Have been going to this restaurant for many years and always enjoy the dining experience received.

All of the food was really tasty and the restaurant had no problem with splitting a salad and a dessert.

This was possibly the longest dining experience I’ve ever had. We made a reservation for our party of 8 for 7:15 on a Saturday night. We arrived on time and were seated immediately. It was 25 minutes before we placed our drink order, we were not provided with menus until 35 minutes and were told by our waiter that they were short on menus.

Dinner arrived an hour and 30 minutes after we first sat down and when all was said and done and we had paid the check we had been there just under 3 hours.

The staff was nice and the restaurant was very crowded but 3 hours is a record for me. The food was tremendous however and the pricing reasonable for the high quality of food.

A family favorite for years - this restaurant is always quiet and the food delicious.

Service was terrible and there were only two tables of diners. We had to flag down servers to get any help and then they were unpleasant. Food tasteless and not inexpensive. Last time going there—have tried several times thinking it was an off night.

We Love DeCarlo's. The service and food are always good. I had 2 specials: tomato, avocado and burrata salad, followed by the swordfish. My husband had a half order of carbonara to begin (always wonderful) and then the filet oscar. Everything was superb!

A personal favorite...NEVER FAILS to satisfy! We enjoyed the Lobster salad and the pasta is always great.

We had a very nice dining experience. The servers were attentive and provided excellent service. Food was authentic and very good.

This restaurant is consistently good and gets even better the more often you go. The staff learn your preferences and can make suggestions that enhance the meal. I’ve been going here for almost 40 years and have rarely been disappointed.

Food and service are excellent! And, you don't have to drive downtown after work to get a fantastic meal.

We go regularly to DeCarlo's because they cook some of the best fish in town. It is a good place to have a good dinner and a conversation. Despite development rumors, the restaurant is alive and well and hopefully diners will keep it that way for many years.

This neighborhood gem always has consistently good food, excellent wine selection and good service, and you can have a quiet, relaxing conversation without interruption or noisy distractions. Thanks to the owner and staff for their excellent service over many years.

I have been going there for decades and it never disappoints. On the most recent event, it was cold and raining outside, but inside it was quiet, comfortable and inviting. The room is dignified and the tables are far enough apart that you don’t have to talk over the table next to you. Let’s hear it too for real white linen table cloths that muffle the clanks of plates or silverware. The waiters are friendly and reserved; one doesn’t have to endure some millennial asking “ Hey, how are you guys tonight?”

The food is classic Italian. They have a wide selection of meat, seafood and pasta choices. Either the mussels or the artichoke are great appetizers. My favorite pasta dish - pasta with white wine and clams, and I like all of their seafood main courses.

There is a wide selection of desserts and after dinner drinks.

The dining is unhurried and you really have a chance to enjoy the meal and company.

Food not as good as in the past. Service was fine. This is a neighborhood restaurant. Good for low key dinner.

DeCarlo's is always wonderful for great food and service and an atmosphere that allows for easy conversation. Love it!!!

We eat there often but the soft shell crabs were not very good this time.........we took out of town friends because it is one of the few quiet places in town.

You can depend on DeCarlo's for great food, reasonable prices, and a highly-attentive waitstaff. Lucy DeCarlo, the owner, must treat her employees well because I have enjoyed being served by many of the same staff over the decades that I've been a patron. Some waiters (shout out for Israel!) even know what I want before I tell them! Parking is free and easy both on the street and in an adjacent lot and garage. Ms. DeCarlo often circles through the restaurant to greet her many patrons/friends and to ensure that they are enjoying themselves and their meals. Bravo!

We love this restaurant. The staff is always so welcoming; the service is always personal and attentive; and it is QUIET - you can actually hold a conversation with your table mates without raising your voice at all. Favorite menu items = Scaloppini di Salmon, Vitello alla DeCarlo’s, Agnolotti allaCrema, Veal and Spinach Lasagna ... and for dessert, my favorite = Tartufo Limoncello. And don't forget to consider the daily specials = always delicious.

Service was VERY slow and not pleasant. Simple caprese salad when tomatoes are definitely IN season was not good. This is a hard dish to mess up but they did it. Pretty sure something has changed in this place - and it's not for the better.

everyone is always pleasant, parking is easy, food is goo and one can hear the people with whom he/she came.

DeCarlo's is one of our favorite restaurants. What's not to like? It has great food and great service. We'll be back.

Always nice and comfortable

De CArlo's restaurant was a lovely place for our birthday celebration. The excellent food, outstanding service and lovely ambiance fostered a wonderful get together and a thoroughly enjoyable evening.

Personable staff - great food - love the carbonara!!!

The outdoor patio is beautiful and quiet (except when an occasional truck unloads supplies at a nearby establishment). The salads are generous. The desserts are excellent - best pistachio gelato I’ve ever had, and the lemoncello ice cream was so light & delicious!

We go because the food is OK and the noise level outside is great. The service sure could be improved, but it's not a it's not a show-stopper. The key is eating outside.

I had the scallops wrapped in prosciutto. Excellent!!

Our group of 12 appreciated the attentive service, good meals, and the separate meeting/dining space. We're certain to return.

WE often go to De Carlo's for lunch or dinner. The food is excellent and the service is very good too. It's truly a neighborhood gem.
