    Inconsistent flavour, texture, service. Been there quite often but the satisfaction level was up and down. Sometimes good, sometimes disappointing. And this time is the worst we ever experienced. The service friendliness needs to be improved, no smile and rushing us to put in the order, but the food came out so late. Also, at the beginning we mentioned for the entree and the mains to come out all together, but the entree arrived first, and waited long time for the mains, and also we didnt get the mains all together at the same time. Garlic Ciabatta no garlic flavour, not raising properly, very very hard to bite, chilli oil not spicy at all, no parmesan cheese to be offered on the table (used to, but not anymore), pasta way too oily, overcooked and tasteless, pesto didnt taste like pesto.

    The food was lovely, as was the noise level and ambience of the outside courtyard area! The service was very slow and we often had to ask for updates on where drinks and food orders were. When we walked through the restaurant to the toilets, it was crazily loud inside, which made us appreciate the calmness and quiet atmosphere of the outside courtyard even more! Overall it was a nice dinner, but could have been quicker.

    We had such a great time, the food was delicious! One of my friends is GF and said that it was the best pasta she ever had.. The staff was lovely and the atmosphere outside soo nice. Will highly recommend it to anyone I know! Thanks team!

    Darlings Pasta Club offers fantastic service in a cool and suave space, the staff are attentive and efficient. I always go back for the pumpkin tortellini!

    We had an all round wonderful dining experience. The service was second to none, food was delicious and very good value for money considering the high quality dishes. We will definitely be back

    Lovely venue and the food was amazing!! Had prawn tagliatelle and chorizo pappardelle and a salad. All the flavours so good and pasta texture excellent.

    I cannot fault the food, it was delicious! We felt the service wasn't the best, the attentiveness could improve. The little tables were a bit of a dilemma for us as we ordered multiple dishes which could not fit it all. They resolved the issue with using a bar stool as a second table. But it basically joined our table to the table next to us which made it awkward when the people arrived. They were not happy which also made me feel embarrassed. We still had put the water jug and empty bottles on the bench seat next to us. The atmosphere and astatic was on point, but could improve on practicality.

    Pasta was lovely, risotto was over cooked. Ordered a garlic Ciabatta with the meal, it came at the end of the meal, so I sent it back. We weren't charged for Ciabatta, and had two drinks discounted. This was early on a very quiet Sunday evening. Still $127 for 3 meals and 2 drinks.

    Unfortunately the worst meal we have ever had, extremely disappointed in this place. The wait time was ridiculous, 50 minutes, the garlic bread came out burnt and rock hard, and the food was all super stodgy with absolutely no flavour, thank god for the salt and pepper on the table to make it edible. All five of us ordered something different and it all just tasted like soggy pasta water, will not recommend especially with the prices they are asking for the poor quality. Never again

    This was our first time at Darling's so we were curious to discover their food. First impressions in the outdoor seating area - spacious, breezy but a little too dimly lit, resolved once we were given a lovely little lamp for the table. The chorizo and squid ink pasta dishes were delicious, but the chorizo pasta dish with vegan pasta for our hungry 14 year old guest with egg allergy was underwhelming and not very satisfying compared with the non vegan version, with what seemed to be a smaller serve and less chorizo than the non vegan version. The tomato and mozzarella salad on the other hand was very tasty and a very generous serve. Overall the price point is a bit too high, despite the good flavours and decent wine list. We paid just shy of $170 for 3 people including 3 mains, tomato salad and bottle of Chardonnay. Would return for a special occasion though.

    Advised staff we will be 15 minutes late and the staff were kind enough to hold our table. We were seated quickly, and put our orders within 10 minutes. Been told previously that they could take a while serving their pastas so we ordered the Frito Misto and the Arancini (3) for our entrees. Arancini balls were large and was enough for 2 people, but unfortunately both entrees were bland despite adding pepper and putting some of the Frito Misto sauce. Mains were served quickly (as opposed to being told previously by another patron that it could be a 45-minute wait) which were the Chorizo Papardelle and Prawn Taglatelli. Could only really taste the slight spiciness of the chorizo which was ok, but the taglatelli didn't quite hit the mark. Again, added salt and pepper but this did not elevate the flavour. Both pastas were both well-cooked just lacked flavour unfortunately. Was really keen to visit this restaurant since it opened and felt a bit let down. Would be willing to visit again in a couple months' time but not anytime soon.

    Garlic bread was rock hard and had no garlic taste, food was barely average, lamb ragu had no sign of tomato sauce. Pasta did not look handmade. Disappointing

    A great vibe, the food wait time was long but we were pre warned and the ambience and vibe made the time go fast being able to enjoy some drinks and socialise. The food was well worth the wait and we can’t wait to come back. We had the squid pasta, bolognaise and the carbonara the only thing was would have liked a little more protein in the meals. The flavours and seasoning made the dishes pop.

    Spent $95 on two main meals and two entrees. The entrees were really good but the pasta’s were disappointing, especially the lamb shank pasta which costed $38 and it was such a waste of money in my opinion. It had no flavour, it seemed as if you just boiled the pasta and put it on the plate. The lamb shank was very small and what was with that blob of cheese? For $38, definitely expected it to be at least more than that. My partner just ate the lamb shank and left the rest. Also your tables are so tiny you cant even fit anything on there and the lighting was horrible. Defs the first and the last time we’ll be going. I never write reviews but needed to say something on this one, just plain bad.

    This restaurant offers great service, a beautifully designed decor, a welcoming and calm ambience and very importantly world class, tasty food. The Margarita was delicious and the bread was excellent. Parking is easy and the staff are very professional.

    Darlings has a nice decor and vibe. Staff were friendly knowledgeable and helpful in choosing dishes. The duck fillet was fantastic, however the rest of the food was terrible. Mushroom risotto was bland and gluggy - rice stuck together. It had obviously been sitting in the plate for a long time. The carbonara was tasteless and had a runny texture. Where was the speck and cheese? No offer of ground pepper to help? When we complained to the waitress she offered to do something but we didn’t hear back from her. We didn’t eat any of it and there was no offer to not charge. Disgraceful. It used to be good there.

    Absolutely amazing - definitely a hidden gem in Darwin CBD. There were only about 5 or 6 other tables that had people at them. During happy hour there were $6 sangrias, $20 pastas, $4 arancini balls that were huge - overall super satisfied with absolutely everything. Definitely get the garlic bread!! There was a cocktail called something like 'passionate'... OMG game changer. I have nothing bad to say about the place. Well done!

    Loved the charcutterie board - a very good range of tasty foods. Our table enjoyed Carbonara Penne, the Prawn Tagliatelle and the Broccolini Tagliatelle along with a few cocktails such as Passionate and Ginger Fizz.

    Wonderful venue for our celebratory dinner. Easy to book and communication throughout was fabulous. There were 15 in our group and all meals were served in a timely manner and proclaimed delicious. Gluten free options available and staff were friendly and helpful despite a busy night. I would definitely recommend booking ahead to secure a table. We will visit again.

    Upon arrival the atmosphere is nice, was attended to promptly. From being seated to order taken it was within 5 mins, food took over 45mins and that was with telling the kitchen after 30 mins we had to leave in 15 mins to make it to our event.

    Food and service was lovely. However the wooden bench gave me a splinter. The layout is a little confusing. The tables are very small, it was hard to fit our drinks, entry and mains on one table.
