Food seemed either a hit or miss for us. The bread they gave the table was amazing. We ordered the crudo trio which was great but small and the lobster bisque. The bisque wasn’t amazing. You get one small piece of lobster and the flavor tasted very shellfish stock-y not creamy and lots of complex flavors like other places have. Honestly probably towards the bottom of the list of best lobster bisques you can have in charlotte. For mains my partner got a filet queens style, it was amazing both the steak and lobster was perfectly cooked. I ordered the short rib gnocchi which tasted great but the short ribs I don’t think were short ribs. They were tough chewy big chunks of meat that did not fall apart like short ribs should. Was slightly disappointed in the texture of the meat but overall the dish tasted wonderful. The service was great everyone very friendly and everyone from the bussers to the manager came over to check on us. Will definitely come back I think you just have to be careful what you order.

Dean’s restaurant was an amazing experience filled with a great, friendly, knowledgeable staff and amazing food. Superior customer service. Definitely coming back again from Virginia to enjoy.

We went to celebrate my Husband’s first Father’s Day. His steak was sent back twice because it was under cooked. My steak was sent back once because it was under cooked. They gave us a “free” lobster Mac and cheese to make up for our dining experience. For an almost $500 meal including tip, the overall experience was unacceptable. Dean’s can definitely do better. I wish my husband had a better experience.

Service doesn’t match the higher priced menu. Service was very slow. For the price, I wouldn’t dine here again.

One of the best steaks I’ve ever had. The service was excellent. The restaurant was extremely loud and we did not enjoy our appetizer, prawns, or any of the sides. The potato was ok, the spinach did not taste good nor did the mushrooms.

It a very high end Italian steak house. The food was great and cooked to perfection. My only complaint was that we ordered the steak Oscar . The cost was 74 dollars for and eight ounce filet and crab. They put about a less than 2 tablespoons of a crabby cheese mixture accompanying the steak. I believe this was overpriced. My friend ordered the the pork chop which was delicious and a better value. The service was great. Very nice overall
