Welcome to Dean Martin's Lanning's, a fine dining steak & seafood experience. We offer five star, tuxedo dinner service & have a lounge area that features specialty cocktails, live music, and more. Our wine menu was awarded the Award of Excellence by Wine Spectator in 2022, and we were voted locally as the best Fine Dining, Steak, Seafood, and more in Akron, Ohio. Helmed by a spectacular view of Yellow Creek, our restaurant offers a truly unique take on what fine dining means today. Why go downtown when you can stay in town?

Always a great time! We celebrated my parents birthdays…. They made my parents feel special and really helped create a memorable experience for the group. Food is always amazing!!!

We were celebrating a birthday. The staff made sure the birthday girl felt special. They have a great menu—seafood & steak. We had a large party, we tried all different meals. Everything was fantastic!! The steaks were cooked perfectly. The seafood was delicious. The wait staff was attentive and awesome! The atmosphere was so cool! It’s like a 1950’s place my parents would have gone to. The owner stops by every table to talk with everyone. Great guy! Highly recommended!!!!

We chose Lannings to celebrate our wedding anniversary. It was FANTASTIC! From the moment we arrived until we left there was not one single disappointment. Our wait staff was superb. Our wine, appetizers and dinner were amazing. I am a steak "perfectionist" and this was the best steak I have had anywhere. Cooked to perfection! They surprised us with an anniversary dessert on the house. The owner stopped by and we had a great conversation. He loves his job and you can tell. Our waiter, Patrick was 5 star! Thank you Lannings for making our evening so special. We will be back soon.

Food and service were excellent. Savannah took great care of our table. The only complaint was one steak was over cooked. Ordered Medium Rare+, but came out closer to Medium Well. With that being said, in all the times we’ve ever been there, this is the first time we’ve ever had a steak not come out to the proper temperature. Food is always very good.

Wonderful experience again. Our second time going as a family. Both times a dry aged steak was ordered and was worth the market price! Also the second time ordering seafood from the starters and an entrée and even though different seafoods each visit, it was all so delicious. Growing up in New England, it is hard to find good seafood in Ohio, but Dean Martin's Lanning's prepares and delivers a 10. Staff is attentive and the dining room is equally relaxing as it is beautiful.

The service here is reliably impeccable. The food is well prepared, but a bit pricey. The grilled octopus appetizer was a lofty $35, whereas other restaurants typically charge around $22.

Our Wagyu filets were delicious along with the lobster bisque, escargot and chocolate mousse. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was just lovely. We did not get to enjoy the music in the bar but it looked and sounded wonderful

One of the best experiences we’ve had in a long time. Fabulous upscale restaurant with amazing service, wonderful food and personable chefs. We really enjoyed our evening and appreciate the entire staff that factored into our amazing evening.
