    We had a late reservation on Thanksgiving..staff seemed to be packing it in early..took literally half an hour to get our drinks..food was fair (salty and steaks were overcooked). We have been coming here for several years for Thanksgiving dinner..will be looking elsewhere..we were all disappointed..and for a $300 meal for four..would have expected a lot more..

    Overall it was a very pleasant evening. Our table was ready on time, the wait staff attentive but unobtrusive, the wine selection was excellent. The Maine lobster risotto and butternut squash caramel in cacio e Pepe were stand outs! I highly recommend! Other members of the party who had the tagliatelle bolognese were equally happy. If you like desserts, the assortment on the dessert cart made it very difficult to choose. I would recommend ordering off the menu. The surf and turf special was disappointing and is the only reason I didn't give 5 stars. It arrived with 1 1/2 scallops and a very peppery sauce on the steak that obscured the taste of the meat. We would definitely visit Davio's again.

    My family and I thoroughly enjoyed the food especially the pastries. Hats off to the pastry chef. The staff did a terrific job in preparing paints and pumpkins. The little treats for the kids was extremely nice and thoughtful. It’s no wonder why your restaurant is and will be so successful.     The food and service were good, but the food was outrageously overpriced, and we didn't even get salads like you get at other places. Out of the 2 of us, only one was drinking alcohol, and we still paid over $300 for 2 meals. We just checked other prices for comparable dishes at some of the Boston area's high-end chains, and to our surprise, they were cheaper than Davio's. The restaurant wasn't even half full on a Saturday night.

    The ambiance for this restaurant is nice despite what appears to be walk-in traffic from the mall. The prices are a little high, but you have to pay for quality.

    My wife and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary at we chose Davio’s in Braintree, MA. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with smiles and “happy anniversary”. Perry was our server and he was friendly, attentive, helpful, and professional. Our meal was amazing. We love Davio’s and will continue to come back time and time again. Scott and Dori Ployer.

    I ordered a strip steak medium, and was brought a very rare filet , I asked to replace it with a strip and was brought the same filet back, I understand mistakes happen but it would be nice to see a manager somewhere on the floor, it was a birthday dinner for me and my girl and I was very disappointed,

    I quite enjoy Davio's food and aesthetic, I was surprised it was quiet on a Sunday during brunch time. We enjoyed ourselves outside and had some cocktails and two great chicken dishes. Definitely would recommend it for your next date spot!

    The last two visits to Davio’s Braintree did not meet my expectations. My medium rare steak came out raw; I did send it back to be cooked. The steak was hard to cut into; not tender; and it was chewy. Not worth the price to me. I used to really enjoy it. It will be awhile until I retry it.

    The service was atrocious. From start to finish the meal was not well enjoyed. What we ordered for drinks and our main course was not what we ordered and had to send both back to be revised. This was a 10 year anniversary dinner while on vacation and it left us disappointed more than ever as it was our last meal before flying home.

    It was our anniversary celebration which we noted on the reservation. Everyone who greeted us from the Hostess the the beverage waitress to the waiter wished us a happy anniversary. There was even a card for us at the table. Servers was prompt, courteous, friendly, personable and engaging. All the food was delicious and prepared perfectly. We had a wonderful evening.

    Eight people in party and only one meal worth the price. One meal not edible. For the price of dinners must give a poor rating. Very disappointing

    The food was delicious especially the Brussel sprouts which we would recommend to try even if your not a vegetable person just one taste will have you wanting the recipe from the chef. The bread was delicious as well and the servers were all attentive, helpful, and very knowledgeable. Thank you Davio’s for such an awesome night to celebrate my husband birthday.

    The bread was the best part of the meal! Absolute cloudy fluffy heaven with butter. The lychee martini was too sweet. The Philly spring rolls appetizers were just ok. The livers were too dry. The mignon was tasteless and the prime aged steak was just ok. I can do better at home on a skillet . No flavor of any kind present. Side of organic mushrooms again just average . The dessert was Panna Cotta - but I would never have guessed it since that dessert in Milan, Portofino and the Dolomites doesn't taste like soapy custard. Overall it was just ok and the price was certainy outrageous for a just an ok meal. And it was Friday night and the place was 2/3 empty .

    Food was great. Service was generally excellent. Portions good. Its Boston prices at the South Shore mall. Thats really the only thing that sticks with us. We will go back but if the location was more interesting we’d be regulars.

    We had a family birthday celebration with 7 adults and a child. Our waiter was very attentive at first and then once we got our apps and meal, service became very slow. The food was excellent but prices a bit steep especially for cocktails and beer. Since it was a Wednesday evening, the restaurant was not particularly busy but there may have been a lack of servers. Also the temperature in the restaurant was very hot as if the heat was on and there was no air conditioning. The rest rooms were nice and cool which made us believe there was an issue with the AC.

    This was a fabulous dining experience because of delicious food, outstanding service by Julio and Alejandro, and a wonderful atmosphere. I’ve never had anything but exceptional dining experiences at this Davio’s. And this was no exception.

    Great drinks, dinner and service. The dining area was clean and well maintained however it was too dark. Most of the patrons were the using their cellphone flashlights to see the menu. We were at a well lit table so we didn't have that issue however it discouraging to see people of all ages finding it hard to see. Other than that, my first experience at Davio's was a 8 out of 10.
