   I had one of the best steaks of my life at Deans! Don’t sleep on the 22oz bone in ribeye. Deans does steaks just the way I like them- kinda charred on the outside but still medium rare in the middle (I’m sure if you order it differently it will also be delicious). Grilled shrimp 🦐 was a surprise- I wasn’t expecting ginormous whole shrimp with the heads on. DO NOT BE AFRAID- they are worth it. Todd, our server, was attentive without being overbearing, and chef Brandon came by to say hello and introduced me to other kitchen staff because I was so impressed! Will definitely go back the next time we’re visiting Charlotte.

   Superior service, split a steak and salad and the restaurant took it upon themselves to serve it in two different plates already separated at presentation, great touch loved it.

   We were first time Dean's patrons who for the most part enjoyed our 26th anniversary dinner. Food was very good, service was superior -- until the dessert course when we were told "the kitchen was backed up" which significantly delayed service. Not a good finish to an otherwise enjoyable dining experience.

   Pretty disappointing given the price point. Caesar salad was really heavy in dressing. Steak was pretty good but bolognese was not. Sat outside and there were no fans near our table so it was very hot. Would not go again.

    Not sure what happened the night we were there but everything was bad. Food was cold and wrong, service was slow, waited an hour for our entree after our appetizer. Not a good experience at all. Really disappointed.
