An eclectic restaurant in the heart of Christiansted St. Croix USVI. Specializing in sushi and asian cuisine. Offering a funky indoor air-conditioned dining room and bar and covered outdoor dining in a garden setting. Large variety of sushi, classic combinations and our own interesting creations. Also offering full menu of appetizers, soups/salads, and entrees with an asian flair. Pleased to offer nightly specials, freshly shucked oysters, housemade desserts and ice cream, and "Indian Night" every Thursday.

Dashi is always a fun place to eat. It is nothing fancy. The tables are a little rickety, but the cushioned booths are quaint. The service has ALWAYS been professional, knowledgeable and attentive. For a sushi restaurant in the middle of the Caribbean the food is good and plentiful. The location is convenient. Could use a bit more ambiance and maybe a "no hats" indoor policy for men. Overall, I give it 4 stars and will come back again.

I haven’t had sushi in a few years and sad i waited this long knowing Dashi was so close! Service: Cassie was OUTSTANDING from the moment we got there until we left! She explained the menu thoroughly and could tel she knew each item! Sat outside and it was a great atmosphere... not sure it can get much better!! Well done!!

Could be a truly charming place, in spite of location in general shopping area. We sat on the patio, which is actually a pleasant set-up except that the lights strung around it had numerous bulbs and some entire strings out. We had a reservation but it was obviously unnecessary since there were many empty tables. However, when another party walked up and asked for a table (without a reservation), she acted as though it might be difficult...then said she could "squeeze them in now" since many more tables were coming in a little later. Those other reservations never materialized. Don't lie to the few people you have supporting your restaurant! You need them! The food was good and the service was great -- it's the way the place is being run that will be its downfall.
