Booked for the 31st of december, when we got there the restaurant was closed!! Why would they take bookings if they were closed? Terrible from them

Tisch reserviert für 5 Leute an Sylvester. Das Restaurant hatte geschlossen und wir hatten keine Information darüber. Das hätte uns fast Sylvester und den Urlaub in Amsterdam versaut. Zum Glück haben wir spontan noch in einem anderen Restaurant einen Tisch bekommen. Niemals würde ich das Restaurant erneut besuchen oder empfehlen!!!

The restaurant was overbooked and understaffed and they did not have a table for us with seating for 4 people. We asked to sit at another table and we’re told the people who would eventually sit there had a reservation (which of course, we had too). We found a place to sit in the waiting area and the frazzled server offered us a first round on the house which was nice. No manager came to greet us though, and we were consistently out of water, silverware and drinks. One food order was also charged for and not delivered to the table, something that we caught and we’re given cash back for as the charge had already gone through. Bottom line, would not recommend this to guests with any semblance of service expectations.

Went here for Christmas dinner and ordered the 4 course meal. It was absolutely phenomenal! Food was delicious and service was wonderful. Best meal we had in Europe and we traveled to 5 different countries that week.
