   We love this place, stuff for the kids to do and space to run around, beautiful surroundings and whilst there is only a few things on the menu, the food is always delicious. Service is always so friendly and welcoming and the cocktails are good too. Definitely a hidden gem.

   Such a lovely, relaxing place to visit. Not a huge menu, but what we all had was so good and the service was very prompt. Time was taken at the bar to explain all the different ciders and cocktails on offer. Being that it was such a hot day, maybe more fans could have been up in the marquee but that’s the only suggestion I could have because everything else was great.

   Horrible experience drank cocktails and cider from plastic cups Ordered food and was brought out in boxes and we were given wooden cutlery. No toilets onsite no running water to was your hands . Booked a table for 10 people when we arrived table wasn’t set up waited for 10 minutes until they added another table and chairs. Very disappointed

   Sorry to hear you didn’t enjoy your experience at the cider house. There are of course toilets onsite and sinks to wash your hands, as a licensed venue we would not be allowed to operate without them. And just to clarify, they are not plastic cups but plant-based bio-cups, fully compostable. And yes we use cardboard boxes and wooden cutlery, all fully compostable. Our decision was based on a desire to control our use of electricity and water by limiting our washing up of dishes and reduce our environmental impact. These materials also allow us to take full advantage of Macedon Ranges council’s FOGO system. As a food truck venue we also think this style of casual dining suits us fine, and seems to work well with lots of people. Not everyone of course 😊 -DV Cider Family

   Food truck menu was meant to be available on the day we had booked for. On the day we were told only a modified menu was available. Very disappointing. Food lacked spice and flavour, missed the mark for us. Small amount of food for an exuberant price. We were all still hungry after eating the BBQ plate and very disappointed, as this place was recommended by a friend.

   Fantastic location, wonderful outdoor area and great cosy indoor area aswell. Food and drink were wonderful, staff friendly. Highly recommended

   Really lovely setting. The food was limited but what they did serve was amazing. The ciders were delicious. The set up is great and it's great for children. Service was relaxed and friendly.
