Als das internationale Team zum ersten Mal auf das „Kölsche Nationalgericht“ traf, war die Idee zum „De janze Hahn“ im Handumdrehen geboren. Denn der Name ist nicht nur eine Hommage an Köln sondern auch an die Kölsche Küche, die Kölner selbst und die Rheinische Lebensweise. Aber da bei uns keine halben Sachen gemacht werden, musste es einfach ein janzer Hahn sein.

Ob morgens, mittags oder nachmittags - bei uns sollen Gäste den ganzen Tag gut essen können. Vom Frühstück bis zum Abendessen sorgt das junge, engagierte Team dafür, dass Sie das Restaurant zufrieden, satt und glücklich verlassen. Luis Dias und seine Team suchen die Produkte mit großer Sorgfalt aus und bereiten daraus pfiffige und richtig leckere Gerichte mit hohem Wiedererkennungswert her. Und das zu günstigen Preisen.

Wir hatten für 13.04.19 einen Tisch für 18.30 Uhr reserviert u. als wir zu dem Lokal kamen war geschlossen. Ein Schild war angebracht dass Betriebsferien seien. Wir hatten zwei Tage Köln gebucht, kamen aus dem Saarland angereist u. suchten uns dann an dem Abend ein anderes Restaurant in dem wir speisen konnten. Dies war etwas schwierig da um diese Zeit in Köln heftig Treiben ist u. es demnach auch sehr ist noch in einem Lokal einen Tisch zu bekommen. Man hätte uns wenigstens auf die Betriebsferien hinweisen können u. nicht noch die Reservierung bestätigen. Wie Sie sich denken können waren wir darüber sehr verärgert. Eine positive Bewertung für Ihr Lokal ist diese Art u. Weise nicht.

Pointless booking for this restaurant and traveling to its location only to find it has changed its opening hours, but failed to update these on OpenTable. Looks like a great restaurant and I’d like to be able to change my review but I feel it’s necessary to warn others.
