We went to Davio’s for a birthday celebration. The server helped make it a very enjoyable evening, complementing the excellent food and drink options. We were too full for dessert, but he even brought a special ‘birthday dessert plate’ to finish off a nice night.
Davio's always delivers a good meal in a quiet atmosphere. I've had a number of the entrees and none have disappointed. The salad with a protein for lunch is a go to, but I was disappointed with my shrimp that they only included 3 shrimp in the salad. Seemed like a rip-off when there's a $16 charge for it. Otherwise, always a good lunch!
The Cheesesteak Spring Rolls were very tasty. The food was well prepared, but was very bland, lacked seasoning and spices. The $45 8oz Prime Aged NY Strip steak was shockingly small, and all I could taste was the grill. The creamy potatoes were okay but were made with too much butter. The Asparagus had zero flavor. The chopped salad was okay but nothing special. The Tagliatelle Bolognese, Braised Veal, Beef, Pork, Tomato Sauce lacks flavor and the meat tastes more like ground beef. The management staff came by to visit and the waiter was excellent. I didn’t have the guts to tell them how bad the entrees were.
We had to wait almost a hour for springs rolls. The hostess made us wait 45 minutes to sit because we was early for our reservation yet people with no reservation sat down before us. Food was just okay. Will not be returning.

It was a nice place. Food was good but prices could be better. I liked the popovers as a starter. I'd suggest that they clean up the crumbs off the tablecloth like many other fancy restaurants. The popovers can get a bit messy. ;-)
Could have done more to make Valentines Day special for ladies. The food was okay. I had better food during previous visits.

The steak was amazing. And our server was very attentive. It’s was Valentine’s Day so the restaurant was packed but the noise level stayed appropriate.
Valentines Day.
My wife and I had a wonderful Valentines Day lunch at Davio's. The food quality, food choices, service, and food presentation were all outstanding. Not only will we recommend others to go there, we'll go back often ourselves.

Good family experience for the 10 of us
The food was really good. No other way to say that. The service was not. In my opinion the wait staff should know how things are prepared and should be able to make suggestions and pairings accordingly. I had a food allergy and the waiter was completely unhelpful. They get some large tips considering I have never gotten out of there for less than 100 per person. Their wine list is OK, their prices for wine are about over 4X the value of buying the bottle of wine which again is silly in my opinion. I have been there handful of times and I will give them one other try only because the food is really good. Also suggestion get a table against a wall, the noise levels in the restaurant are crazy loud. No I am not hard of hearing. Its bar scene loud, again in my opinion.

Good service and friendly server! Restaurant highly overpriced for food and drink! only for special ocassions! one blip was my food was undercooked and took too long then it was overcooked no manger or bill adjustment ! also my dtr ordered dessert and it never came! ugh

I can 't wait to return. This has become our " go to" restaurant for special occasions. We were there for Thanksgiving. Went back for my wife's birthday and am looking forward to my birthday. Decidedly my favorite restaurant.
Great food, great service
Davio’s was amazing! From the complimentary valet parking to the top-notch service and food, Davio’s made my birthday dinner fabulous. I ordered the Baby Iceberg Salad and roasted chicken. Both dishes were delicious. The salad’s presentation was beautifully done; almost too pretty to eat. I also ordered a pear martini which was also very tasty. My dinner companions ordered the lobster risotto and chicken as well. We thoroughly enjoyed our choices. This is definitely a restaurant we will revisit in the near future.
Our server was outstanding! Didn’t care for my warm spinach salad because the dressing was too bitter, however, I have had other meals that were excellent.

Chris was our waiter and did a great job. We were at a table in the back of the restaurant so the ambience was nice. We were definitely a take your time 4some and never felt rushed. Apps were great. I had the nightly dinner special - a lobster ravioli with crab that was excellent- could have been served hotter. Large servings where the leftovers became the next nights dinner!
We have eaten here several times and it is never a disappointment. The food is always delicious the service is always outstanding. I would absolutely recommend this place to anybody.

15th anniversary
Weak knockoff of Davio's in Philadelphia
First time dining at Davio’s and loved it. Food was delicious and flavorful and service was excellent. Our waiter was attentive, friendly and funny. Unfortunately, I can’t remember his name, but he was great. It was a bit loud as one of the reviews I read indicated, but it didn’t really take away from the experience. Just know if you’re looking for a place to have a nice quiet dinner, this might not be the place. Overall, great experience and will definitely return.
What an amazing time! Every single employee that interacted w it h us knew it was our anniversary! The food was outstanding with some of the best pork chops and scallops my wife and I have ever had! Server was super friendly and the GM even came to greet us. Since it was our anniversary and first time they even gave us our deserts for free! Thank you Davio’s for helping us make our tenth anniversary something special!
