An awesome place!!!! We sat inside, but they do have a super nice patio! Their food was delicious & all of the employees were very sweet!
Made reservations for Mother’s Day. Was seated fairly promptly. Waited for fifteen minutes for anyone to come by our table. No one. Saw one waiter look at us, and subsequently, he went to host lecturn, talked to host, and then walked off. We left. Had to pay $6 to leave garage although it had said first fifteen minutes were free (perhaps we were there 16 minutes)
We had a great time. The weather was sunny and it was the perfect day to sit outside. So we grabbed a beer each and placed our orders. I had the celis white and the watermelon and feta salad. It was more filling that I thought it would be! After the first beer the sun was a little much so we decided to move into the shade a little bit. I saw there were some screens that could have been pulled down and a fan that wasn’t on, but the weather wasn’t too hot so we still had a great time! I can’t wait to go back and try one of the pies. All of them looked great!
The staff was friendly and helpful. The food and drink were great. The patio was perfect!
I’ve been to Darcy’s Donkey 4 times now. I live just behind the restaurant. The first time was great but each time it’s gotten a little bit more disappointing. This experience is happening to a lot of restaurants as it seems it’s difficult to hire and keep staff. There’s so much competition in the area but I do hope Darcy’s Donkey survives. I love how it feels like a real English Pub.
