Get the mussels - best I have ever had (outside of Belgium)! Service was excellent. Great menu selection compared to other restaurants near them.
Beautiful space, delicious food, and attentive service. Risotto was slightly over-salted but quite good. Other dishes and side dishes were nicely prepared and well presented. My biggest complaint is the stingy wine pours. Otherwise, we enjoyed our evening and would return.
Have been here several times. The kitchen is consistently great, using local seasonal ingredients with inventive composition and tastes. We happened to be there on Thursday for half off wines so we were able to take advantage of the well crafted wine list. Superior service as always
Overall it was a good experience. The only let down was that the mussels we received were less than fresh. A real disappointment as the flavor of the dish itself was amazing. Cocktails were delicious and steak was very nicely cooked. Next time I’ll try to save room for dessert.
lots of heavy sauces and butter, mussels in wine sauce was good, everything else overpriced and mediocre
Amazing food & atmosphere. The charming patio & basement bar were a plus!!
Treated out of town guests to the best restaurant in Louisville
Great meal. Like the look and feel. Food was very good. I had salmon and my wife and guests all had a pasta. All enjoyed it.
Great place for dinner in NuLu. Food, service and ambiance all great!
Everyone enjoyed their meal, however my pork chop was disappointing.
Delicious food! Butternut squash risotto was amazing. Focaccia was great as always.
Lovely night at Decca. Wonderful food and great service.
We chose Decca on the recommendation of a local friend - we were in town just for one night. The patio was beautiful, with a bonfire going, and we were seated as soon as we arrived. The server was great and in fact all seemed perfect - until we tried to cut into the pork chop and it was totally raw inside. As was the ribeye. And while the manager eventually came and apologized and took both away, our dinner overall was disrupted and and half of us finished at that point. Very frustrating that the kitchen was so incompetent and the manager so slow to respond. The rest of the food was just ok. I’d go back for drinks outside, but not dinner.
Delicious meal with excellent service!!!
Nice venue, great staff and good food. Each dish were well prepared and tasty but I didn’t encounter a dish that stood out. I liked it enough that I’ll try again
A friend from home recommended Decca and we were not disappointed. Our first impression came from the fire pit lit garden with gurgling water feature by the entrance. . We knew this was gong to be a special dining experience! Our server was skillful, knowledgeable and attentive and her desert recommendations were spot on. We shared several starters (mussels and roasted carrots) and enjoyed pasta small plates.
We ordered the steak tartare, chicken dish as well as pork chop and everything was way over salted. The tartare was so salty we couldn’t eat it. We love decca and it must have been a rare situation that evening.
Great ambiance and service. Our waitress was very sweet and gave very good recommendations.
Loved our anniversary dinner there! Thanks for making it special. Also that green curry mussels dish was AMAZiNG! Still thinking about it ...
Great place and the food was delicious! The Beef Tartare was my favorite, though I feel the beef portion was on the small side. Would definitely return
In town to explore Kentucky. We enjoyed every bit of our time at Decca.
Very inconsistent. Some dishes were very good, but some really were not. Our grilled Napa cabbage starter was so salty and so acidic that it was downright bracing and difficult to get through. While the lamb papperdelle was very good. Also, the flavors on the menu were a bit all over the place. Nothing about it felt cohesive. Finally, wait times between courses were very long, even though it was anything but crowded (there were only 3 other tables dining with us on a Thursday night). We had a nice time, but overall it wasn't quite the dining experience we hoped for.
This was an excellent venue for a business dinner. Our guest from Montreal was impressed with the total experience. The chicken and Salmon were nothing short of amazing.
Best food we've had in 2019. The Green Curry Mussels and the Pork Rib Chop were outstanding. Great bourbon selection with great cocktails.
Food was tasty, we sat outside which was beautiful
Wonderful food and great atmosphere! Was a little pricey, but very nice.
Sat outside. The food and service was excellent. Definitely going back the next time I’m in Louisville.
The food was superb. However the linguini was a tad on the salty side. Not enough to mention at the table but enough to mention on OpenTable
Great food and service. Loved the outside patio
Decca is one of our "go to" places for special family events. Their service is attentive without being overbearing. The food quality is always wonderful and the presentation takes them over the top. We'll be back!
Great food, drinks and service. A creative menu executed well.
The bar downstairs was delightful and seemed like a time warp to days gone by.
The atmosphere in the courtyard is just right. Fried green tomatoes and risotto are both delicious. Bigger portions than I expected, so I had lunch for the next day as well. The Chateauneuf-du-Pape that the sommelier recommended was incredible, and it was half-price wine night. Service was attentive but not overbearing. Excellent dining experience.
Appetizers, entrees sides and wine all top notch. Seated quickly and served promptly. Water with no ice was always refilled quickly, pet peeve.
Good food, good locally sourced raw materials and simple yet elegant presentation. Outdoor seating very beautiful. In a hip neighborhood. Menu needs a little more variety and banquete seating is very uncomfortable.
Always so stellar; truly on of my absolute favorites!
Delicious food. Extremely knowledgeable about gluten free. Handled our changes in numbers dining very graciously. Would definitely return.
The food and service were fantastic ! We were in town for vacation and were thrilled to have discovered Decca
Dinner on the patio was magical.
We had a beautiful evening to sit out on the patio. We had the salmon that was outstanding. The sugar snap peas were phenomenal. Had a nice spicy kick to them. We had a French Pinot at half price that was delicious. Server was great. We truly enjoyed the evening. We will be back.
