Everything was great it does get noise the later it gets
Bless their hearts, they are trying to be a real restaurant but it’s just “off”. Atmosphere is way too open, service is substandard, and the food is not the quality we expected for the price. It’s like getting a high-end dining bill without getting the high-end dining experience.
Beautiful place great food and prices service was great and food came quickly
The food was good but service was tough. Took 1.5 hours for our food and our orders weren’t complete. They dropped our food and pretty much left us to fend for ourselves. They did take some $$ off of our bill but I’m not sure we will back. The restaurant wasn’t busy.. multiple tables came in, ate and left before we were served. I don’t know what the issue was with our table.
We brought a guest from out of town for dinner. This gentleman owns several fine dining restaurants. He was VERY impressed with Day Traders Grill. The facility, the service, the extensive menu, prep, presentation and excellent selection of fine spirits. Well done, and thanks!
The food was amazing. Service was great. Will definitely be back soon.
Wonderful experience! The food, wait staff and views were amazing!
Our server was good. Steaks were really, really good! French fries and sautéed squash were excellent. Dessert was mediocre.
No one was masked; tables were crammed together.
The noise level was hideous. We literally had to lean across the table to hear each other. We were hoping for an upscale dining experience; we were sorely disappointed in that.
Best steak and ribs in the area that we’ve had! And the service was friendly and phenomenal. We will be back!
The food was delicious, and the drinks were very good as well. I will be back with friends and family.
Excellent steaks and a wonderful, unexpected side of Black eyed peas! Friendly, capable service from smart, articulate folks. Additional value added: An extensive selection of fine Whiskeys that rivals any big city establishment I've patronized. Highly recommend this fine restaurant.
We were sat at our table very quickly and our waitress immediately introduced herself and took very good care of us throughout the evening.
Our food was delicious and reasonably priced.
We were HIGHLY impressed with Day Traders! We could tell our server was new to the industry, but she still did a great job! The food was fantastic, drinks were delicious, and the place is gorgeous! Already planning our next visit 😁
Was 51st anniversary meal, I don’t know what some of these reviewers are complaining about but everything was great for us. I have a hard time with people comparing about having to pour their own water out of decorated water bottle, or complaining about a paper menu with a stain on it ours was perfectly clean. The food was cooked perfectly and seasoned just right. Our salad came within 5 minutes of ordering it. We ordered onion rings for a appetizer, they were best we’ve ever had. I had 12 oz New York strip and wife had 12 oz ribeye, they both were cooked perfectly, service was great, always coming by to check if everything was ok or if we needed something. Very friendly staff from waitresses to door girl to buss boy everyone was supper friendly.
We ordered the crab cakes appetizer and both of us had the filet. Perfectly cooked and delicious. Nice to see the menu has expanded, though this steak is so good we haven’t ordered anything else.
The noise level is compounded by all the hard surfaces. The restaurant wasn’t full, yet it was a bit hard to hear. Maybe some banners from the ceiling would help. Can’t wait to see what they chose to decorate the walls.
Our waitress was wonderful and the entire staff was very friendly.
Excellent food and service.
Wait staff friendly and knowledgeable.
Would highly recommend their burgers and pulled pork dishes.
The 7 oz tenderloin steak was so tender I could cut it with my butter knife. The garlic cheddar biscuits are the best I've ever had. I suggest their cheese curds for your appetizer. The service was wonderful. Our waitresses name started with a D. I apologize for not remembering it. But she was very good.
Great steaks, great service, and friendly manager. Definitely will be repeat customers.
Food was great. Service needs improvement. Noise level was very loud. We will go back, I very much want to see an upscale restaurant succeed in Lebanon.
Steak very tender could be cut with butter knife but no flavor. I've had better steak for less cost
Terrible service!!!!Food average at best! Especially for the price. Didn't get dinner salad until end of meal! Server had no clue of the menu items. Refused to take away used dishes! From a tiny tiny table!!!!!!! Will not go back and will definetly not recommend.
1. Only plus was my water came in a pretty water bottle.
2. I felt like I was eating in a noisy barn. 3. No dishes for vegetarians.
4. No baked potatoes.
5. Paper menus are reused. Mine had a stain on it.
6. My husband's steak was good. Was hoping for an excellent steak.
7. No chicken on the menu.
8. I ordered Ceasars salad. It was the size of a side salad yet cost over $5. Nothing special.
9. I ordered the banana pudding. It didn't taste any better than mine made with a mix. It was presented parfait style. Not a good idea. The whole top half woz whipped topping with a vanilla wafer stuck in it. At least 2 more of another wafers in the pudding. It was very difficult to get through the whipped topping and the vanilla wafers to get to the actual pudding. This was a very disappointing dish.
10. The waitress was very nice but it was very obvious that she did not have much, if any, waitressing experience.
Seating was right on time(we had a reservation). Staff is a little disorganized. Communication between server, bar staff, etc needs to be improved. Staff was courteous and quick to remedy the issues we had, but at these prices it should be seamless. We're enjoyed all the dishes we've eaten and the portions are good. One issue I find mind boggling is that on a Saturday night they had no baked potatoes! That is a serious oops. Overall we enjoyed this evening and will return.
Onion rings were too well done. Green beans were cold. Rib eye was good. New York Strip was tough. First time there. Disappointed....
My husband had ribs he said they were good, but he was disappointed when a salad wasn't included with the meal. I had the 7 oz tenderloin and it was great.
