Welcome to Dean Martin's Lanning's, a fine dining steak & seafood experience. We offer five star, tuxedo dinner service & have a lounge area that features specialty cocktails, live music, and more. We had the filet, chicken Marsala and walleye along with the au gratin potatoes; all of the food was excellent. Tom was awesome explaining the menu and specials. They forgot to bring bread so we sat quite a while with only our drinks before receiving bread or having our order taken. It was busy, but they appeared to have a lot of staff working. Aside from waiting a bit, everything was fabulous! We will definitely return.

We were looking forward to trying Lanning's to celebrate my husband's birthday, but we very disappointed in our experience. The dining room was loud and frenzied. The waiter was overworked (too many tables at one time) so our service was very slow, although his assistant was very attentive. Our drink order was incorrect. I asked for a classic daiquiri. I was told the bartender couldn't make it - too busy, but a few minutes later I was given a frozen daiquiri when a classic was what was ordered. I tried it but it was not a frozen strawberry daiquiri. Rather, it tasted like a cotton candy snow cone! Then the bartender appeared at the table and offered a classic daiquiri claiming a miscommunication between he and the waiter. I accepted the drink, even though both the other people at our table had long finished theirs. On our bill we were charged for a Long Island Ice Tea instead of the classic Daiquiri that was ordered. When we questioned it, the waiter explained that was the way he had to input it into the computer! Don't feel we should have been charged at all for their mistake. My steak was very rare not medium as requested. They did take it back but ... I ordered the petit filet and the meat was not as tender as it should have been for the price! The other two dinners were cooked right. But, it was a very disappointing, very expensive meal.

Service was amazing and the restaurant looks incredible. Food wasn’t all there for me. The wagyu delmonico was delicious but everything else was lacking flavor.

Ambiance and atmosphere very ‘Vegas like’!! While the food was ‘good’ it wasn’t ’very good’. With there pricing I would reccomend for a special occasion but not a regular visit type of place.

The shrimp cocktail and bacon-wrapped scallops were the best we've had. Mediterranean Salad with salmon was light, flavorful, and the salmon was cooked to perfection. The ribeye with mushrooms and onions was impressive, tasty, and more than enough for leftovers. Service was impeccable! The view over the river was beautiful and made the evening complete. Attention to allergies is always top-notch! Thank you for helping us celebrate our 26th wedding anniversary.
