Building community inside our space is important to us, but so is the community just outside our doors. We chose Pioneer Square because of each team member’s close bond with the neighborhood through years of working, socializing and living here.
A friend and I partook from the happy hour food menu (Hammered Potatoes, Chorizo Tacos, Pork Belly Tacos, Black Butter Popcorn) and the taste was excellent, and quantity surprising large for the Hammered Potatoes (best of items sampled). Great place for a pregame meal.
We were looking for something near the stadium. This fit the bill.
It is a Pioneer Square bar first and foremost. However, the bartenders were friendly and helpful. The food was good, the drinks were good and the bathroom was well appointed and clean. It wasn’t speedy, so not for you if you are in a rush. And the menu is limited. Overall, if you are looking for a meal in Pioneer Square in a bar, this was very good.
I love this place. Great staff, drinks, happy hour and dishes. I only wish it was a little easier to cobble together a vegetarian meal here. But for drinks and light bites it’s perfect. The plantain dish is insanely good and unlike any other I’ve had, we ordered more immediately.
Really nice bar with huge liquor selection. Food is priced on the high side, for what it is, but was delicious (hammered potatoes and salad). I ordered late and they no longer were able to make the fish tacos, so they comped my substitute. That is classy and great service. Will return!
The only disappointment was that the website menus did not reflect the menus we were given. I had predetermined what I was going to have and then when we got there it was totally different. Probably would not have chosen the restaurant based on current menus. Had to settle for a burger but really wanted the seafood. The burger was outstanding but not what I wanted that evening.
Traffic was horrible so we were running late. The staff was extremely accommodating and polite. They served us quickly so we could make our next activity on time without any hassel. The food was excellent, as were the cocktails!
They took our reservation. Didn’t have a table when we showed. We figured out our own seating at the bar. The server handed all of us menus and told us they only had salad and nothing else. Why are you handing me a menu?
Fantastic food! A great find that we "lucked into" in Pioneer Square. We'll definitely be back - the neighborhood is really turning around!
Great happy hour spot. The service was a little awkward, as they were preparing for a large party/event later in the evening (maybe that is why).
Great spot for hand crafted cocktails and inventive food.
Our bartender was amazing! He made a custom drink for me and then wrote down the recipe. Best cocktail I’ve ever had! And nice because I have allergies to certain items.
Excellent experience overall. A great date spot. The food was delicious and the service was top notch.
Slightly expensive, but delicious food and drinks. The staff was great, and we all enjoyed what we ordered.
I enjoyed it all around except for the cold breeze coming through the door each time a customer entered or exited the restaurant because of our seating in the front. We made reservations but doesn’t seem like those are honored and if we showed up 10-15 later then we expected we would’ve waited longer then we wanted.
Incredible food, buzzing atmosphere, really friendly service, and INCREDIBLE food! The chef (Felipe) is nothing short of genius. I had one bite of the Dead Line Burger and told him it's possibly the best I've ever had. The bold twists on both traditional South American and North American food are unusual and pay off immensely. And to top it off, the prices are far from bank-breaking. I cannot recommend this place enough!
We had an outstanding dinner at Dead Line before the Sounders game last Saturday night! It was our first time at Dead Line, and the seven of us thoroughly enjoyed everything from the fantastic cocktails to the really delicious food. It’s a fairly short menu but with varied choices, and I think between the seven of us, we sampled about 75% of the dishes! The service was delightful and attentive and very efficient considering we had a fairly big group. Really love the ambience and decor of the place… Next time want to try out the lounge space in the back! We look forward to returning again soon.
One of my favorite spots in Seattle for drinks and light bites with friends. I highly recommend it, and will be back myself.
Wonderful Valentine's experience! Food was really delicious, imaginative, and we'll executed. Service was attentive and personable! Drinks were tasty and novel. Great date spot!
Awesome food little bit on the pricy side
Service was terrific. They had our table ready with ice waters when we got there. Food was pretty good. Happy hour drinks were in very tiny glasses!
Delicious tapas throughout the entire menu
Loved this place and will definitely be back. Good happy hour and the brussel sprouts are amazing, as are the potatoes. Actually everything we tried was good. Only had wine so can't comment on the cocktails at this time.
Had an amazing night with my sisters for a happy hour that turned to dinner. Service, food and drinks were all amazing!
Excellent cocktails and great vibe
We had the burger, brisket, popcorn and brussel sprouts. All were fantastic. Do not miss the brussel sprouts. Serving sizes are small, so order sides.
Great food, drinks and service!
Great spot. The food was fantastic. Perfect portions.
Great spot for really good drinks but the food portions are pretty small for the $$$. The service was just okay, nothing great. The food came out two plates at a time for a party of 12. Some guests were completely finished with dinner before other plates arrived. Need to step up the game in service.
Not enough food options and when the door opened the breeze came right in.
Food and drinks were great. Will return.
The food was delicious and our waitress was very friendly.
Absolutely top of my restaurant list at the moment!!!
Delicious Seattle Restaurant Week deal. Great opportunity to try this place. Will try to go again because of the brussels sprouts dish. Loved the Pioneer Square ambiance.
Yum! Yum!! Yum!!! Every course was what we call "a party in my mouth". The restaurant was packed yet magically the acoustics made it amazingly easy to talk. Great food, great conversation, a perfect combination. We'll be back!
We went to Dead Line for the first time during Seattle Restaurant Week. Among our group we tried everything on the menu, and it was all fantastic. Creative blending of ingredients, innovative preparation, and beautiful presentation.
Great ambience and cocktails were great, but starter and main overly salted and chocolate pot dessert was not good at all
My complicated boyfriend and I came here for an impromptu dinner. Loved it. Ordered the most brilliant Brussel sprouts I have ever had (I indulge in a primarily veggie diet). 10 different flavors wrapped into one dish. The salad was also quite refreshing and delicious. Both outshone the cornbread / brisket that my boyfriend ordered. We felt the cornbread was not quite corn-enough, but the presentation was beautiful. Had Pisco cocktails and a decadent fig dessert. The vibe was chill and hip—staff was highly knowledgeable and engaging. Definitely a highlight of our trip to Seattle.
service wasn't great. however, food was great so we were happy overall. i recommend the plantains and the smashed potatoes. and the fries that came with the burger were phenom!
Eric and and his staff were super accommodating to our whole group for HH. The cocktails we're fantastic (try Just Two More Weeks) and the food was fabulous. Try the Patacones! Love this place! Can't wait to go back!
Went to happy hour at 5pm on Friday before a concert at WaMu theatre. Had fried plantains with brisket. Very good! Wasn’t crazy about the chorizo sliders. The corn is insanely good. I had martinis and my husband had a glass of wine. He didn’t like the wine pairing with the food and they were super nice about swapping it out for a beer. The actual restaurant was great as far as design. Slender slide of a restaurant right on 1st street. Go there before a game. The menu isn’t huge but each thing was done well.
