Went for my daughter’s birthday. The food was amazing and our server made the evening perfect.
Always a great experience at Dario’s!
As I’ve said before still the best upscale restaurant in the Cypress area. Lobster and Sea Bass were both excellent. Very friendly staff.
I wanted to take my girlfriend somewhere really nice but i didn’t know it was goin to the that fancy lol i loved every second of it and all the food was cooked to perfection i will be coming back
Still my favorite food in Cypress.
First time guest and highly recommend Dario's. We ordered the daily specials. Chilean Sea Bass was one entree and surf and turf was the other entree. Both were absolutely outstanding. I would put Dario's up against any top restaurant in the Greater Houston Area. Service and atmosphere were very pleasant. It isn't cheap, but it's worth every penny. We will definitely put Dario's at the top of our "special occasion" places to eat.
First time here and will be back. Excellent food and service.
Steakwas flavorless, risotto crunchy. Had the same waiter 2x, waiter is kinda arrogant and never really asks if we need anything. never going again
Amazing food but if you go on or near a holiday, expect terrible service. They take in more customers than they can handle and everyone gets terrible service.
Unimpressed with the Valentine’s Day menu for $75. The Salad was chopped and disgusting. Lobster bisque tasted like tomato soup. My lobster was large but very tough and overcooked. My husband loved his steak but the portion of the plate was disappointing. I had to slather in dawn butter. All 3 of our martinis were strong but had tons of ice chips. I expected a higher quality martini for $14. Overall it just wasn’t worth the price. We had a reservation and had to wait 20 minutes to get seated. We ordered To Go from here a few months ago and the food was amazing so we came back but I doubt we will again.
On the positive side the grand mariner filled chocolate covered strawberries were delicious. Best part of my meal.
The only thing that made my experience not the best was the server. He never introduced his self or really talked to us unless we asked him a question. It felt really weird engaging with him, he seemed very distracted. We were handed drink menus with no dinner menu, and the first thing he wanted to do was take a drink or cocktail order from us without seeing a dinner menu I thought that was kinda odd. The food was amazing, and the ambiance was great. I will return, maybe not on such a busy night.
Our favorite date place in Cypress. The food is great (and getting better since we've been going there), and the staff is awesome.
Fantastic lunch menu and great service!
Favorite restaurant in Cypress. All of their food is incredible.
I had made a reservation for 5 people
When we arrived, they had the reservation but had not set up the table. We ordered brunch and while I know my frittata was cooked to order, it was still dry and seemed overdone. The restaurant was not full, but I still had to hail someone to get tea refills. Unfortunately, the brunch was marred when the bus boy cleared all the plates while one of the group WAS STILL EATING. Very frustrating. Not the usual service level, although we had a waiter we had previously.
The best restaurant in the Cypress area. Servers are polite and food is great
I’ve been to Dario’s before and it was nice and food was great. This time around we celebrated my dads 60th birthday. There were 9 of us. The waitress told us we had a total of 3 waiters for our table yet. But with that much help, no one asked if we wanted another round of drinks, (I had one glass of wine and I was waiting to get another.) We asked for ketchup to come with kids fried shrimp/sweet potato fries and it never came. My husband asked for a wedge salad and they certainly added it to bill, yet never brought it out, and we paid our $622 tab and didn’t realize it til the next day looking at receipt. We ordered 4 steaks medium and only one came out medium. The others cooked all the way with no pink at all. I was disappointed with how it overall went but my dad was happy to all be together, so that made up for the service.
We love the ambiance of this place and you can actually have a conversation here...noise level even when restaurant is full is acceptable. There were 7 of us and all who had steaks said they were excellent. I had the grilled snapper with crab...fish was very dry and it was very loaded with huge chunks of crab which is great except it overpowered the fish. All other entrees were good...especially the pecan crusted snapper. Service was sketchy at best....slow and had to remind our waiter about some of our orders. I’m assuming this was just an off night as usually the service is good. It is pricey, so just be forewarned, but overall a good place.
Very pleasant dining experience. Convenient location, will certainly visit again!
Other than being seated at a table beneath the wine racks, everything was great! It was a bit of an annoyance to have staff on step ladders trying to find wine bottles while we were eat.
Great food, service, and atmosphere. Took my wife for our anniversary and we both agreed we would be back soon.
Outstanding food and service! We really enjoyed every single bite! We love the ambience as well! We will definitely be back!
Very nice staff! One of our steaks was overcooked and the owner came over himself and made things right! He really cares about his customers, and our waiter was awesome!
The trio special was a little dry for $75.
Our first visit on the recommendation of a friend. We were not disappointed. Food & service were excellent.
We were celebrating a successful business conference and decided to try a new restaurant. We are new to Texas and I kept passing it and wondering if it could be our new go to restaurant for special occasions. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The service was impeccable and the food was great. We will return soon!
I would like to try again, before weighing in at length. It was an ok experience - not great, not bad!
This was our first time dining at Dario's. We have great experiences at their other properties and could not wait to here. Brunch is the ideal time to give this restaurant a try. Can't wait to get back for happy hour or brunch.
The service (Aaron and Dallas) was very good. I had the fillet mignon tips covered with a delicious sauce, with mashed potatoes and asparagus, and was very happy with my choice. My lobster bisque appetizer was good, but not great. My wife really liked her side dishes of creamed spinach and lyonnaise potatoes. We are both used to fine dining, but even so, thought the restaurant to be somewhat overly expensive. That said, we would eat there again and would recommend it to friends. The ambiance was fine.
Great service, horrible steak
Dario’s never disappoints. The food and staff are both exceptional.
Having never been to the restaurant before, I was willing to accept "okay" especially on Christmas day. However, I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff. Just wished it was located closer to me as I would definitely visit more frequently.
Have gone here several times over the years. Still an outstanding restaurant. Food is excellent and service is over the top. Great spot for those special occasions.
We had Christmas Eve dinner here and it was wonderful. We had a set menu but had several food choices. There were 6 of us and we all agreed it was a great meal! Will go again and do recommend. Nice place!
Great service for a friend’s birthday
Food quite good, well presented, flavorful, good sized portions. Service attentive and friendly. I do wonder why with table setting including bread plates and butter knives, there was never any offer or mention of bread service. Also, no offer of water. Noise was detrimental to ambiance, most likely due to location of seating, in line with kitchen door, but was not happy with staff setting up linen table at back of and against the back of my seat at booth. They were constantly talking loudly amongst themselves, and repeatedly bumping the table against my seat, very annoying, like a kid kicking your seat on an airplane.
I also am curious that despite being asked when placing reservation if dinner was for a special event and indicating for a birthday , that no recognition was given to this at any time.
Fabulous food and service! Thank you to Darios for making our evening special!
Went for the first time just a few nights ago. Was not disappointed. Wonderful ambiance and great food and service. Would go back again and again.
Service was excellent as usual. Chilean Sea Bass was prepared perfectly and the Brussels sprouts plated under the Sea Bass were fantastic. The Surf and turf was by far the best we have had . The Akeishie beef (American Waygu) was unremarkable. Built up to be "the best" steak on the menu, the boneless ribeye was thin and lacking in flavor. The wine list is good but a little overpriced (this restaurant is in Cypress not downtown Houston). Regardless, an enjoyable evening all the way around.
Fabulous food, fabulous service. Love this neighborhood gem!
