This was our third visit to Davio’s and it’s just wonderful! I made special arrangements with the management team as I was surprising my husband with our adult kids flying in to join us for his birthday celebration. Uri was on the floor that evening (4/19/19) and he was completely filled in on the plan and made it work beautifully. Our server Val was exceptional! She has served us before and is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and a lovely lady. Thanks to the whole team at Davio’s for making dining there a memorable and delightful experience!!
Davio’s is an outstanding restaurant with excellent food. We very much appreciated the semi private room they gave us for our anniversary celebration.
The only problem was the waiter who seemed totally clueless. He asked if I wanted my Gnocchi appetizer to come with the appetizer course. I said yes but it arrived only a few seconds before the main course was served. They were excellent. I asked several questions about the two pork chop items on the menu. He confirmed that I wanted the regular, single cut entree item, not the double cut separate item. He brought the double cut without the sides that were part of the entree. It was excellent but not what I wanted and not what I ordered. Next he brought the dessert cart. He described and showed the items on it. One was a bowl of berries with two stuffed Cannolis on the fruit. I said I would like the two Cannolis. Yup, he brought just the two stuffed Cannolis on a saucer. Again, they were excellent. But not what I ordered.
Sounds pretty grim! It wasn’t the food was wonderful as as the ambiance. I will definitely go again but if I get the same waiter, I will request a change.
The only reason why I scored Davios a 4 and not 5 is that for LUNCH, pricing is way out of line. For dinner, not a problem. (Example: 2 pasta dishes and water = well over $60). Food and service were excellent.
This review is based on the lunch I had with a friend recently.
Our waitress Joanna was fantastic. She was very helpful with advice about the menu and did not rush us.
We both had the 3-course daily special which was a good size meal but not overwhelming. The tortilla soup was a special item not normally on the regular menu and was good. The salad was also very good.
Entrees were shrimp and hanger steak which were well prepared. The small chocolate dessert was rich and tasty.
By comparison, ordering a la carte for similar items would have been much more expensive. So, for lunch, I recommend the 3 course special (at $27, and additional $10 for hanger steak).
I will return for dinner at another time but would expect a much more expensive check.

It often seems like Orange County restaurants fail to deliver a full package -- exceptional food, great professional and friendly service, nice pleasant atmosphere, good music, and a touch of something else added in to generate a feeling like the night out is a treat. Several local restaurants get one or two of these things right, a few get several, but almost none hit every mark. Davios is one that hits all of those metrics! A very welcome addition to the area! We love the Davios in Philadelphia and were pleased that this one mostly matched its quality. Jermaine was an exceptional server.

A lot of money was spent renovating this airport haunt, but it still the same crowd. Great place for a business lunch
Business Lunch-only down side, requested no red peppers on 2 lunch salads ( faro, avocado, etc) and both were served with red peppers. Mentioned to Waiter and he just brushed off and pretty much said to eat around ? Not the answer you wish when you're paying $12 + for the salad and another $8 for the protein !
My girlfriend brought me to the restaurant 2 weeks ago and since then I have been back twice with 2 different people. The food is outstanding. The salmon is to die for. My girlfriend got one of the pastas and she said it was phenomenal. The service was excellent as well. Very attentive. Will be back!
The foods were so delicious and service was great.
The only thing We weren’t happy with was the very steep corkage fee at $35 for a bottle. Yikes!!!!!!@@@$&&@@@
Delicious food but very pricey. Good for business lunch or dinner.
Went there for lunch and ordered the power lunch expected to be in and out in an hour but the service was slow and we were there for about 1.5 hours. Also the server never brought the dessert that came with the power lunch.
the service was outstanding. The food and presentation very good. An enjoyable evening where we were not rushed.
Lovely place with old world service however , the food was hood but not great and everything is ala carte and very expensive for what you get
I ordered grilled salmon n vegetables and that alone was almost $50
Ive dined st dined at some expensive fabulous places in the world
And I expected the good to be so much more
I will not be returning, so many places to eat for just good food

We came to celebrate a friend’s birthday. We were genially greeted by our server, Vanessa, who made the evening memorable! From wine suggestions to working with us on ordering to serving family style she was a dream! We took her advice on two seasonal specials which we enjoyed immensely, the ravioli with limoncello sauce and the steak Oscar. We would suggest blackout shades on the western facing windows because as the sun set, it was blinding to our guests facing that direction. They wiggled and moved around our table to avoid the sun but.....we will definitely come again and request Vanessa!
Outstanding food and service! Went last week for the first time and already brought a friend and returned yesterday! Scottish salmon with eggplant is out of this world! I will be back soon!
Crab cake appetizer was delicious, pastas were awesome, and the bread was ridiculously good. To top it all off, server was very attentive and personable. Wonderful experience at this restaurant. Highly recommended.
Noisy, conversation difficult, just not the intimate ambiance we prefer for fine dining.

Service and ambiance were very good. Was disappointed in the steaks - I ordered the ribeye med rare but only a small portion in the middle was med rare, the rest was between medium and medium well. A colleague ordered the flat iron medium and it came out well done. The flavor was still very good so you can tell the meat was high quality and the seasoning was done right. We enjoyed the philly cheese steak spring rolls and mac n cheese truffles, the brussel sprouts could have used more seasoning and char. More vegan and vegetarian options would be welcome - I understand it's a steakhouse but when you are taking a team to dinner these days there is almost always someone in the group with dietary restrictions so it would be nice to have some solid options for them so the rest of the group can enjoy the steakhouse experience! As for dessert, the gelato with espresso was very good, the cheesecake was quite bland.
Everything was perfect . When we first went a few months ago there were a few flaws. Our most recent visit was flawless. We will definitely return .

Food was delicious, beautiful restaurant, did not see server last half hour we were there and main course took one and a half to two hours to come out,
Our waiter was exceptional. One of the best we have ever had. My one recommendation would be to change the position of the check in station. Very awkward and I feel sorry for the people sitting in the booth next to it. Otherwise, a great experience.

Prepare for some good and some not so good dishes. The food here is heavy and rich. We shared chopped salad and fresh baked bread and that alone filled us up. Pass on the chicken marinara appetizers. I ordered the filet medium and most of steak was "chewy ". The service however was the highlight of the evening. They do go out of their way to try and please.

We had a pleasant meal and the restaurant week menu was a good value. The pork was a little over cooked but they were nice enough to make another. The service was a little slower than we are used to but I think they thought that was what we wanted. Overall we would go back.
Steaks not the best. Kitchen prep irregular timing. Forgot sides, host did not relay that it was a b-day celebration. Meal took way longer than it should have. Desserts good.

We went for dinner to celebrate a friend’s birthday. We waited quite a while at our table before finally being welcomed and asked for a drink order. Our waiter was lovely but seemed very busy and I could say the service was slow or leisurely. The food was delicious!! We’ll give it another try....
We really enjoyed our experience. Food, serivce and ambiance was great. There was a service mix up with two of our dinner plates and they fixed it immediately.
Very nice restaurant with very attentive server. The pasta was a bit oversauced. The filet was very good as well as the salmon. The bread is delicious!
