Great food and service in an amazing environment. Excellent spot for a special occasion or date night.
Best restaurant we visited this weekend! I can't recommend Decca enough. We were celebrating our 13th anniversary with friends and they brought us all complimentary champagne and a dessert. The mussels were the best I've ever had. Seriously good!
Decca’s menu was original and start to finish our meal was absolutely delicious. May just be a new favorite!
Very good food. Awesome music. Great service. But I was 110% deceived! I looked at the menu the entire week before, evaluating what my girlfriend and I should get. When we arrive on Valentine’s Day, they give us a set menu that’s a flat $85 per person!!!!!! Not worth the money!!! We were not offered the menu I had been looking at the entire week prior online. I dropped $300 when I only intended on spending half that! Luckily I could afford it, but Jesus Christ I’m in my mid 20s!
we were at Decca on Valentine's Day and were very disappointed in the evening and the food.
We didn’t know that but was a preplanned menu. Waiter was a little rude. Food was good but overpriced.
Excellent food and service. Best steak ever! Ashley is running a great operation.
Valentines date. No where on open table or website did they advertise the fixed menu choices. That was not a big deal but thought it could be advertised since there was only two options for each course. My wife and I choose opposite menu items for each course so we could try each dish. The salad was amazing. The fresh in season mushroom popes toast was superb. Salmon and steak spot on. We didn’t try the pasta option because of the price $25 just to add the small pasta plate to the $85 three course meal that was the base option... for $85 I would think the pasta option to make it a 4 course meal would be included. Or the other option I think would be a compromise would be include the pasta but give a choice of your 3rd course either as an app or the desert. That said the desert was majorly lacking in this meal. Maybe it was just an off night for the desert choices but I wouldn’t recommend this place if your looking for an over the top desert experience. All other meal items met that over the top expectation.
We visit at least every 3 months and absolutely NEVER dissapointed. The only thing better than the service is the food. As I said to my wife this weekend, Decca of today is the 610 Magnolia of the early 2000's.
Everything about Decca was amazing. From the appetizer all the way to dessert the food was phenomenal. Our waiter was wonderful as well. Would recommend to anyone.
Waiter was excellent. Great wine and beer. Bread was great. Salad was excellent. Entrees: chicken was amazing! Waiter suggested. Ribeye was underwhelming. Had to send back to be cooked a little bit longer for preference. Not that big of deal. The cut just wasn’t great. Especially for the price. Butternut squash was excellent. Overall, a very good experience.
Had a late dinner there on a winter-y Friday night. The dining room is bright and minimalist without being sterile. Excellent cocktail/wine offerings at reasonable prices. We shared the Buttermilk Ricotta Toast and the Bibb Lettuce Salad as starters and both were excellent. I had the Crispy Salmon, which was quite fresh and tasty, although the fish portion was rather small for the price. My dining companion had the Shrimp La Plancha, which was also very fresh and quite delicious; a better portion size than the salmon. No room for dessert! The server was attentive and knowledgeable. Definitely a great choice in a city with tons of good restaurants.
My husband and I dined here while visiting Louisville from out of town, food was very good and service was excellent. Definitely would recommend to others and return when we visit Louisville next.
We Haven’t been to Decca in a long time, so I didn’t know what to expect. It was wonderful in all aspects - food, service, ambiance. Loved upstairs dining room, and they were very kind to accommodate change in number of our party. We won’t let so much time lapse before we return again!
Our server was outstanding. I wish I could say that about the food! The expensive pork chop was all fat! The Brussel sprouts were good, but I have had better.
Great food & atmosphere
The kale and brussels sprout salad was probably one of the best salads I’ve ever had in the city. I really enjoyed the salmon dish, but I would have liked for the temperature to be slightly warmer when it was served. And the dessert was very good. I loved the cocktails.
Fab meal. Brussel sprout kale salad is to die for.
Amazing food! My favorite from my experience were the mussels and the cilantro steak. Seriously, top-notch experience all around.
This...is a great restaurant. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding.
Absolutely outstanding! Food was excellent and atmosphere was relaxing.
Delicious food and superior service. Just was seated to close to another table, so it felt like we were part of their dinner. Repetitive music was a bit anxiety provoking. Still, this is one of our favorite places and we will be back. Love the basement bar.
Cool place, good food, awesome cellar bar!
Great food, wonderful cocktails and great service. Everyone loved everything we ate. Our server helped everyone with their various food needs, and it was all perfect.
Top notch all the way. Staff is very service oriented. Atmosphere is perfect for date night, a business meeting or a casual group of friends. The menu changes often and is full of flavor. Plenty of veggie options. Homemade pastas are always delicious. I could go on and on, Favorite restaurant of ours for the past five years. Great cellar bar for enjoying drinks and tasty bar bites.
Our food was delightful, it was the best pork chop I've ever had in my life. It was so good that I didn't even pause to take a picture of anything. How unlike me.
Love the food it was delicious love the service it was exemplary as always they really take care of the customers
Decca continues to excel and nail everything aspect of the finer-dining experience in Louisville. Joel and I were both there just two weeks ago celebrating the holiday season. We’ve never had a bad experience on any aspect and will continue to frequent. New Years Eve was great, the food and wine pairings were fantastic, and the live jazz band downstairs in The Cellar was the capper to a great night. It was all a perfect way to ring in 2020. Bravo Decca!
We had a group of 11, and the food and service was great. The servers were present, but not enough to get in the way and just enough to fulfill our needs. The atmosphere was exactly what we wanted for New Year's Eve.
I was with a group of 8 on New Years Eve. Fixed menu with 2 choices of entrees. Cost was $85.00 per person. Waiter always missed one persons salad or drink. He never checked back. One entree sent back because of cold food. My steak was ordered medium rare and received rare. Other food was also delivered cold. Reported this to waiter who argued with us making excuses. Very unhappy with the experience. If you only have 2 entrees, surely they could all be prepared at the proper temperature.
Impeccable service from the hostess, bartender and wait staff! Amazing White Bordeaux (Graves Blanc) by the glass. Food was delicious. Be sure to get there early to grab a drink at the little Speakeasy downstairs
First time visit there. Interior design is impressive. Out server was knowledgeable about the drink and food items, and her attention to our needs was outstanding. I will definitely seek an opportunity to return.
Food service was very slow. Other tables were seated & left before we were able to eat. Food was good, but not spectacular.
The food was actually very good. Once we got it. The restaurant was not overly busy, but it took an hour and twenty minutes from the time we ordered to when it was delivered to the table. 7:40-9:00 pm. I would not go back.
Always a good meal at Decca’s! Started with a Sazerac, had the risotto and shrimp a la plancha, both delicious and well prepared. Cabbage and Brussels Sprouts for the table along with sweet potato was great. Service outstanding as usual. Have been here a number of times and always leave feeling satisfied! Highly recommended!
Food was outstanding - we had the Brussel sprouts and cabbage as well as the grilled ceased! My husband had the pork chop and he said it was one of the best he has ever had! Our server was friendly, attentive and knowledge!
Everything was perfect from service, food and wine. The complimentary dishes sent out was a really special touch. Thank you!!!
