   The food is very good, the restaurant is lovely and whilst the staff are enthusiastic and very pleasant they are very inexperienced and lack some of the finer points that you would expect to accompany the heights that this restaurant is aiming for. To give a couple of examples - the bread was placed in on the place setting of one of the diners rather than in the middle of the table. Partly because there was not enough room in the middle but that is because a dessert spoon and fork are pre-set even though we had not decided upon 3 courses. Secondly, the music went off half way through the evening. Thirdly, the staff began wiping down tables and sweeping up whilst we were still eating even though it was still relatively early on a Saturday night (about 9 pm).

   Quality food at a great price. Chefs are very good so expect a special dining experience with quality ingredients and friendly atmosphere.

   Had Sunday dinner at Deacons. Food was really good and the staff were warm and friendly. Hope to go again soon.

   We came here on a recommendation from our Gym owner Dave! Travelled from Buxton. Loved it, already booked again for 2 weeks time. Food was delicious and very high standard, good value for money. Had beef roast and lime tart- really tasty and refreshing after main. Beautifully decorated with real style. The entrance crittle glass is stunning and such a good idea to keep the warm in and road noise out! Would like to see cocktail options on the drinks menu but this is a minor thing- the food was the main event. The staff were very professional, friendly and attentive- young waiters and waitresses but clearly well trained for the position, such smart uniforms and so polite and helpful- they made us feel very welcome and comfortable. Timings between courses and drinks were perfect- didn’t feel rushed but weren’t waiting around either. Was lovely and busy/bustling on a Sunday but could still hear each other- acoustics good for conversation across the table. Bringing the in-laws for an evening meal next- can’t wait!

   The restaurant inside is delightful , cosy and wonderful decor and lighting . The staff were amazing , attentive ,knowledgeable but discreet . The food was out of this world , presented beautifully and the dishes were well thought out and full of flavour . This is a huge find and also does brunch and lunches . It has become a firm favourite to visit .

   A special Sunday lunch which didn’t disappoint at all. Food excellent, very capable waiting staff who dealt with our special request, made us feel at home and shared conversation. Thank you.

   Excellent new restaurant in Chapel. Food was very well presented, including the sides. Friendly staff too.
