   Overall we enjoyed the ambiance rooftop experience. We were greeted with a host at the entrance with our ID and then again at the elevator and also when we arrived at the rooftop. Food options for brunch was limited. The service was good. The DJ was on set so it got a little loud along with other conversations if you don’t mind that.

   This whole place was a vibe from the time that we checked in till the time that we left. Very aesthetically pleasing. All the team members were nice! Great staff. Very hospitable. Chill DJ. We definitely enjoyed ourselves!!!

   This was our first time at Darling Aviary. Great staff, food, and atmosphere. We wished they offer other outdoor seating options in addition to the high top tables with metal stools. We will definitely return.

    This brunch was amazing! My daughter actually chose the place, even though the rest of us are semi picky eaters, we all enjoyed it and left full. The karaage and pancakes were excellent and loco moco also a safe and well executed choice. It had such a unique vibe with the Dj and the staff mixed with the colorful rooftop and the food! We will be back again, definitely something different that downtown Sacramento needed. Big thank you to our server Kristine and general manager Johnny for checking in on us!

    If you have friends or fam in town— TAKE THEM HERE. Go for the rooftop vibes, keep coming back for the bomb grapefruit palomas and best service in Sacramento. Everyone who greeted and waited on us was amazing.

    Beautiful ambiance, great vibes, social distanced and felt comfortable with my personal space in relation to other people. Food is perfectly portioned, burgers are juicy and flavorful - vegan patty is just as delicious! The Dickcissel and the Phoenix were my favorite burgers! Had some great Tequila and cocktails.     Nice space! Everyone was very friendly all around, including at the door. I really hope it stays that way, even as it gets busier. Our server was amazing! I can’t remember her name but she was Indian (that was part of our conversation) and she was so friendly and super quick with everything. Wonderful attitude. Literally perfect. I would seriously go back just for her. I really loved everything about this experience except the $10/person reservation charge, and to be completely honest, the drinks. I’m writing this as constructive criticism because I like this place a lot and want it to succeed. The drinks are not good. Sacramento is finally entering the cocktail world, and based on what I had here tonight, Aviary isn’t there at all, but maybe they’re not trying to be that type of place, I don’t know. But it’s such a nice space, it deserves good cocktails and a good glass of sparkling (right now there’s a sweet cava on there). Great cocktails can still be approachable and a few small adjustments could make all the difference! I’ve worked at a bunch of NYC rooftop bars and I think Aviary could turn the tide of K Street establishments in this area. It’s a beautiful space, so it can offer great craft cocktails, expand the already great burger menu, and keep it classy, or just fit in with all the other spots in this area and sling bad drinks in a beautiful space to whoever will buy them. I’m not trying to sound pretentious, but I really hope they choose the classy route. Also, I’ve only been here once, so I have only tried a couple of their drinks, to be fair. As of now, this place is great and the people make it great and the ambience makes it great and I could always come back up and drink vodka sodas. I will definitely be back. Wishing Aviary all the best! P.S. The bartender had her mask hanging completely off her face the entire time. You work in a restaurant, you’re visible, and you’re making people’s drinks.     I really enjoyed my time at Darling Aviary. The staff was very nice and the ambiance was great. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because our loaded fries took nearly 30 minutes to get out. I also wish there was more space on the rooftop. It was a bit of a tight fit. Other than those things, I loved it. I will definitely be coming back.

    The Darling Aviary has a great view and ambience. The people in the front (Security and the hostess) were amazing. I like the they have incorporated to get customers to their seats in a timely manner. Service was a bit slow at first but once we got rolling it took no time to get our drinks and food. My only complaint is that it is getting cold and more heat lamps are needed or they need to let diners know that they should definitely bring a coat.

    I had been waiting to go to this new what I thought would be an upscale rooftop lounge/bar. Having to pay a $10/ person cover to basically hold our table and then get there and realize there’s plenty of tables available. Then we sat down and it was a chilly evening but the three heaters weren’t enough to warm the guests and then one was out of propane too! The food they serve is very poor quality as it’s just like an in n out situation. The fries tasted like curly fries from Jack in the box and all in all for what they were advertising this place to be they need to change the food to a little more upscale. Everyone was dressed very nice there and to eat cheeseburgers and fries just doesn’t go with the ambience or clientele. My drink was good. Our server was good. We just don’t think this place will survive with how many were working and how little of a crowd was there. I also overheard a guy come up and say to the waiter that he wanted to order right away cause he is not staying long. He obviously felt as if it was advertised differently than what he saw.     Subpar. I was expecting it to larger but the space is reasonable. The music was too low key, mellow, and a little boring. The drinks were great though! I would recommend this to a mature audience.

    Okay, so with little info, you have to check this place out, right? See that reservations are advised, but lo and behold, the reservations come with a charge. You google to see what that's about. It's essentially a cover charge. Yep, that's it. The only thing you get for the cost of your reservation is the pleasure of being seated. Cool cool, still interested in checking it out? Well, first, don't drive and park. It is a bar after all but it's also right next to the G1C area so good luck on the parking (though light rail is right up front). Second, check out that menu. What menu? Yep, there's burgers and fries. They have a vegan patty, and gluten free option is no bun. That's it kids. And drinks. It's a bar. Just a bar. You better get real lucky to get the seats along the edges of the rooftop, otherwise you'll likely be sitting right under the club atmosphere speakers. So that's it. If it's a busy night, pay the cover to guarantee your spot. If you're looking for a hip bar vibe, they're working on it. It's only 2 stories so you won't be gazing out over much, but the decor is pretty cool.

    Amazing view, great decor, impeccable service and delicious food. What more can you ask for ! The Moscow mule is so good and a must try! Our waiter Danny was very gracious, and was very attentive to making sure we had everything we needed!
