restaurant is on the smaller side we did enjoy eating on the patio. The menu was creative and the food delicious. Will definitely go back for more!
Foods always exceptional. Love the expanded outdoor dining. Please keep that aspect of the experience! Service is great
Service was horrible. Steak was ordered medium and was completely over cooked actually burnt on the outside. We were seated on the sidewalk with one of the chairs close to the curb. One false move and would have ended up on my butt on a parking space. Waitress was horrible. Would not go back and would not recommend. Owner came abs asked us how everything was at the end of our meal but we were in a hurry to get out to our next destination.
This was the first time we visited Decker Kitchen. The servers were really "on it" and the food was good. We tried the Burrata and Swordfish. Since we were sitting on a sidewalk next to parking lot, not the best ambiance....but the owner said they are moving to a new, larger location.
Delicious meal. Can’t wait to come back.. loved the wine too.
ALWAYS AMAZING! Graham is just a peach; He really knows his customers and always makes a point to stop by and say hi. The food is always out of this world as well. We usually get the specials but opted for the steak this time, which was just steak and potatoes (cubed, roasted/sauteed yukon gold) but it was perfection. My husband literally said, "I've eaten at a lot of nice steak restaurants and this is probably the best steak that I've ever had." This place is no joke. We ALWAYS get the feta mousse toast and I'm always blown away with how amazing every single element is - like, WHERE do you ALWAYS get these amazing tomatoes? All year 'round. Seriously. His wine list is perfection, and he brought on the Oak and Iron guy to create his mixed drinks too. Definitely our absolute favorite place to eat in the Conejo Valley. Reminds me of the small, independent restaurants from San Francisco: warm, inviting, farm to table, curated, rotating dishes, and you just feel like family when you're there. *Don't forget that you can snag loaves of bread and bottles of wine to go to. Much love to Graham!
Crowded. Only 2 waiters so slow service but very courteous. Food was great.
Heard they will be moving to a bigger spot so hoping that is true. This restaurant definitely needs a larger space to accommodate the growing popularity.
Regardless it’s a nice evening out but you’ll be sitting in a cramped room or outside in front of parking spaces so beware
It took a long time for our drinks and food although the drinks and food are outstanding!
Amazing food & the most friendly service. Do not miss this gem!
Food and service is top notch. Going to be harder to get reservation once it gets colder outside.
My food was over cooked . The drinks are good .
Superb cocktails menu, limited food menu, but everything was delicious.
The beats were rather tasteless, but the dill was a good adder. The wine and steak were excellent. So a little more and they would have had 5/5 for food. Service was a bummer that they were missing some help. They could have used another person on the tables.
Amazing food, drinks, and atmosphere!
Can't begin to say how much I enjoyed every aspect of this place - especially the amazing food. The owner stopped by the tabl;e to chat as well - really nice guy. Highly recommended.
Perfect very nice ambiance , great goof even too much
