The fillet was perfect. Bourbon selection was even better
Amazing food wonderful service and great location !
The service is really starting to decline for this restaurant. The waiter we had was terrible. Sold us the special and disappeared fro 20 minutes. Then appeared to tell us they were out of the ravioli. We reorder and after 20 minutes and no sign of the waiter anywhere in the restaurant I was irritated.. Finally, I flagged the guy down and ask him to check on the food and send over a manager. I told him the problem and also noted that the floor managers seemed focused on busing tables instead of supervising the kitchen and wait staff. Food arrived cold.
Great experience with my wife. Our waitress was amazing. We hadn't been in over 5 years when we lived in the Atlanta area and the truffled mac n' cheese wasnt like my wife remembered it. Everything else was extremely good.
This was our second lunch visit. The staff appeared to be inexperienced and a bit nervous. The food was good, not great. Our first visit (pre-COVID) was much better so we’ll try again.
One of the best restaurants and service I’ve ever experienced
Not nearly as good as previous visits. Restaurant was only moderately busy for a Saturday.
It was our first time and Veronica and her staff were wonderful. She was very personable and attentive. The crab claws appetizer were amazing and brought back home to Baltimore, MD. Everything was delicious. We sat in the booth in the bar area, the only notation is the sun was setting facing me. It wasn’t long just noticeable.
Thank you. We will be back.
The service was great, the environment was great and the service and food was excellent
I think the experience was subpar. We look young and weren’t dressed up so i think we were really judged. We came for a birthday and I saw other people posted photos of a cute cake with happy birthday written in chocolate. They gave my friend a coconut macaroon. The server was nice however i don’t think I’d be back.
Great spot. Grandscape has limited parking.
Had a great time.
attentiveness of waiter was non existent. seemed to be drudgery for him...never got my water refilled. repeatedly had to ask for service. I had spaghetti with meat ball, room temp at delivery, taste was worse than my first grader would make at $28 per serving i did expect something tasty....meatball was tasteless , why even bother....my girlfriend had the scallops they did taste good sauce was good. about same quality as Red Lobster....for comparison.... drinks were refreshing and showed some imagination, very good! overall a mediocre restaurant at best.....they were full of patrons, I'm sure just because of location and events....
We won't be back, for Authentic Italian we will go to the Pizza restaurant near by....
I wish I could think of some more negative things to say in a polite way .
I had heard many great things about this restaurant but this was my first time to try it. It met all expectations!
1) More staff than guests yet our service was extremely slow. Long wait for appetizer then another long wait before salads and then main course and another long wait for dessert. 3hrs from sit down to leaving. Don’t restaurants make money turning tables?
2) Food was lacking in flavor and portion size
- bolognese was bland
- halibut looked like a fish stick sized portion
- jumbo shrimp = 3 prawns?
- lobster risotto - bland and undercooked
3) place was not super busy so I’m not sure why the kitchen was backed up?
4) prices need adjusted (lowered) - food (portion size and taste) not in alignment with prices
Not sure I’d recommend or return given our experience last night.
Also when using open table does special occasions information get conveyed to restaurant? I made the reservation and noted an anniversary celebration - no acknowledgment whatsoever.
Very poor and slow service
Service was amazing. Brunch was okay, but not a lot of breakfast choices on brunch menu.
Our server, Alan, was exceptional. He Made the whole dining experience outstanding. Fort was great too. We will be back.
It was a terrible experience. We unfortunately just had to walk out of the restaurant after waiting so long for our food. Only four of us I must say and the waitress just disappeared. Finally when it was after 10:00 and the restaurant was clearing out and still no dinner we just told the Manager we were leaving.
Upstairs is not where you want to be. Lights are bright and it’s loud, looking into the kitchen wasn’t the best view. Downstairs had mood lighting and a much more inviting atmosphere.
Wanted to like this place but had several service issues and a few food issues - First off the good - they knew it was our anniversary and even gave us a hand signed card from the staff - very nice touch. Then the service issues...Took quite a long time to get the bottle of wine we ordered (from 2 different people). Oysters Rockefeller came out with cold oysters. Brussel Sprouts were awful and we didn't touch them but server never offered to remove them from our bill. She just said, "yes - they are pretty plain"! Wife's Lump crab spaghetti had ZERO lump crab in it. Fish special was good not great. No anniversary dessert or any other acknowledgement other than the card. And finally their rolls are incredibly good - I asked the server to box four for us and even told her to charge me for them. She brought out our leftovers which we took home and I assumed the rolls would be in the bag - no rolls!! Too many good restaurants in this area - we probably won't be back.
