A basic good restaurant, depending on what you order. Seafood pasta was great. Arancini balls has more cheese than rice. Not to my liking but may be yours. Dumplings were ok. Meat was undercooked but the waitress did a miraculous job getting new meat replacement in minutes. Service was the best part.

My husband really enjoyed the open faced lobster ravioli. It was delicious. I enjoyed the scallops, although there were only 4. I wish there were one or two more. My daughter ordered the lobster roll and was disappointed. She was surprised to find it came on a hamburger bun. She hoped for a grilled hot dog bun. She was disappointed in the amount of lobster and said there was too much bread for the amount of lobster. On the other hand, the beet, bacon and avocado salad was splendid. I'd order that again and again. Our server was okay. All business, and not much more.

$40 for a lobster roll that was on a bun. It was plain lobster, no butter, no mayo, nothing and there was not enough lobster to cover the bun....real disappointing to receive this in Maine. I hope it is not the first 'lobster roll' a tourist tries.... The steak tenderloins were burnt even though I ordered medium rare - no pink in the middle they were cooked through. They tasted like a dirty grill. Overall, very disappointed. I will not visit here again especially with the competition in the area that puts this place to shame.

My guest and I had a great meal at David’s Monument Square before a show at the State Theater. Trust me: Order the meatloaf! It is absolutely out of this world. My only complaint is that we were seated next to the kitchen so the noise level was pretty high.

Really delicious! Visiting Portland with college friends from years past. This establishment was very enjoyable. Diverse enough menu to please each of us. We enjoyed the meatloaf, duck breast and beef tips special. All served beautifully and well enjoyed. Loved the ambiance.
