Great service, great steaks
This is my third time here. Our waiter Ben was outstanding. The food was excellent like before: Piccolo, Salmon & Filet. The manager (Amber) and owner (Steve) also stopped by which was a nice touch.
We can't get enough of Davio's! The services is always amazing, they really go above and beyond to check up on you and are one step ahead on anything you may need. My husband has a gluten allergy and loves that they have a lot of options for him(be sure to request the GF menu). Plus they have GF bread for him while I get to enjoy the fresh out of the oven Popovers! We have been 3 times and I've tried something different every time (the risotto, the fish and a steak), every single dish was exceptional. Seeing as this restaurant is fairly new it's easy to get a reservation, but I sure hope more people discover this place and it really succeeds.
Thomas was an excellent waiter..
Wonderful dining experience. Best steaks we have had in a restaurant. The staff was very attentive.
Valerie was a cordial and knowledgeable server. The prix fixe lunches were excellent. Ambience quiet and upscale.
Our server was excellent. Attentive, but not annoying and remembered everything. Very nice luncheon experience
Food was exquisite and portions were excellent. Very diverse menu with a lot of different options. Pasta entrees could be ordered as appetizers as well at half price. Ambiance and décor of interior was very elegant and comfortable. One of the best dining experiences I have had in Orange County.
Outstanding! Not to miss. Best filet in town. Cauliflower & spinach are both creative & yummy.
New Years eve
Dined here on New Year's eve early. I had the prix Fixe menu which was delicious -- lobster bisque, wagu beef, a filet for the entree with gnocchi and for dessert, a chocolate/vanilla cake with salted caramel ice cream and a macaroon. The husband had the crab cake and the veal chop. All were great. We were glad that we dined early for by time we left the restaurant was starting to crowd up.
We found a hair in our cheese platter the manager came and said sorry it was our first time we give them an other chance they brought our food and we find hair in our pasta also it was our reusing with old friend I didn want to make a big deal we spent over $600 for four and I was really disappointed
Excellent service from start to finish. Very accomodating chefs for special dietary needs. Just a great place .
Great food and easy to find location. Definitely worth visiting...
We tried Davio's out for lunch. We tried the Power lunch option menu, which was pretty good. Their corkage fee is $35 so they are really trying to discourage folks from bringing in their own wine- FYI. I also had my parking ticket validated which did not work and I had to pay $12.50 for an hour lunch. The service at the bar was very good. It's not inexpensive...
Good service and food. Parking was terrible. There was no one at the valet parking and it was not obvious where to go for free parking. Had to go into the restaurant to get instructions. On exit from parking, machine poorly lite and the card slot would not take the validated card. Some one came and rescued us and we were able to leave.
Their service was on point. The presentation was excellant and the food came out timely. My fillet had a great flavor so whoever you're getting your meat from, don't loose their phone number. I do think they need to open their seating areas up just a bit in order for customers and staff to pass through without difficulty. The seating was a little tight. Other than that, we had a delightful evening.
Great Food. Service was efficient, especially with restaurant being crowded. Area Loud, had to raise voices to interact with person across a round table (not because of any music, just background din) I felt like just another $400 table, not very special.
Enjoyed the dinner immensely. Well worth the 50 mile drive. I am a long time fan of Davio's in Boston and couldn't be happier that they have an Irvine location. The steak and side dishes were amazing and unlike many steakhouses, steak sauces are complimentary (Gorgonzola was superb).
We loved the food and the wait staff was perfect. We plan to return the next time we are in Orange County.
Love the high ceilings nice ambiance,
Very nice meat quality and menu in general. Variable noise levels and seating options. We were seated close to the door which made for an unpleasant level of traffic and conversations stalling by our table-side.
Book a small room in the restaurant for 10 food was great including steaks meatballs and pasta ...Definitely go back again
Was my first time to Davio's and it was excellent! Our server, Angel, was also excellent!! Will definitely go back!
Good service and food. Very enjoyable experience.
We were celebrating our wedding anniversary. The food, service and overall experience was outstanding. Can’t wait to go back.
My colleagues and I had our Christmas Dinner at Davio's. Had a great experience overall. I highly recommend Tommy. He is knowledgeable with the menu and gave us great recommendations on what to try for appetizers and dinner.

Unfortunately, a disappointing experience here on Saturday night. First, had to wait 30 minutes past our reservation time before being seated (a party of four) and it was not crowded. Lots of excuses given which made no sense since we could see all the open tables. Ordered drinks at the bar, bar staff nice enough and good cocktails. Second, once seated, we were in the restaurant for more than an hour before the first morsels of food arrived. Our friendly waitperson brought out two meatballs in marinara sauce as an apology for the wait. Best bite of the evening as it would happen. Third, the taste of the food was disappointing . . . their famous egg rolls (and we tried the sampler plate) were virtually tastless. Our pasta course--which arrived at the same time as our entree (another problem)--the veal Agnolotti--was also tastless. The house-made pasta had a very nice consistency, but the filling was tasteless. The only taste component in the dish was the Truffle Jus. Since this arrived at the same time as our main--a 16 oz grilled rib eye--we ate everything together. We'd ordered the steak medium rare, it arrived closer to medium well. At this point in the meal (we've been seated for nearly 90 min), we ate it and didn't complain. We also ordered a side of green beans with crispy Guanciale (cured pork jowl). The beans were flavorless and the crispy pork was like eating small salt cubes. The young manager visited to apologize for the wait. We provided some feedback on the timing of the meal and a little on the food itself. He's from the East Coast (location of the mothership for this chain), as our we, so it was a comfortable encounter. He took the veal agnolotti off the bill. Nice touch, but that didn't make any of us feel better about the over-all dining experience. A party of four leaving at the same time we did were also complaining about their experience as they walked out the door--good to know that our experience was not unique.
Nice restaurant for a birthday dinner. Very festive atmosphere. Delicious appetizers and steak. Corkage fee is too high.
Kevin (from Atlanta restaurant) was on top of everything!
Fish was great
My steak was spot on!
Appetizers were delicious and creative.
We sat in the restaurant but the bar looked like a great spot too.
It was our anniversary and the management & staff were on it. Great personalized service. Relaxed atmosphere. No rushing. Very impressive wine list -- French, Italian, and American selections. Something for everyone on the menu--Steak, Fish & Pasta. Will definitely return. Thank you for a memorable time.
Great ambiance and wonderful wait staff. Food was delicious. Would highly recommend.
Very disappointed. Despite a reservation, we were sat 15 minutes late. The restaurant was noisy, and the food was "ok" but expensive.
Good food but expensive
The food is wonderful. The spring rolls are must order!
They are still working out the kinks of being a new restaurant. The white napkins used as tablecloths doesn't work; either a tablecloth or none. GF options were numerous.
Great restaurant with incredible food and service! I highly recommend this restaurant for any and all occasions. Love their Sunday Brunch too!
Very good food and excellent service. We were a party of 9 and went there for Sunday brunch. Great selection of menu items. Each of us ordered a different item off the menu and everyone enjoyed the food. Valet parking for $6.00.
Service and food was spectacular. This is a great addition to the fine restaurants in Irvine.
If they could just put some fabric in the decor, the noise level would come down considerably. It's the only thing that keeps me from giving 5 stars all around. I speak for a living, and I cannot scream at dinner! I don't just go to a restaurant simply to eat, we cook well at home. We go to enjoy company and conversation. Please please remedy the noise level. I'd love to return!!
