Come and enjoy a unique cusines of Bengal & Goa, the two areas of India that was occupied and colonised by East India Company of Britain and Portuguese respectively. There will be a short talk about how colonisation influenced Indian cuisine, a buffet dinner comprising of authentic dishes from Bengal and Goa, and some live entertainment.

Very peaceful ambience. Courteous and efficient service. I recommend the set lunch of thalli.

Booked a table for 6 and phoned prior to arriving saying would be 15 mins late and was told that was ok. Food and service were brilliant up the the point at which we had finished our meals. After this point it seemed they were rushing to get us out of the door, which was a disappointment as the food was excellent. Unfortunately this was the talking point amongst us and not the food.

We took family members to Darbar, some are a bit particular about what they eat - and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meal and our time together.

Delicious curry, innovative menu with a willingness to add some particular side dishes we wanted. Very large portions! One starter between the two of us would have been generous in size.
