I can't recall her name but she had glasses but this server was amazing. Always checked in at the right times, made a suggestion on a beer when I asked about it and she knew about the beer. I manage a restaurant and if I wasn't so far away id recruit her. Great Job. I'll be back for sure. Definitely loved the Camaron entree FIRE.
Great food and even better sangria! Definitely will be coming back to this neighborhood gem!
Great spot! Very accommodating! Will definitely be coming back.
First time there and I can't complain. Our reserved table was a little late but manager took care of our first drinks. The wait was worth it, great food and drinks. Great customer service. Will be coming back soon.
I love it!
Food was pretty good, but was a little more expensive than I would've expected. Steak in my enchilada was just ok quality. Sangria was too sweet.
Food was amazing! Service was perfect! Great experience all around!
Great restaurant! I have been here for brunch and dinner. Don't miss the coffee. Fresh tasty ingredients and a great waitstaff. The carne asada is awesome as is the steak sandwich.
Food is not worth the price. Drinks are very weak. Would not recommend.
Not a great experience. We were seated in the "diner" looking area with the windows, very small and cramped. The bar/restaurant area on the other side looked much more inviting. Appetizers were pretty much all $9.95-pretty steep. I ordered fajitas and they were mostly large chunks of peppers and onions-not much flavor and hardly any meat/fish.
The margaritas were very weak and small and at $10 a pop, expensive. Service was friendly and prompt. Parking is hard, not the restaurant's fault, but we won't be fighting for a spot anytime soon.
Hands down my favorite Mexican/Latin food in the city. More upscale than a regular Mexican place, excellent food, excellent margaritas and mezcal mixed drinks. Not your ordinary Mexican food. My husband and I go here for birthdays, anniversaries, beautiful summer days because we just really love it.
Food and service were great. Only small issue was entrees came too soon after appetizer.
Really high quality Mexican food. Well prepared, great assortment of options. Cordial wait staff! We will definitely return!
The food was good, nice atmosphere. The drinks taste good but not very strong.
Wine was really bad, service slow, ambiance poor, food just ok.
Our waitress was amazing and the food was delicious.
My boyfriend asked for a specific off the menu cocktail and the bartender and waiter made it happen. Great service!
The food is always amazing and our server, Lily, was great!
Service was quick, food was delicious
Great place, also the food very tasty but we felt lonely by our waitress , and she forgot to put the order in but I'm not sure if she was busy on the other side but on our side it was empty but I will definitely give a second try.
Good place to visit.. Food needs a little twerking. Overall, we had a great experience and the service is always good.
I went with a group of 8 people. The food was very good and the place was energetic, but it took quite a bit of time to place our order. Even though the food was very good, I'm not sure that I would go out of my way to go back as I don't live in the area.
Great service, friendly atmosphere and delicious food. Everything was served promptly it had the right amount of heat and had delicious flavors. The menu was innovative and I would highly recommend this restaurant! The hostess Maria and the server Jose made my date and I feel right at home. A great neighborhood find!
Lipstick all over the rim of my water glass. Hey, not all dishwashers are the best, I get that. But maybe double check before setting the table? Maybe if it wasn't so dark some would have noticed. Got it swapped out quick, and server was apologetic.
Found hair in the batter of my tacos de pescado. Like a lot of it. It was awful. I didn't mention it because I didn't want to ruin everyone else's meal. I'm guessing restaurants this dark keep the lights low for more reasons than just ambiance.
Thank you for the complimentary dessert to celebrate our guest's birthday! Great ambience and food. Some dishes a bit too spicy. Mojitos too sweet but our group enjoyed the sangria.
Food and atmosphere are great. Owner is usually there and gets to know patrons- really appreciates your business. Highly recommend. Also fantastic white sangria!
We tried De Noche last weekend and it was really excellent. The food was incredibly good- and spicy! (in a good way!). Very lively and energetic spot in a great neighborhood. Love Logan Square!
This is a great find! The restaurant is charmingly decorated and the food was delicious. Lots of interesting drink choices too!
The food was delicious! I'd included in my reservation that we were celebrating my boyfriend's birthday, and they surprised him after dinner with a flan and a candle. Really great!
We had a problem with splitting the check even though the waiter said we could he couldn't in the end.
Great place! Knowledgeable, efficient, friendly waitstaff. I was there on a crowded Saturday evening. Our water glasses were always filled, requests for cocktails were handled promptly and the meal was well paced. I will definitely go back!
Great place!!!! Being Mexican I'm always picky but this place is awesome! Food did not disappoint!
Food is always amazing, service could be quicker :)
Guacamole was horribly under seasoned, even the side habanero sauce couldn't save it. Mole sauce was a tad too sweet. Old Fashion cocktail was delish.
Went here with my girlfriend for dinner on a Friday night. I got the Ropa Vieja, and she got the chicken enchiladas. Both were great tasting, with standard, but great tasting, sides. The tables are a bit close together, and we were unfortunately next to a couple louder tables. Overall, it was a great experience, and the food was amazing....but our server was a bit standoffish. He even offered us dessert and coffee before we had even received our meals! I'd still go again, though.
The food was great but I found a plastic spoon in the rice.
Great neighborhood Mexican restaurant. The portions aren't huge, but the food is generally tasty. The queso fundito with corn & mushroom, burrito suizo, fried rice pudding cake (you read that right), and cafe con leche were all very good. My only complaint was the temperature inside the restaurant. It was nearly as hot inside as it was outside. Not comfortable at all on a summer evening.
In the past we have had many wonderful dinners at D'Noche. This time, however, it wasn't so good. They've changed the menu from "Latin Fusion" to "Mexican" and while the food was good, the menu was more exciting and the food was better under the "Latin Fusion" umbrella. Additionally, our service was not quite terrible, but certainly lackluster. Having to wave vigorously to get our server's attention while she was taking with another server was not only frustrating but only one of the things she did that made our tip lower than it might have been. I have recommended this place in the past, and I suppose I will in the future, but it will come with a caveat.
This used to be a favorite place of ours - this visit was very different... the menu was very limited. The salad that is on the OpenTable menu was "no longer available as of today" we were told...and being a vegetarian, they really don't offer many options. Everything has too much cheese and was very salty. I'd prefer to taste the FOOD, not salt. The $14 margaritas were nothing special at all. Service was lackluster and not all that friendly.
We ate here one night after looking online for a restaurant near the blue line stop when coming home from the airport. This place had really good reviews so we gave it a shot. It was good, not great. My husband had the flank steak with chimichurri sauce and I had the vegetarian enchiladas. Drinks were also okay--classic margarita and red sangria. If we lived in the neighborhood we'd probably return but likely not since we don't live near the area and would explore other Logan Square restaurants.
