Very classy brunch place in the near vicinity. The people were friendly and accommodating even when one member was vegetarian.
I was really disappointed in the food. Three of us ordered the special catch of the day. It was Halibut with some sort of risotto. The fish was dry and the risotto tasted like mac n cheese. Not good for 36+ dollars. Also, brought a bottle of wine and their corkage was 20.00. A little high I think, usually around 15.00.
Somewhat restricted menu choice for brunch. All ingredients not listed clearly - my burrata toast came loaded with onions which was unexpected.
Great service. Food was good but not great but was just meeting a friend to catch up so we didn't eat much to be honest
The Cauliflower bisque soup was AMAZING! Our service was great! Very friendly and attentive.
Excellent as always
Had a great time/meal. It is on the noisy side but everything else was great.
Our appetizer never came but with ease and grace they swiftly brought it and took care of us the rest of evening. Great food, service and ambiance. Loved the jerk chicken salad and cheese plate.
We were there for NYE with friends......it was cold and noisy.....the service was ok and friendly....the food was very good for being a very fixed menu.....seemed strange that server said they couldn’t cook the meat the way we wanted it cooked....would I go back and....yes!
Honored reservation on time. Prompt server attention. Very good cocktails. Entree timely served. Food excellent.
Lovely atmosphere, attentive service, delicious food! I'd love to come back!
Although we generally like this restaurant and come a couple times a month, Friday was just off. We've experienced this once before and didn't come back for about a year. The service was fine but the food was terrible. We like to come on Friday nights for Happy Hour because it's a great atmosphere and the food has been good lately. Friday missed the mark. We had the burrata toast and it was covered in greens and not much else and then the burgers were cold and soggy. One in our party got sick later that night. Could have been something else but just saying....
I know they are desperately trying to get their restaurant across the street open this week but we'll have to think before we go back in the near future.
Very limited menu. Not very adaptable for making substitutions to meals. I.e.: potatoes instead of orzo etc
The burger was great, but the other mains were a bit off and the sides arrived cold. Service was good and I’d probably give it another try.
Food and service were great but almost unpleasantly loud.
Was less than I expected:-)
Recommend the shrimp burger amd the salad. The salad was one of the best side salads. Not the boring mix greens.
Warm, friendly service with excellent food in very pleasant surroundings. The kale side salad is the best in the Bay Area.
We had brunch with long time friends. Get there early in the day as the noise level inside got loud closer to noon. Service was great no rushing and food wonderful and fresh.
Great starters to share. The menu changes frequently with local ingredients.
We were not alerted that bar service only was available😳.
But we like Danville Harvest & enjoyed our time there😊
The food is very creatively presented, with interesting flavor combinations in each dish. My companions and I were pleasantly surprised when each dish arrived.
I've been daydreaming all day about the sopas appetizer and the cauliflower soup! We enjoyed everything, but those two dishes were interior! Also, I love the build your own Manhattan. Service at the bar is always my favorite here, and last night the gal working was great.
Always great. Service is exceptional.
This restaurant was mediocre at best. Great location and ambiance, but slow service (almost 10 minutes before the waiter came to take our drink order) and the food was just OK. We had a party of 6 and tried the charcuterie board, hushpuppies, fish of the day, burger, garlic shrimp, pork and the jerk chicken salad. The group all agreed the food was not that great.
This is our second visit and I ordered the pork tenderloin again which is unusual for me....it was so good the first time, I couldn't resist. All four of us were very happy with our the meal. The service was much, much better than it had been the first time we ate at Harvest. A bit noisy, however, you could have a conversation ....so that's OK. We may just make it our "go to" place.
Went for apps and drinks. Two of the four apps we ordered were not great- sent back one dish. Been here before and had better luck so it was disappointing.
Efficient service. Great food!
Good brunch and lunch options. The food was very fresh and came out quick.
Cute little place. In a yellow house on the corner of the main drag in Downtown Danville. It was packed when we went because there was a private party taking up the entire main dining area so all other reservations were being seated in the bar/lounge area. Bar/Lounge area is nice though, with good booths and smaller tables. All of the food was really good and they had a lot of gluten free options for those who have that type of restriction. Since I put it in our reservation notes that we were celebrating a birthday, they brought out a blondie at the end with a candle which was a very nice touch.
Too many little kids dining late on a Friday night to allow for a calm, adult evening out.
Danville Harvest is a great place for a quiet date or a group gathering. Great cocktails, especially if you're a whiskey fan like my wife!
We enjoyed all three phases of our meal, from roasted shishito peppers, a wonderful duck dish to the deconstructed key lime pie.
Well worth a visit!
Wonderful meal from soup to dessert. Great cocktails. Service was superb. Can’t wait to go back.
Ambiance and service were awesome! Chef Mario was great as always, making some great fare that will keep us coming back!
But don't get the chicken Very dry. And a bit expensive.
Food took forever (like an hour) but it was delicious. Service could have been more on point too.
I always want to be able to give Harvest five stars, but the service is always lacking. We had reservations and still had to wait 20 minutes for our tableIt took 35 minutes to get our food after we ordered. Empty tables next to us so it wasn't that busy at the time. Our server only came back to offer dessert, no contact in between.
Good, fresh food. Nice place all-in-all. Just slow service.
The food and service was excellent! The host accomodated our last minute request to sit inside.
