In 1985, at the young and ambitious age of 24, Chef/Restaurateur Steve DiFillippo purchased a locally-owned family restaurant called Davio’s, on Newbury Street in Boston’s trendy Back Bay neighborhood. As Boston’s culinary tastes evolved, DiFillippo transformed the location into a dining destination for locals and visitors alike. He moved the restaurant to Arlington Street in Boston's Back Bay and retooled the menu, the space and the wine list. The new Davio’s soon garnered rave reviews and has been a staple in the Boston restaurant scene ever since.

I want to start by saying that Davio’s is one of my favorite places to go. That being said, this time was different. Food was bland for several members of our party and filet was not cooked even close to as requested. Popovers were brought out after appetizers were served and finished by the table. We had to ask for utensils several times as food was served without utensils on the table. The manager stopped by several times and apologized. He removed one of the entree’s from the bill and gave the birthday girl a free desert. Hopefully this was just a busy night and not indicative of a larger problem. I will be back in a couple weeks for a work function. Hoping for a better experience.

Very good restaurant. With the exception of overcooked steak I had to send back, everything was great. Would have appreciated a comp drink or dessert but none was offered. The check was $200+. Absolutely go back.

We were only there for lunch, but the food and service were perfect. Many options to choose from. Also have many gluten free options. Our server, Joey, was definitely the person that we would ask for when we return. Great personality. Miss the restaurant that was in Central Philly.

I ordered a medium rare 16oz ribeye steak for $78.00. High price even compared to the other prime steakhouses in the area. The steak delivered to the table was very rare and one of the worst cuts I have ever seen for a premier steakhouse. Nice restaurant, just avoid the steaks!

A wonderful experience for my family celebrating a birthday. My party of 7 was treated royally beginning with our greeting by the restaurant’s manager, Jason to an exquisite attentive to every need by our outstanding, professional, engaging and simply delightful server, Angelica and her colleagues. The food was wonderful, the ambiance spot on and everything about our experience could not have been better. Thank you Davio’s at King of Prussia!

Nice steakhouse treading dangerously close to the feel of a chain restaurant. The food is still great but the Last time I was hear a couple years ago it felt nicer. I understand the restaurant can’t dictate what patrons wear (or can they?) and you’d figure a $80 steak would warrant wearing some decent attire but the whole t-shirt / athletic wear look is not a great help to the ambiance as a whole.

We dined at the King of Prussia location. Took some friends who never dined there. They loved the food, service , and atmosphere. One of them asked for the “Keto” menu! I didn’t even know Davios had such a thing. They also have a GF menu upon request. Among the 4 of us we had appetizers including the octopus, the Romaine chopped salad. The entres included the Chilean sea bass, the scallop entre, prawns and a few other tasty items. The waiter, Fabian, was professional and attentive to our party. And I can’t forget Adam…I like lots of fresh ground pepper and he didn’t disappoint! Like us, our friends will visit again in the near future.

Visited for brunch Sunday. There were four people in our party, each of whom had something different. The waffle was amazing. The omelette and frittata were both excellent. And the chopped salad was made even more appetizing by the addition of a salmon topper.

Very disappointed by the risotto which was too salted . Also the increase in prices is not reasonable and is not reflected in the quality of the food and service. I will avoid Davio’s for dinner in the future.

We went for our 16th anniversary and I don’t think I’ve ever felt so welcomed and appreciated at a restaurant. Everyone went out of their way to make it a special evening! Thank you to our waiter, the host and hostess and all the other staff that stopped by to congratulate us. It felt amazing and well the meal was fabulous as well.

Visited Davio’s for my wife’s birthday. She was wished happy birthday at the check in stand, and by our waitress. The device was wonderful, and the food was absolutely delicious. We shared a cowboy steak and added the prawns. One of the best steaks we have had. Only thing I would say is the the prices( including drinks) are high, even for a nice steakhouse.

We enjoyed the Spaghettini, Chilean Sea Bass, Tagliatelle Bolognese, and Veal Tenderloin. All were spectacular. Our server, Eric, was professional, knowledgeable and very friendly. Will definitely return soon.

One of our favorite places to go for a special meal. It did not disappoint. It was Sunday brunch, we were there early so not crowded at all. The popovers are a fantastic start. Everyone in my group was pleased with their meals and the service was excellent.
