El chef y propietario David Turin abrió el establecimiento David en 1998, en la histórica plaza Monument Square, en el distrito de las artes de Portland, Maine.     David’s Monument Square was an excellent experience. Ambiance is cozy with a modern flair! Our server Daniel was super friendly, attentive and helpful with choosing our food. Food was very good. From a juicy burger to mushroom ravioli. I can’t wait to return!

    This was our first return to dine at David's at Monument Square in Portland, ME in a number of years; it sure did not disappoint in any way and was even better this time around. The service as provided by our servor, Ted, was both welcoming and flawless. We enjoyed wonderful cocktails and a lovely glass of wine with dinner. The Squash Fritter special apetizer was scrumptous, as was the excellent and flavorful Beet and Avocado Salad. We both enjoyed the absolutlely outstanding dinner special of freshly made Fetuccini in an oh so flavorful Vodka Arabiata Sauce with Shrimp that was just "knock your socks off." Can't wait to come back on our next trip to Portland.

    We had never been to David’s and I picked the restaurant randomly because it was near my daughter’s graduation. I made the perfect choice! The food was incredible and so delicious, our waiter was wonderful and everything was just perfect for our special day! Thank you to everyone at David’s!!

    Our server was prompt, friendly , accommodating, and made our experience enjoyable. The food was delicious, and the drinks were, as my son said, “on point”. We would come back again the next time we’re in Portland!
