Our ethos of Paddock to Plate, is just that! – A concept that began on a Tipperary farm, progressed to a butcher shop and has now journeyed one step further to become Deansgrove Steakhouse.

Fiona O’Dwyer is a craft butcher for over 10 years.
Growing up, sitting around the family table, where food was always
the topic of conversation, has allowed her to develop a genuine appreciation for good, honest, simple produce. Fiona’s father Martin taught her the art of butchery, instilling in her a great understanding of the true craft that it is.

“Our cattle are free to roam through rich, nutritious, grassland. It’s this simplistic existence that gives our beef its unmistakable great taste. We dry age our Steaks for 35 days in purpose built cold chambers, where nothing extra is added, just time. Very ordinary meal with very small portions of a basic menu. Deserts vastly overpriced at 8.50. Only consolation was our waitress who was extremely pleasant

Had email confirmation of booking but was turned away because of private function. Very disappointed. Will never go back. They blamed the OpenTable app.

Covid policy disgraceful, brought through bar to restaurant and place packed, no masks, people everywhere, no distancing. Had we known this we would not have attended. DJ in bar, very loud, we could not have a conversation during dinner. Food was nice but overall disappointing, lovely setting and has potential but personally would not return.

Everything was perfect food was amazing quality and service was very good really nice place for few drinks and a nice meal highly recommend it and Will definitely be back.

Richard Nolan who was working that night was brilliant, he makes sure all his guests are being looked after , food was lovely and the staff were excellent, I’d go there every week if I could and would recommend it too anyone
