Brunch staff as rude, no greeting Lory had an attitude first time experiencing that in Hawaii. Food was overpriced and cold ordered the islander drink I couldn’t use the straw it wasn’t blended properly and I was chewing through large pieces of ice. It was my husband’s birthday. So it was disappointing to say the least and a waste of time and money

1st the hostess. Service was Terrible. We got to our reservation a 1/2 hour early. We got seated. Got menus. 15 mins later no body had served us or got us drinks. Then when someone finally came over to our table she took one of the chairs from our table and moved it to another table. We finally just got up and left.

My Aunt invited me for brunch earlier today. The hostess Lori was very friendly; she greeted us right away. And our waiter Jordan was awesome. He brought our orders quite fast; to top that he assisted us to move to a nearby table per my aunt’s request due to raining. He asked someone to clean the table and moved us. We enjoyed our brunch so much while listening to a live music (don’t know the singer…he looked familiar). Mahalo nui loa the Deck. Definitely we’ll be back🤙❤️

I have been to the Deck many times and it used to be one of my favorite restaurants to bring people to when they visit… Unfortunately tonight we did not have a good experience. The waitress forgot to put in our order and about 40 minutes after ordering she came and let us know her mistake…a bummer & frustrating, but we appreciated her honesty so we got over it quickly! Well after waiting about 25 more minutes for our food we finally get it (at the same time as a group of 10 that ordered after she informed us of her mistake) and all of it is cold other than the 2 main proteins. After the server informed us that she felt the manager should discount our meals some more, we waited a very long time for the manager came over and apologize and just offer us a dessert. We had been there 2 hrs at this point and had seen multiple parties bigger than us come after us, order and leave so we were just ready to leave. To be honest this was very frustrating and disappointing as I am a frequent customer and holding an event there later this summer. They did end up discounting the bill some, but not even enough to cover the 2 appetizers. I am hoping that this was a fluke of an evening but this now makes me nervous for my upcoming event I will be hosting there.

We went for happy hour and the view was the only thing worth going there for ! The calamari was just bread crumbs. The mai tai’s were not good we ended up not drinking them and just ordering beers.

Location good...away from crowds of Waikiki. Parking convenient at zoo. Scenery beautiful with Diamond Head. Didn't like birds darting amongst eating tables. I ordered eggs florentine. Poached eggs had uncooked runny whites...terrible. Other diner had the avocado toast. ..that looked good.
