What a great surprise it was to find De La O. The service and food were excellent. Out of all we chose, we all loved every single thing. We started with a chicken liver paté (which had molasses or something sweet on top. It came in a jar. Interesting and delicious. We also shared a salad of grilled lettuce, really good mozzarella cheese, sauteed peppers, pickled onions with a balsamic dressing. Outstanding. One guest had the cod, which was exquisite and surrounded in a pork sauce, which made it more interesting. Two of us shared the two soup like meals). Both had seafood - 1 had beans and was in a greenish sauce. The other was like a paella. The wine was also exquisite as was the bread. It was the most magnificent dinner I can ever remember eating. All of it, including the $32 bottle of wine came to $148.
