DAY'S StoneGrill 1870 is a steakhouse where you can go for lunch and dinner. The pieces of meat come from all over the world, such as Argentina, New Zealand and Canada. The menu specializes in grill dishes and also has dishes with burgers, pizzas, pastas and chicken. You can choose a side dish with every entree from DAY'S StoneGrill 1870, such as French fries, rice or vegetables. At DAY'S StoneGrill 1870's bar, all kinds of beer, wines and spirits such as vodka, rum and whiskeys are served. Here you have the option to grill as in 1870.                                                                                         One of the most enjoyable meals we've had in Amsterdam. The staff was so attentive and welcoming from start to finish. The food...the lava stone cooking was new to us but so fun and engaging for our meal. I had the tomato soup which was full of flavor and texture. I don't think I've had as Wonderful a meal in Amsterdam. Highly recommend.

                                                                                        Cooking your own steak on a super-hot stone (not sure of the material, but it retains heat for a long time) is a unique experience. It works perfectly for tasty meats, burgers, and more.

                                                                                        We were in Amsterdam for Christmas and by coincidence, so were our son and daughter-in-law! Totally uncoordinated! We chose Day's StoneGrill for our Christmas dinner. We arrived about 30 minutes before our reservation. This was no problem and we were seated immediately. Our server was very attentive and had no problem accommodating 'substitutions' for the 'set' menu. The food was excellent and the experience of 'grilling' our entree was new and fun (some reviews state that they were put off by having to prepare their own meat--" We had to work"). Sorry, but that was one of the benefits of this arrangement--prepare as you prefer. This experience and meal was out of the ordinary and VERY pleasing! Wish we had something like this in our town in the USA.

                                                                                        So great I’m going there again…. Don’t be fooled by the restaraunts exterior. It’s amazing, I’m from the UK and have visited steak restaurants such as Gauchos and this is so much better.
