    I want so badly for there to be a decent Italian restaurant around the Akron area. Alas, this is not it. The hostess was great and the spot we were seated was so so- not her fault. The waiter was - meh. He forgot about our drinks, never once offered bread although other tables got it, never brought water, we had to ask then charged us for an entree we didn’t get because it was originally ordered then told they were out. Also, we ordered a bottle of Nickle & Nickle Chardonnay not telling him which one (there are 2 on the menu) and he brought the most expensive one- of course- opened, poured it and left the table with no chiller for the wine. Now the food——— My husband and I both got a special of table side Cacio Pepe. It was also- so so. Nothing exciting. Nothing amazing. Just pasta made beforehand and lightly swirled around in a wheel of cheese. Also the portions were small. My friend got chicken fettuccine alfredo, it was 3 minutes too early for al dente but he didn’t want to return it so he ate it. (I was t paying for it so I didn’t care) Our other friend ordered pesto penne- gluten free- I was skeptical because no where did it say gluten free nor was it mentioned beforehand but when asked he said all of the penne was GF. I won’t ever know but I doubt it. So the pesto- it was more garlic than anything else. She too ate it because she didn’t want to argue and send it back. The ambiance- it’s literally the exact same place as DBA- just with white brick and no albums or guitars. In other words, we won’t be heading back anytime soon. It wasn’t the worst but definitely not somewhere that I’ll immediately think of when wanting a nice place with good food.

    Great experience! Genuine friendly and professional staff. I loved being treated with a bit of sparkling wine from the bartender! A very sweet touch! My husband and I enjoyed every bite of our meal: the charcuterie and mussels for apps, fantastic drinks and octane veal dishes for dinner and the most amazing carrot cake ever for dessert. We will most definitely be returning, and have already recommended this place to friends!

    Great time celebrating my anniversary. Complimentary champagne as we checked in, stokes the serve was awesome. Drinks with great! Food was delicious

    Three of us were there for dinner on a Saturday night. Crowded and noisy but the food made up for it. They were out of beef carpaccio so we had charcuterie. Plenty for the three of us. I had the papperdele, my wife had Alfredo and my son had spaghetti with an enormous meatball. Food was great but my papperdele was the fan favorite. Our server, Emma was delightful and made our evening special!

    From the champagne when you arrive to the great service (Stokes is the BEST!), the delicious food (don’t miss dessert), everything was great! And the prices—reasonable! I have not seen a wine list like this in years. I’ve already been twice and it’s my new favorite.

    The food? Absolutely fantastic. The pasta was fresh, the sauces rich and flavorful, and the cocktails are just as outstanding. Every bite was like a little taste of Italy right in the heart of the city. The carrot cake for dessert was the perfect ending to a great meal. But what truly made the night stand out was the exceptional service from Seth and Matthew. They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and taken care of throughout the evening. Seth had a great knowledge of the menu and gave spot-on recommendations, and Matthew's friendly demeanor and attention to detail made us feel like VIPs. It's not every day you get such top-notch service that makes you feel like family. Highly recommend!

    One of the best dining experiences I have had in some time. The customer service was outstanding as was the food! The bone-in ribeye was perfectly seasoned and well prepared. Would definitely visit again!

    The worst experience with front staff that I’ve ever experienced, they are the face of your business and they are horrible. Thank goodness you have good bartenders that’s where we sat in an empty restaurant after being offered the two worst tables in the place.

    Our server was friendly but we had to ask for refills, had to ask which meats and cheeses were on the charcuterie board, forgot our soup to go, had to ask for bags and had to ask for dessert menus. My eggplant was cold and dry. My sons cheese flatbread was burnt. We also told the server we were there to celebrate a birthday. He never told my daughter happy birthday or did anything for her birthday. We drive 50 mins to eat here and was not impressed. The place as very nice.
