I went for a girls night out. The ambiance was nice, our waiter was very attentive and nice. I ordered the fried chicken with candied yams and mac and cheese. The chicken wasn't that tasty, I like the wings better. When the live jazz comes on , it is very loud and is hard to conversate and hear.

Darryl's is one of our favorite Wednesday night destinations because of the great live music and delicious soul food. This week I had their fabulous gumbo and crab cakes. Can't wait for next Wednesday!

Darryl’s has amazing food. The service is terrific, and the music is amazing. When they have live music, it can be loud enough that across-the-table conversation can be difficult, but that is to be expected. It’s a feature, not a bug.😀 I love that they apply a reasonable surcharge per guest (added to bill) to support the musicians. Their brunch was so good! Loved the grits, Mac n cheese, collards, ribs, fried chicken, and red beans and rice. You don’t leave hungry!

Amazing food, great ambiance, excellent live music. Our waitress and host were super friendly and engaging. I just Love Darryl’s.

I always love going to Darryl's but the weekends are always busy. I made a reservation for 7:15PM and we did not get seated until 7:40PM. The live music makes it difficult to have conversations without yelling so wouldn't recommend going here for a first date. But overall, the food is amazing, drinks are good and the live music is always on point!

I ordered the crab cakes and they were not fresh. I would go as far as saying they came from a box.. i just got back from Maryland a few days ago and these crab cakes should not be named Maryland crab cakes. There is no comparison... i tasted a few of my friends meal and it was good..

Reservation at 7pm, arrived on time table ready, music was great, maybe it was the waitresses first night... she sucked. Food was cold and our plates looked nothing like the plates next to us... not a good first experience, I probably won’t go back
