Location was nice. Service was excellent however the staff that was cleaning off the tables around us were so loud that it was unpleasant to hear. Even made it difficult to hear the waiter. The food was a bit over priced. Food was a bit dry and flavorless.

I love coming to deadfish grill. The view of the lake is always beautiful. I also like what they’ve done to the menu. I had the salmon salad with cilantro dressing it was very good. The service was great as well. Our server said it was her second day on the job but she did great. I look forward to coming back again.

The food was great. However, service was very slow and not responsive to taking care of the table (empty drinks, waiting for all the meals, missing napkins and silverware, 25 minutes to pay). Beautiful sunset on a Friday night - we waited for the cannon and they didn’t shoot it. I guess it is a smoking area now.

Had reservations on Valentine’s Day it was our 45 wedding anniversary they wanted to set us at the end of a large table where 6 people we didn’t even know were at the other end. When we asked for another table the hostess was VERY rude and told us all the empty tables around us were reserved for other people. We got the table next to the canyon which was set off minute after being seated. Two of the smaller tables we ask about never had anyone seated at them before we left. Not a good experience

Our reservation went so smoothly! We were seated on time and where we had asked to be seated ahead of time (with a view). The food was amazing and our server was very attentive and friendly even with how busy they were! This is our favorite place to go for special events because of the all around amazing atmosphere there!

Because it was Valentine's Day, I expected some changes however I believe the menu was too limited. The one special they had for a couple's dinner priced at $140 did not seem worth the asking price. The steak that we received was tough and had very little flavor. We asked our waitress before ordering if the ribeye was bone-in and were told it was however it was not, but we didn't hold it against her. The restaurant was quiet, and the waterfront view is always amazing. It was still a good date.

First time and we will go back… our server was great and very friendly!!! Food was good Atmosphere good Our view was so pretty of the lake. Price reasonable. A few things I would say was 2 employees walked around with there hoodies on and 1 boy had his pants so low I really don’t want to see anyone BUTT or underwear at dinner or ever honestly especially for a restaurant!! Bathroom had no toilet paper which can be frustrating when ya need it!!! Overall we will go back but would love to see a bit more professional with the employees attire ….

My husbands entree came with corn on the cob, it looked like it had been picked out of a garbage can and put on his plate. The vegetables that came with the rest of our meals were cold, and mushy. The meats, fish and salad we good. The server was nice. Don’t know that we will go back again.

As always we enjoyed our meal. The catfish bites are my favorite and my husband always enjoys the trout or mahi-mahi. The ambience and view is always delightful. We were sorry to hear that the dirty rice was no longer on the menu but understood the menu changes. If I could offer one suggestion….it would be to check the servers on handling dishes and utensils. In our last few visits we experienced the servers’ fingers or thumbs all inside plates when bringing food or handling the part of the fork or spoon to be used and not the handle. A training issue that can be easily resolved.

We made a reservation on OpenTable. None of our preferences requested in our reservation were granted. We were hoping for a table with a view to celebrate our anniversary and were seated at one of the few tables in the restaurant without a view. My wife had shrimp and grits which were delicious. My burger didn't come out with her meal. The very friendly waitress said it was overcooked and they were making another. By the time it came out my wife was close to done eating. Maybe just an off night, but not our best experience eating out.