Appetizers and cheese biscuits we're great. Steak was tender but needed more flavor. Fries we're not good.
Our third time in about a month, since the food is so good. However, our experience took a turn downward this time.
We waited about 30 minutes past our reservation to be seated. I thought the seating area was full, a good sign, but no. It was half empty and clearly a shortage of servers and/or cooks.
From the time we sat until food brought to the table, for a party of six, was one hour. Way too long.
The menu was changed, but not sure for better or worse. The brisket, asparagus, and apple pie - all excellent on previous visits, were not on the menu. I'm okay with sampling something new, but I was planning to order the same meal I had two weeks prior.
The steak bites continue to be amazing. For a kid, that and a Caesar salad makes a great meal.
Could not carry a conversation because of how loud it was in the room. Sound barriers need to be added before we return. Menu needs to expand a bit.
The food was great! I am in the restaurant business so I will never fault a new restaurant for anything at the beginning. This was definitely above expectations for a new restaurant. I can’t wait to come back in a couple month when the kinks are worked out.
A few notes:
1. Our server did not seem well trained. Love the bottles of water on the table, but it would have been nice if the server had at least filled the glasses the first time. We also ordered a bottle of wine and there was no bottle service, just the opened bottle and empty glasses sat on the table. Our server did not know the menu well and we had to repeat our orders several times. We received our food after two other groups that arrived after us, and had to remind the server who each dish went to when our food arrived. Also, she handed my mother a steak knife with the blade out.
2. Ambiance: I think the main room looks nice with the brick wall and accent lighting. We were seated in the side room with very bright recessed lighting and white walls. It was very stark.
3. We were confused about whether the restaurant was fine dining or casual dining. Some elements seemed fine dining (linens, china, etc) but others were very casual (self-serve water and wine).
4. There was no wine or beer list...we just had to ask for Chardonnay and hope for the best.
The food really was delicious, and we loved the ease of being able to pay by scanning the code in the receipt!
Unfortunately, was disappointed. Food was cold, service was mediocre, waitress kept forgetting everything. About the only good thing was the discount after we conplained.
Crab cakes were outstanding!! Service was good until our meal was served. Every table was taken at that time, so they were very busy. They allowed a group of 10 of us to use the bar in the exhibition hall so we could stay & visit. It was fantastic.
Overall, we had a good experience.
We had a wonderful waitress named Renee and couldn’t ask for better service. I had the sirloin which was cooked perfectly. My husband had the ribeye which was a little over cooked. Both steaks could have used a little more seasoning. The restaurant was noisy and thought it would have been a little fancier for the price that you pay. But we had a nice dinner overall and would return.
Five of the six entrees were very good. One steak was not prepared as ordered but was still good. Appetizers, salads, soups, and desserts were excellent. Service was very good especially considering how busy they were,
Was no impressed with the quality of the food. Grandson ordered chick tenders from kids meal were so spicy had to take him fast-food on way home. 1 person had mahi mahi which was sitting to long before being served along with cold asparagus. Waited an hour after ordering to be served.
Food was excellent, service was very good for how busy our server was with 3 large tables. The ambiance of the restaurant area lacks warmth. Not a place to go for a romantic dinner unless they start using the main event hall for dining. We will be back because the food is so good!
The food was amazing our waitress was good but service was slow I didn't mind waiting tho it was definitely worth it.. fyi if u order the stew it is chili not stew.. it was very good just didn't expect chili..
We waited over 1 hour for our food. We were offered no bread. The appetizers were very costly for a hand full of cheese curds. The staff was nice, the restaurant was clean. It's pricey and slow service. If someone was to ask would you go back, more than likely not. Very expensive and slow service.
New establishment so hate to be critical however it is obvious they skipped vital steps that involved training of hostess/wait staff.
First impression was meeting a hostess who was literally panicked and running in the foyer. There was no professional banter such as “welcome to Day Traders Grill”. We had made reservations the evening prior so we was seated promptly but this is where things really kind of went down hill. We waited a good 10 to 15 minutes for a server to take our drink orders, then another 10 minutes to bring the drinks that included coffee and tea so nothing from the bar. Another group that sat down just shortly after us was never waited on and eventually did get up and leave. Waitress took our appetizer order when she delivered the drinks and also took our menus... so when she returned to delivered our appetizers and take our dinner order we had no menus. Salads come out the same time as our meal so the timing there was a bit off there. Had to ask for drink refills every time not just once. Now, the food was very good! 16 ounce ribeye and 7 ounce tenderloin both very good. Cooked very well. Baked potato abs asparagus both very good and cooked well. Over all we was there for just shy of 2 hours if you have the time and patience it’s worth the visit or just give it some time and hopefully they will have the kinks lined out.
We had a 7:00 reservation, we was sat at our table at 8:00 when someone waited on us at 8:30 she says “have you been waited on” there was no drinks on our table and the menus was sitting in the side of the table. The staff needs more training on service. Then our onion rings were burned to a crisp when they were attempted to be cut into the breading went flying off the plate. Our dinner was brought out with no potato as our side when the potato did arrive it was not completely cooked and was hard and our Medium ordered steak was well done. Also had to flag down our waitress for cocktail refills. Would recommend you Wait a few weeks before going for dinner so staff can be better prepared for a smooth running experience.
Great evening. Enjoyed the soft opening and has only gotten better.
