So glad to have made an OT reservation! We sat in the back room which was quieter and had glass walls. The Sangria Blanca is the best! Along with the Calamar appetizer, Camarón al ajillo and Cochinito pibil! Great waitstaff who didn’t rush us. Extra plus is there’s free parking in back!
The food was fabulous, the service was great. A bit noisy, couldn’t hear well enough to know the specials. Will be back, there is about 6 more things on the menu I have to try.
Only complaint--it was very very hot inside the restaurant. They need more fans!
The drinks were really good and we were seated quickly. Nice place to eat for birthdays!
The food and ambiance are both wonderful! The only issue was having to wait for an entire party to arrive even though we had a reservation and the table was set and vacant. This was a little frustrating and hard on my parents to stand and wait.
Upton arrival we had reservations for a hightop table however they didn't have one for us and sat us right next to the door. Our server wasn't friendly or attentive - we will for sure go to a different restaurant next time in the area.
I truly expected more from this place. The food tasted like it was placed in the microwave to be reheated and served. Taco Joint has better tacos and beans than this place and can we talk about the queso fundido like it was just horrible food. Can we talk about the prices? Just outrageous for the quality of food you are being served. Would never recommend any of my friends or family here.
The empanadas were delicious. I tried the Hennessy based cocktail Hennything can happen. It was Devine.
Food was phenomenal, staff was excellent, and the decor was amazing. I’ve been to this place a few times and it never ceases to impress. Shots are a little pricey but overall prices are great.
Always great food, drinks, and ambiance. Where else can you go and have the owner in the dining room talking to and thanking the patrons for coming? A sure winner!
It was our first time going their for 4 of us 1 friends had gone their and said everything was delicious and the mojito was definitely delicious ..... but our server was just pushing us to get the valanties special and she seemed a bit disturbed when we kept asking what do you recommend us she said well I dont know what you like ..... is a girl with glasses we where their for 2 hours and she kept asking I'd we need it the check like if she wanted us to leave .
Amazing food. Amazing service. Go. Now.
Great queso and taco salad; the shrimp risotto special was the star!
Great service! Our server asked about any food allergies (person I was with has a shellfish allergy) and steered us away from a few less than obvious things on the menu.
Interesting updates of traditional Mexican favorites and fantastic prices.
Service & wait staff very friendly, attentive, & accommodating! Food was great & prompt! We ate on the patio, so noise level was low & we could easily carry on a conversation. Inside the restaurant was much noisier.
Really good drinks and damn good food. Really enjoyed it, good for a nice, but not too crazy expensive Saturday date night
Our server was very nice, well mannered, funny and took great care of our family. Our food was out quickly and delicious. Please order the maduros and the veggie queso fundido! Yummy! The latin music in the background was perfect! Thanks for a great birthday dinner experience!
Overall the place was really nice and it’s small. Really good food. Really great service.
Awesome, no complaints
Food is always great, i'd recommend 100% for the food. Service would have been 5 stars but when we got there it took a while before anyone acknowledged us . It was a bit awkward at the beginning, seemed like they didn't know what to do with us. We did have a reservation. They had to put a table together for another group mid way through our meal and it was a lot of commotion, they should try to be more quiet or considerate of the other parties dining, tables and chairs being dragged around making noise that probably could have been picked up and placed. Not the biggest deal but it was disruptive and looked a little unprofessional. Especially in such a small space. This occurred in their smaller second dining area
neighborhood gem; walking distance from my house and great options
The food was pretty good, could use a little more seasoning. The staff was amazing.
A terrific waitress and the food was excellent. All the 5Stars were right!
I can't recall her name but she had glasses but this server was amazing. Always checked in at the right times, made a suggestion on a beer when I asked about it and she knew about the beer. I manage a restaurant and if I wasn't so far away id recruit her. Great Job. I'll be back for sure. Definitely loved the Camaron entree FIRE.
Great food and even better sangria! Definitely will be coming back to this neighborhood gem!
Great spot! Very accommodating! Will definitely be coming back.
First time there and I can't complain. Our reserved table was a little late but manager took care of our first drinks. The wait was worth it, great food and drinks. Great customer service. Will be coming back soon.
I love it!
Food was pretty good, but was a little more expensive than I would've expected. Steak in my enchilada was just ok quality. Sangria was too sweet.
Food was amazing! Service was perfect! Great experience all around!
Great restaurant! I have been here for brunch and dinner. Don't miss the coffee. Fresh tasty ingredients and a great waitstaff. The carne asada is awesome as is the steak sandwich.
Food is not worth the price. Drinks are very weak. Would not recommend.
Not a great experience. We were seated in the "diner" looking area with the windows, very small and cramped. The bar/restaurant area on the other side looked much more inviting. Appetizers were pretty much all $9.95-pretty steep. I ordered fajitas and they were mostly large chunks of peppers and onions-not much flavor and hardly any meat/fish.
The margaritas were very weak and small and at $10 a pop, expensive. Service was friendly and prompt. Parking is hard, not the restaurant's fault, but we won't be fighting for a spot anytime soon.
Hands down my favorite Mexican/Latin food in the city. More upscale than a regular Mexican place, excellent food, excellent margaritas and mezcal mixed drinks. Not your ordinary Mexican food. My husband and I go here for birthdays, anniversaries, beautiful summer days because we just really love it.
Food and service were great. Only small issue was entrees came too soon after appetizer.
Really high quality Mexican food. Well prepared, great assortment of options. Cordial wait staff! We will definitely return!
The food was good, nice atmosphere. The drinks taste good but not very strong.