Our first time dining here and we had a great experience. The service and food was really good!
Felt a little rushed by the staff, Even when offering dessert the dessert cart was not available, so just little things that were a bit off.
Several had sun in face, (sitting inside) others under vent and were cold, everyone’s entree were cold. Be careful on seating. Did not request outdoors and tried to put us outdoors in 90 degrees. We also wish we’d known about downstairs seating. Put blinds on windows!!!! We complained about sun and WE finally pushed table to shade. Could be a really nice restaurant, but over priced and not accommodating
It was a good experience. My wife and I enjoyed the whole full experience, the food was good and drinks. We will definitely come back again.
Truly some of the most quality food my wife and I have eaten!
What a gem! I was looking for an authentic, pasta made in house, Italian restaurant and Davio's didn't disappoint. Our server was Lindy who was a jewel! She deserves a raise for certain. She was personable, attentive and didn't interrupt. She gave us a recommendation and made accommodations to have 1/2 dishes of pastas I wanted to try. I don't normally eat pasta let alone any carbs so I didn't want to waste my calories on ordinary. We are thrilled to get extraordinary in taste, presentation, service and atmosphere. Our company is all about going above and beyond for our team and clients and it can be tough to find great customer service. If service is as important as the food you should dine here!
Thanks so much Lindy for a great evening and hope you find the perfect home for you family. Cheers!
Everything was great from the time we arrived till after dessert
Our service ,food , wines d dessert was fabulous.
Can’t think of a thing they could do to make it better.
Fabulous! When I made the reservation, I made a note in the comments that we were celebrating a 90th birthday. We were not expecting any special service. They placed us in a private room and gave my mom a card which was signed by all the staff. Belinda, our server wasoutstanding, the food was delicious. The variety of options on the menu is great so if you’re not in the mood for steak, many other choices.
We will definitely be repeat diners!
Food was amazing! However, the restaurant, for being very new, was very dirty! The floor and window sills were very, very dirty and food covered. Additionally, we waited an extremely long time between courses.
I've heard so many good things about Davio's and this was the first time we have tried. Everything was perfect. Our server, Lindy was amazing - I have food allergies and she made sure that my Halibut was cooked perfect and it was. All four of us really enjoyed our steaks, halibut and lobster risotto. We will be back. Thank you, Davio's!
Our steaks were over cooked and no flavor but they recooked new steaks and they were much better
Our waiter James was really good
Customer Service was great but the food was subpar.
Excellent food and service but a bit pricey
Veronica our server was absolutely wonderful! I have never been to a place where they referred us by our name. She made sure she knew our names before we got there.
She was very knowledgeable of the menu, always there when we needed something and great attitude.
The food was great! Lobster risotto was perfect! There pastas are fresh and cooked perfect.
This is going to be added to our date night places we love.
Food was very average, maybe even below average for the price point. Did not seem authentic, more like chain restaurant. The drinks were good.
We celebrated our 15 anniversary.
2nd visit. It would’ve been pretty hard to top the 1st but this wasn’t even close. Extremely long wait for food and then it came out barely lukewarm! My shrimp were so tough I could barely cut through them. Not sure I’ll be back…beyond disappointed especially since we invited a friend to celebrate her birthda. 🙁
Friday night date night for our anniversary and everything was spot on. Our server Robin gave us fantastic recommendations and was friendly without being over the top. All the waitstaff introduces themselves which is a nice touch. All pasta is made in house and it shows. A nice option is they offer all the pastas as appetizer portions. My husband and I tried both the butternut squash agnolotti and the wild mushroom risotto. Both were amazing. I’ve never had such light airy risotto! And the agnolotti are just a little sweet without tasting like a dessert. The popovers they serve the table are insanely good too. Hard to stop eating them!
For entrees we had the salmon with eggplant caponata and the lobster risotto. Big portions, everything was cooked perfectly. Great cocktail list as well as a large selection of wines from around the world.
Dessert cart has something for everyone. We split the tiramisu and it didn’t disappoint! Flavorful and not heavy.
Davios is at the top of my list for a nice night out. Can’t go wrong!
