   We have been here before and had a good experience, however, this time not so much. We had to ask for bread, it wasn't brought to our table. My son ordered the pork chop and found a piece of hair in it. We showed it to the waiter and the he brought it to the kitchen. In return, they gave my son free ice cream. Although I didn't ask for it, they should've done more. I ordered cappuccino and it tasted terrible. We weren't happy with the overall experience.

   We were a party of 7 that dined at the restaurant this past Saturday evening (9/23). We brought family visiting from out-of-town. Unfortunately, the De Ninno's experience was a total disaster. It began with difficulty securing drinks from the bar. Evidently, the bartender is difficult and refused to make certain drinks for the server. My sister finally went up to the bar to investigate and the neglected drinks were finally made and delivered. After our order was placed, delivery of food was in "dribs and drabs." After soup and salad, the sever came to tell us that one of the entrees could not be prepared as ordered. A few minutes after that issue was settled, the food began to arrive one plate at a time with the re-ordered entree coming much later. The server was very apologetic and shared that she was assisting other recently hired wait-staff. We were offered complementary desserts that came one at a time and one not at all. At no point, did there seem to be someone "in-charge" to oversee the dining room or assist staff and patrons. Not sure what is going on but will not be going back again!

   The only good thing was the Caesar salad. My daughters ravioli with shrimp was swimming in sauce. You couldn't even see the ravioli. My husbands pasta bologna sauce was sour. My wedding soup was tasteless. The waitress had no idea what root beer was & brought my husband an o'douls. Overall not a great experience. Would not return or recommend.

   Absolutely awful ! Let me begin by saying - my wine glass was sticky , my red wine was rancid . Next we were served a basket of stale dinner rolls . The ravioli stuffed with crabmeat was swimming or should I say drowning in sauce and the crabmeat was next to invisible . Our waitress, although very sweet , was completely inexperienced . It just amazes me that this place is still open . I guess a lot of people don't know what good food is . Disgraceful to put an Italian name on this place .

   As a long time fan of Marie Nicole's , my friends and I were happy to head over to the DeNinno's and try the newest member of their restaurant family. Cocktails at the bar, as always, awesome! Unfortunately that's where the good time ended. At the table our wine was served and we requested that our cocktail glasses be removed. That didn't happen. When the waiter returned to ask if we were ready to order we did so and again requested that the cocktail glasses be removed. Along with our appetizers came the side veggies and pasta that we ordered to accompany our entrées. We asked that they be taken back and served with our entrées. They were taken away and brought back within three minutes. Our entrées each came at different times and different temperatures which made for an awkward dinner along with our now cold sides. Specialty coffees also came at different times and all were served cold. Two came without the liqueur/whipped cream mentioned on the menu. The quality of the food in no way compared to the high standards of your other sister restaurants. The service was disjointed, disrespectful and lacking in all attention to detail. As local residents of Cape May, Marie Nicole's was always a favorite during the summer and off-season. Sadly, DeNinnio's will no longer be a destination for us.

   The eggplant parm special was horrible. They had a pork chop that was very good and tasty. But the special eggplant parm wiped out ant points to be rated. I wouldnt go back. When it was really Marie Nicoles it was terriffic. Oh well.

   This restaurant is very good. The food is delicious although a little pricey. Due to the cost it is not someplace you can frequent often but it is nice to go to when we go to Wildwood. The service was very good as well. A little too cool on the air conditioning on this night, but they did adjust the thermostat. The didn't have most of the beer menu they listed. However, we do like the food and will be back again.

   Very dark and depressing-just as Marie Nicole's was. Food was ok but won't go back. Place needs a redo!

    Absolutely awful! This was probably one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. As part of our hotel stay at the Fleur de Lis, we had dinners included at a few local restaurants - De ninno's being one of them. We knew it was the old Marie Nicole's that we loved so we decided to go there. From the moment we told them we had the dinner passes, it was suddenly a total change in the staff's demeanor - as if we were second class citizens who couldn't afford to be there. The girl bussing the tables was miserable - slamming down the rolls on the table, saying nothing and storming off. The appetizer we ordered, meatballs, was cold. It would've been great if it had been warm. We both ordered gnocchi for our dinners that was absolutely awful - it tasted like uncooked pasta with ketchup. We barely ate any which our server kindly said she'd wrap up - and then didn't even give us - ha! No need to ask for it as we never intended on eating it when we left. The one positive is the drinks were good. In spite of being made to feel completely unwelcome and the lousy food, we tipped the server well over 30 perfect. Truly the worst dining experience I've ever had!
