   Arrived 30 minutes early to our booking but was met with friendly staff who could not be more attentive. We were shown to our table within minutes and once seated, the staff gave us menus and drinks list along with the nights specials. The serve through out the night was impressive and impeccable and the gastro food was of a Michelin standard. We noted all the staff were overly attentive to all customers in a positive way and went above and beyond to give us a great experience. Sadly we are not often in Dublin but if and when we do, we will revisit this charming gastro pub. Great to see service and food is still key in our forever changing world .

   We were delighted with our dinner at Davy Byrnes. Our cottage pie and sea bream main dishes were perfect, as was the apple pie for dessert. And the Irish brown bread did not disappoint. The service was impeccable and the ambience was wonderful.

   As always a super experience. Great food and drinks coupled with super efficient and friendly staff.

   First and foremost, it is a pub. Know going in that it is going to be noisy. We were initially seated right next to the bar. (What is it with bartenders crashing bottles into the trash as loudly as possible?) They moved us to a different table. Our goal was a lighter meal, and our salad did not disappoint. The cocktails were good. They were hosting a large party, so were had a rotating service team - they were all very attentive. Pretty impressive for a "pub".

   Lovely lunch in Davey Byrnes. Good value for money, staff so welcoming and service very efficient. Did not feel rushed at any time. I would recommend the hake which was excellent.

   Davy Byrne’s is a little gem. Arrived for a catch up with a friend on Sunday evening. Shared the chicken wings starter between two which was great. Both mains - the beef and Guinness pie and the lamb stew special were excellent. Great Guinness too. Live music on a Sunday evening which adds to the atmosphere. Both staff members were polite and friendly. I’ll definitely be back!

    I have been here a few times for lunch and it continues to deliver the best quality food, staff are excellent and great value for money. I wouldn’t think of going anywhere else when I visit the city.
