   One server for a packed house on a Tuesday. She was terrific but it's an impossible task. Pasta was great, apps and dessert were mediocre and overpriced. Nice ambiance and wine format is great. Overall its a nice date night spot if you are willing to wait and willing to pay a premium.

   We had a wonderful time at D’Antan. The food was excellent. Very good wine. But what made it special was our server. Tatiana was knowledgeable about both the food and wine; but more importantly, was warm friendly and helpful. We will be back!

   Just awful food for me. A $22 salad with mushy brown greens, sour old tomatoes, some walnuts, half an asparagus stick and globs and globs of pesto. Just awful - no decent kitchen should allow something like that to go to a table.

   Four of us had a very nice meal with two meat/fish dishes, two pasta dishes, and four glasses of decent wine. But the bill with tip was $350! This place is nice but the quality does not warrant that price level. Too bad.

   We enjoyed a dinner with friends and discovered, to our delight, a jazz ensemble entertaining diners. While the noise level was a bit loud for the small indoor dining space, the musicians were excellent. Similarly, the pasta dishes—boar ragu, lobster inflected, and gnocchi—were tasty and paired with a beautifully rounded vino rosso. It was a fourth visit, and the attentive staff and creative cooks did not disappoint.

   First time dining here. A very cosy place, with the organic wines everywhere around you. They do not have a traditional winemenu, but you play a game: based on your choice of color and mood, you will receive a wine suggestion. Tasting is part of the deal. Very knowledgeable staff, great advice. Wine was excellent and the food evenly great. The gnocchi with porcini mushrooms were the best gnocchi I ever had! It’s a bit pricy, but quality of food and service make it worth while. Only negative remark: it was cold inside. After dinner my feet were freezing!

    Great atmosphere and music. Great service and friendly staff. The cheese plate was delicious and the food was very good for the options they had. Not a huge fan of the wine options, but if you like dry wine this is perfect for you.

    The duck pasta was amazing! I loved how they don’t have a wine menu but have a spin wheel of your mood and wine type to allow you to taste what they have in the restaurant. Tatiana helped us and she was great and so knowledgeable.

    Smallish, neighborhood restaurant with a limited menu but everything is incredibly tasty and well-prepared. The ambiance feels stylish but smart and comfortable. Really excellent and knowledgeable service. Great find.

    Really good service, know that this is a wine bar and you will be offered wine so if yo are a millitant non-drinker this is not the place for you. That being said, the waitress was very knowledgeable and got me a great glass from the rather vague and unprepared description I gave. The food was excellent, I would return here especially with someone who enjoys a good glass of wine.

    D’Antan is a perfect little hidden gem. The food is incredible every time. The atmosphere is so romantic and relaxing. The natural wine selection is crazy. It is easily one of my favorite dinning experiences in the area.

    This was was my second time at D’Antan and it was out of this world! We were sat right next to the kitchen and couldn’t believe how such a small staff (there was basically one main chef) managed to send out such delicious food to a full dining room so quickly. Our waitress was lovely and very attentive, while allowing us to chat and enjoy the meal and wine. Truly a special experience at a “hole in the wall” type place. Everything we ordered, from the grilled octopus to the carbonara, was truly exceptional. One of the best meals I’ve ever had in my many years in Brooklyn!

    No exaggeration, one of the best restaurant experiences I've had in my life. The staff was ridiculously kind and accommodating. The food was outstanding and every new dish that arrived I was stunned at just how good it was. This is a place that I am adding to my go to restaurant list and I recommend you do the same. Our server Daniella was also once of the sweetest people, who also was super super enjoyable to talk to and get to learn more about.

    Food was excellent but the place is VERY small. They only have a couple of tables that aren’t bar seating unless you sit outside, not great when it is hot although it was not particularly cool inside. Other than that it was great.

    Although they have an extensive selection of wines, they do not have a wine list. Instead, they have a wine “wheel” where you select the color/style (i.e., red, white sparkling, etc.) and mood (i.e., fun, foggy, elegant) and the servers bring you a sample of wines they think match your wheel selections. While this is fun and perhaps good for those who don’t know wine well, my partner didn’t care for it given his extensive wine knowledge. The food we ordered was delicious, but the portions are not generous. As I read elsewhere, we did leave hungry. Overall, this is a solidly “good” restaurant, but lacking in value.

    The wine was great, but it was perplexing that the glasses they served the wine in were so small and not typical wine glasses that were appropriate for each type of wine. The food was not the best, which is a shame because the ambience and the service was nice.
